Your tec Andy , worked on my computer today fixing the mistakes that were made by your tec Derek on the 28th April , After being around 8 years with you I am not happy being charged again ie twice for the same job . This is the first time that you Have Not Guaranteed your work over this time.

Hi Christoff was very professional. He explained things in a straight forward way. He answered all my questions and showed me other things on my laptop. He was patient even when I talked over him. Thanks

I wrote a review earlier, very scathing of this service. I received my laptop back from a replacement hard drive that GoW recommended. The keyboard malfunctioned as a result of cleaner fluid leaking into the laptop keyboard. This was diagnosed 2 days later. Was not impressed that GoW did not offer to fix it but recommended a new keyboard as my best option meantime. After contact with GoW senior people after they read my original review. the matter was resolved quickly and I was refunded what i paid for the keyboard. Thank you GoW.

My second callout. Very convenient. Good response on arrival. Hard drive crash on boot up ("CRITICAL PROCESS DIED"). HD replaced. Good estimate of final costs when considering options. I opted for replacement of HD only - about 1/3 price of replacing whole PC (hp All-in-1). Job sheet said I declined A6 processor replacement ("new PC" in my terminology). I do Word & Excel stuff and store family photos etc. so like to have storage and speed for those tools (and future software upgrades), not video games and the like. Call me a Luddite, but I object to replacing a computer after only 4 years ... My decision was graciously accepted and efficiently actioned. I will use them again.

Good service and our wifi issue mostly fixed however the Sonos connection is cutting out periodically.The Spark landline via wifi is not working however I understand that this maybe a Spark issue

Val completed the job of making my laptop run more efficiently as requested by me. My only regret was that I had not purchased a better laptop initially as I feel that I have wasted money on the purchase. However I am satisfied that my laptop is now running to its maximum capacity and my thanks to Val for that and explaining what was required.

While Geeks on Wheels technicians provide a good service (technically-wise), you can't always get them when you want them - you have to book several days ahead - and unless you keep asking questions they don't always explain what they are doing with your computer - I am someone who wants to know everything that's being done and why. That is, I like things being explained to me by the technician and that doesn't always happen. This last time when I made the booking I was told that customers with Gold Cards received a small discount. No mention was made of this by the technician when the time came for payment and as far as I can see no such discount was applied. In either event, being told one thing and it not being put into practice does rather put a sour taste in ones mouth. So, there is room for some improvement in Geeks' service.
