Be aware , you will have a difficult job trying to speak to a human at this very poor insurance company ! You get what you pay for ! Even simple enquiries are difficult to resolve! I will never use them again , we are still waiting to resolve a simple problem that would easily be dealt with by one of the more well known companies ! Never again !!!!!!!!

By definition a "self-service insurer" however this actually extends to dealing with third party claims yourself, Defending their County Court proceedings and at this rate, paying the third party yourself. Following a 50/50 split liability incident in April 2018, I asked QMH if they needed any help disputing the TP damage claim. They declined, saying it was modest and would be paid in full. Fast forward to September 2021 and proceedings arrive at home, the third party suing for unpaid vehicle damage. Three weeks on, QMH have made 1 phone call to me offering mainly excuses and platitudes and have yet to either confirm they have paid the claim or, alternatively that they are placing a Solicitor on record. So, I'm now Defending the claim myself. Fortunately I've 20 years experience in Civil Litigation but that's beside the point. This utter atrocity of an insurance company are effectively happy to let their policyholders get a CCJ against them through their poor performance. I've had 1 fruitless live chat, sent 4 emails, 2 contact forms over 3 weeks and still no interest from QMH. In short, don't insure with any Aviva underwritten company. I swore I never would as I see on a daily basis how terrible Aviva are from within Litigation, but was tempted by a really low price. Never again.

Avoid Quote me Happy no customer service, not able to speak to anyone by phone or by online chat. Don't respond to emails either. Had a new windscreen repair National Windscreens awful the guy did more damage to my car than the initial window crack. Replaced the windscreen black glue all over the car, seals not replaced, scratches on bonnet etc

cant get hold of anyone to explain why I owe money when they already thanked me for renewing policy. I just want to find out what is going on .Please do not use this company

I thought online only was great idea. Reality is avoid at all costs. trying to speak to someone when things go wrong is impossible. Windscreen claims are routed through National Windscreens who are worse than QMH.

To start with I wouldn't have put a star as quote me Happy don't deserve any. Delivery bike bump into the back of me in July, instructed to pay the excess buy quote me Happy as I would have a refund, two months after numerous phone calls and emails, still waiting. I called today and was informed that I had to contact the other insurance company for my refund, basically I was told not to bother them anymore I had to do all the work. Quote me well unhappy and wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

I have to update my password every single time I try to log into my car insurance details. Every time I try I’m told once again the password is incorrect and I get logged out. EVERY single time. The system just won’t update. I have filled in the contact forms with details of the issue but get no response. This is appalling. No helpful contact number of course.

Tried calling you three times to make a claim and clearly there is nobody f##king there!! Been with you three years and this is the first time I've needed to claim!! I've cancelled my renewal and also contacted my bank to make sure you don't try and take another payment. It's obvious you are SCAMMERS!! YOU SHOULD BR INVESTIGATED FOR FRAUD!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! THE REVIEWS ARE ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING!! HOW THE HELL YOU ARE STILL OPERATING?? 🤬🤬🤬

Absolutely incompetent. Could not handle a valid home insurance claim. Asked me to obtain plumbers report after their own plumber couldn’t determine the source of leak and water damage in bathroom. After obtaining the report at their behest and costing myself nearly £200 I phoned to enquire as to where to send the plumbers report they were not interested in the report being submitted and decided they would not cover the cost of the damage or the report. Disgraceful customer service and as a result I cancelled my car insurance with them as well. Would not entertain this company if my life depended on it. Do d not “Quote me happy” in any way shape or form. Steer clear.

Avoid this company- awful experience and stressful as they don’t care. Online self service is useless and the 24hour response delay if you seek help is not satisfactory at all.In desperation I’ve insured elsewhere with a 2 months left on my policy. Can’t take the lack of customer care. Please just avoid them 😱

I cancelled my policy within the 14 days of renewal yet they still took the full year's renewal out of my bank account. I tried logging into my account but they replied my details were not recognisable despite giving my policy number too. Thus permanently locked out of my account and they do not send the email promised to reset my password (despite using the password I originally used to register the account). This is a dreadful firm to deal with and they automatically take your renewal out of your account on your debit bank card since they do not have direct debits that their customers can cancel. AVOID THIS FIRM AT ALL COSTS!

Avoid at all costs! I am in the process of a claim and Quote Me Happy are useless. You cannot speak to anyone, it's all done via email or 'Live Chat' which is appalling. When you have an accident there are many moving parts, lots of companies involved; repairers, courtesy cars, 3rd parties, etc lots of questions. You cannot speak to a human being. I spent 1 hour talking on Live Chat messaging just to have the message window disappear then had to re connect to someone else who wanted to know everything again. Utter shambles mate! Best bit was they wanted me to wait 1 month to get my car repaired at one of their garages... so they could pocket the excess! Avoid these guys at all costs.

It took 3 years to settle a straight forward claim and make the required repair (that ultimately became far worse due to the delay). Complaints were ignored and the claim only settled after the involvement of the FOS.

AVOID! TERRIBLE COMPANY Terrible company to go with have not issued my refund for my car insurance during the 14 day cool off. I have now had to take this with the Ombudsman, have written to them 5 times saying I should of recieved it that's it! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

Reported an accident, got back a claim notification by email, nothing happened after that. Called to ask how to make a claim, and been told to do on line, useless. Paid for repair out of my own pocket. Think carefully before you click to buy.

Involved in a no fault accident, had to fill out a webform at the side of the road to report the accident (wasn't able to call anyone straight after the crash). My car was taken away a few days later and after that I've heard nothing from them. Tried to contact over the phone just to keep getting cut off, they never respond to emails. The webchat is useless the agents seem to have less of a clue what's going on than I do; just standard canned answers to everything and never getting back to you. The hire car I paid for in my cover in the event of an accident has never materialised either despite multiple requests for it. These people are clowns; save yourself the stress of dealing with these tossers. Yes the fully comprehensive quote was cheap, but in return the service you get is non existent. I've been stuck without any transportation for two weeks all because of a accident that wasn't my fault. They're happy to take your money, just a little less keen on returning the gesture. Oh and don't waste your money with the legal cover add on, it's just a load of greedy solicitors who will constantly harass you to make exaggerated claims for injuries so that they can line their pockets on your misfortune.

Horrendous service! You can't contact anyone and you just get emails farming you out to other people. No one in the chain takes responsibility for what's happening or has a clue what's been promised in your policy. It's taken a month to get my car repaired because no one wants to take responsibility for sorting a courtesy car, or there isn't one available. I won't be using again.
