I have recently changed my car and wanted to cancel my policy online which they have made impossible to do, as they are saying I have to upload documents which I have already done. Now they emailed saying they want money from me (I had to cancel direct debit as I no longer am the owner of the car) and are threatening debt collectors! I have been trying to email them for at least ten days to cancel my policy with no response! Very poor service would not recommend”
“Not just the worst insurance company I've ever used by one of the worse companies period!
I had only being using them for 1 year for my car insurance and in that year had no real issues but then didnt need them as had no claims.
My renewal came up and as is common in the insurance market, the policy auto-renewed. I am used to that happening and have on occasions been caught out with my premium going up a bit. However Quote Me Happy doubled my premium! It went from £670 to £1,350.
None of my details changed (vehicle, address etc.), I had made no claims, I've been driving for 14 years and have 10 years plus no claims!
I've contacted them but no reply! Absolutely disgraceful. Shocking company!!”
“They renewed a policy that I'd previously paid outright for the year .not direct debit. I cancelled it immediately and they refunded the money...then they took the money out again..still waiting for a reply and I expect a full refund..it's £96 so not trivial.”
“Would give them 0 stars if I could! You can't contact them by phone or email, and they just declined to quote me for multi car insurance. Though they also made me fill out the forms for multi car insurance completely from scratch, even though I am an existing customer and was logged in to their awful website. However, nothing had changed in my details but apparently they can't add another car to my existing policy!!! Well you can expect I will not renew when it runs out in April. Don't bother using them, unless you never want to change your policy or contact them. Any savings you might possibly make, are simply not worth it.”

My wife has just lost 4 years no claims bonus with her policy with these leeches as they only give out 9 years maximum which is never mentioned when you join them so now she has lost that the renewal is £30 more expensive with other companies than if she had her true NCB that she has saved for”
“Wouldn’t let me change direct debit date, told me if I want to change you need to cancel your policy and start again. Followed there advice and discovered that the new policy they offered me has gone up from £62 a month to £140. Wouldn’t recommend them at all. They have no operative so any contact is via email and takes minimum 24hrs to respond. Just got a poor responds of sorry we couldn’t help you 🤷🏻♂️ Cheers not quite quite me happy !!!!”
“Cancelled my policy with only several hours notice stating i had not provided proof of NCD. This had been sent a week previously and i had an email confirming their receipt. This left me without car insurance, no way to contact them to resolve the issue and a fine for their mistake. Now they will not respond to email enquiries and are unreachable by phone! Worst insurance comnpany i have ever used!”

I tried to cancel my policy b4 I incurred any fees but there was no way to contact them until the 14days had passed - which meant I had to pay the cancellation fee”

Can't log into account and have asked numerous times for password reset but nothing. Will never ever use these again so will just cancel my direct debit so they cannot renew my policy.”
“Terrible!! Very happy to take the money and give nothing in return. There is no phone contact unless You have some claim. The only contact is via email and for the reply usually You have to wait until next day. I have spent £108 on translation of the NCD proof which met all the requirements mentioned on their website while uploading the NCD proof. And next day company comes back to me with another new requirement my proof do not meet. Clearly to avoid accepting NCD and increase the price. Policy canceled and never going to use this company again.”
