“This has been the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I have been waiting for a refund for over a year and have been fed nothing but lies and broken promises and on top of that the staff are so extremely rude and inept. I have been truly shocked at how I have been spoken to at times. They never respond to emails or get back to you when they say they will. I have asked for a complaints procedure countless times but have never been given one. I am so confused at how this business actually manages to run as their customer service is beyond shocking. I booked 2 tickets with this company. One of those had to be put on hold due to the passenger catching covid. The second ticket, the return journey was cancelled so we had to book a different flight back- this was back in January 2021! I have spent so much time trying to get a refund as I am entitled and have been told countless times that I will receive it in 4-6 weeks. MANY 4-6 weeks later I am refundless. There is a manager who works on the team called Nancy who is truly the most rude person I have ever spoken to. I decided to get a refund on the second ticket that we had put on hold, I had been previously been told they would take a small amount (~£10) for admin purposes- when I received the refund it was A LOT less than this and no explanation has been given. This company has basically robbed me of my hard earned money and seems to be getting away with it. I have been so stressed out by my experience with them that I almost gave up all hope but I will now be reporting them to ABTA as I don't want anyone else to get robbed and treated this way. Please stay away from this company for your own good they are simply not worth the stress they cause!”

“DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COWBOYS STAY AWAY .THIS CRIMINAL ROBBERS . I try to change the flight dates to THAILAND .I was told different prices every time The woman name Carol told me that , just because I callled them to find a better deal for a week .she will change me 350 extra to change the dates and put the phone down on me .The ticket price is £350 buy they want to charge me double the price . I am lucky that I am in UK and travelled to my destnation .just imagine if you are stuck in Asia somd place and this cowboys will not phone you back and screw you up with excessive charges .I am very angry nasty to me. Court action is necessary .”

“Not a good experience. I booked a flight and had to re-schedule , Getaflight was keen to extract more money, even when we ticket was flexible and we had seats in the same class. I took the airline and Getaflight team on a conf. call, but they weren't able to answer why they charge high prices when same class type seats were available. I finally cancelled the ticket and yet to receive the refund even after 2 months. The airline responded they have processed the refund but not credited to my account even after 2 months.”

“They are thieves scammer,do not go near them , airline is agree to change flight dates and waive the differnce but the want to charge more than orginal ticket price no refund ,i am gutted ,,disappointed going going to small claim court soon where is uk goverment?? Going to make a formal complaint. They are thieves.”

“Pay the extra but avoid this company. I booked my ticket for 1st Feb but was sent a confirmation dated 31st Jan. When I called customer service the assistant insisted I had booked for 31st even though I could still see on my screen that I had selected 1st Feb. The assistant Robert was abrupt. I called the company within 2 minutes of receiving the confirmation and instead of supporting and correcting the error he started to tell me about the costs involved and asking for my decision. I tried to explain that my screen is still showing me 1st Feb and he stated that it does not matter what I can see on my screen but about what he can see on his. In total this flight has cost me much more than if I had gone with a more reputed company or a flexi ticket. Please do not waste your time and money with this company.”

“It was my first time buying a ticket from GetaFlight for the flight to India from London Heathrow using Air India. Both the combination was the worst. Air India made me miss the flight on the way back. When I contacted Air India for a refund, they asked me to contact Getaflight as I had purchased my ticket from them. When I called the Getafilight customer server, 1st they hung up their phone. When I called them again, someone called AUSTIN (I am not sure if it was his real name) was so rude, the most arrogant and ignorant agent you can ever come across. He was saying "Tell me quick, I have no time". He had no time to listen to me. I told him can you at least just hear me out first but this guy was not listening at all. He was super rude and one of the worst kinds. Once you purchase your ticket with them and if you have any issues, there is no one to ever hear you so I would not advise anyone to use this company to buy a ticket. It is always wise to buy tickets directly from the airline as if you have any issues, you can deal with them directly.”

“AVOID AVOID AVOID!! DO NOT BOOK WITH GETAFLIGHT. Airline cancelled a sector of my flight and stated I can change or refund my flight without penalties. 'Austin' the most arrogant and ignorant agent you can ever come across wants me to pay £85 to change flight or deduct £50 to cancel the flight. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!”
