Geeks on Wheels are a mobile computer support and repair task force. We travel to your home or office to fix troublesome computers and help solve your computer problems. We have staff based in Auckland, Hamilton, Cambridge, Tauranga, New Plymouth, Kapiti Coast, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin.

Here at Geeks on Wheels, we have have spent more than a decade assisting New Zealanders with their IT needs – we take the stress and frustration out of computer repair and malware removal, so you can enjoy your laptop or computer as you are meant to.

“The lovely technician named Sashika arrived promptly at 8.30am. to sort out the enormous problem I had created. My computer and mobile phone were both affected with my having rung a number I shouldn 't have and I had opened a big can of worms. I'm very impressed with how Sashika has restored a clean, safe computer and phone. I'd recommend him to everyone. Thanks Sashika.”

“Hi, Firstly your techs Ryan and Ben are excellent. However the estimate I was given was far less than $800 I was charged to swap laptops. Also Adobe / PDF had been forgotten by the team in your base (not by the techs) so had to be installed later. Possibly taken advantage of? Especially in these difficult economic times. Thank you. Praise for Ryan and Ben.”

Hi Andrew, thank you for sharing your review. We are happy to hear that you were happy with our technicians Ryan and Ben and we will pass this onto to them. We are sorry to hear that the estimate didn't end up matching the final payment. Due to our service being an hourly rate, we cannot determine how long an appointment will take onsite and can sometimes take much longer than expected. In your situation, I can see the appointment appear to run for 5 hours onsite due to unforseen circumstances and I can see we also discounted 2 of those 5 hours due to the mistake of the missing PDF reader and the longer appointment to ensure that you were not paying for work that shouldn't have been charged to you. We hope this clears things up, but if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us and a manager will happily discuss these charges with you.

“Herschel did a fantastic job on setting up my laptop. He was very patient and listened to what I had to say and had a great knowledge of all the programme loaded onto my laptop. I totall recommend him and the Geeks on Wheels team.”

“Ashvin was a pleasure to deal with. Arrived on time and quickly sorted out my Printer WiFi connection problem and also synced my phone to my printer and recommended I transfer any docs from my phone to Google Drive then send to Printer. He also gave me some advice to ensure connection remains stable. We also discussed TV's VCR's and Ash recommended purchasing a 55 inch Smart TV for my living room and recommended some good brands and showed me his tablet and recommended when my Chromebook goes south I should consider replacing with an Apple tablet which would give me a more reliable choice. He also checked why my bluetooth was intermittently not working and he fixed that problem and BEST OF ALL he showed me how I could turn off AI on my new phone which kept jumping in when I was texting and putting in information I had not asked for and even worse the information given was incorrect and it was taking me ages going back and deleting the info Ai supplied and finishing my texts. I was ready to throw the phone into a very wet place!!!!. Absolutely would recommend Ash's service and knowledge and will be a regular client of Geeks on Wheels in future.”

“Angus turned up on time, was tidily dressed and well spoken so I was comfortable withv him in my home. He instantly diagnosed my problem and solved it, then spent some time servicing the computer snd tuning it up. I was well pleased”

“Not impressed at all, he did nothing other than hand me a $200 bill. If he was an actaul technition he would, well should have known theb issue straight away. I have had this issue in the past and flat mates unquilfied son fixed it after having no training what so ever.Will not be useing aagain”
