Absolutely awful service. If you’re looking to order from this business think twice. When things go wrong they will make no effort to rectify. They will be condescending, fob you off and then go on to cancel your order without your say so. Their website has different delivery dates to what is offered on the telephone. You will be waiting at least 2 weeks. The website has issues processing payment. Misleading delivery times on the website. When you raise a complaint it’ll most likely be dealt with by the person you’re complaining about or who processed your initial complaint. These people managed to really screw up. I would not recommend them to anyone who values service and experience. Can’t comment on the product as they cancelled the order without my say so. But I wouldn’t want to sleep where this came from anyway.

We visit a showroom where it has a glossy look and feel and initially get great service when we order. The bed we chose is there to see, assembled and looks and feels just right. We order it with a mattress and assembly for something like fifteen hundred quid. In the grand scheme, that’s a lot for a double bed, but that’s ok. The delivery is rapid but problem one comes with delivery and assembly. The delivery folks not only don’t build the entire bed, they damage the bed while they’re doing it and then scarper before we saw - they literally just downed tools and left with not a word. Didn’t tell us they’d finished, didn’t ask us to sign, didn’t even say goodbye. It felt like they ran off to not get caught. So, I have a bed that wasn’t fully put together, that has been damaged by sloppy workmanship and where it was put together, the build quality is like a toddler making a Lego set. There are gaps in panels, things not screwed together flush, supports not screwed on tightly - it’s a bit of a horror show and stinks of a shoddy rush job. When it comes to putting it right, Get Laid’s customer service is so inflexible, so lacking in user friendliness, fails to grasp the situation to such an extent that the only way they can fix their own staff’s hash of delivering and building the bed is to put us to considerable trouble involving the hassle and faff of returning a bed to them, getting a full refund and ordering another one while our four year old (who the bed is for) does what…. Sleeps on the floor? Why is it not possible to collect the bed and deliver one that isn’t damaged? I’m sure there will be some half baked, can’t be bothered, logistical drivel to ‘explain’ it. An initially good customer experience when buying ended up as a MasterClass in not cleaning up your own mess. So if nothing goes wrong, Get Laid are fine. If something does, my experience has been that they’ve been dreadful at fixing it. I’d suggest looking at the reviews here - the poor reviews have a theme - it revolves around the delivery staff and their capabilities. Guys - get a new logistics partner. When c. 8% of customers reviewing you say similar things, it’s time to listen.

I bought a super king-size bed from GetLaidBeds. The slats in the bed are 183cm so 3cm bigger than they should be. I now have a gap between the side of a bed and the mattress. I never imagined that considering I paid 1000 pounds for the bed, it would not follow the standard sizing of 200cm x 180cm. When I complained using their online chat, I was offered no apology and instead was told that people don't complain to them about the size. Well here is your complaint. If I could give you zero for both your product and customer service, I would. Another letdown was that they were not offering assembly for the area I live in so we had to assemble ourselves. This wouldn't be a problem, as we normally assemble all our furniture ourselves. But this time, there were 2 sets of different slats, with no way of knowing which ones are for the bed and which ones are for under-bed storage. Their manual is useless and to this day I don't have the under-bed storage assembled. Be careful with this company. My platform bed arrived with two major issues: 1. Pilot hole placement was very consistent on the 4 corner pieces. Some were so misplaced that it was literally impossible to drive the screw. Customer service claimed it was within tolerance, but the delta was about an inch from other corners and, as I said before, made assembly literally impossible. 2. The pilot holes have insets to make way for included washers. But the depth of these insets in some cases was not sufficient for the washer to not poke out, which interfered with the adjoining frame making assembly with the washer literally impossible. Customer service claimed the washers were "aesthetic" and therefore I could assemble the bed without them, but I question this because 1) washers are not typically used for aesthetics and 2) the screw is not exposed when the bed is assembled so there is not need for washers for aesthetics. After several back and forth emails with their customer service, they offered me $40 to hire a "handyman" to assemble the bed (I live in San Francisco where no such services exist at that price) or I could return it for $150. Now I understand why their website only features hand picked reviews!

Whilst the quality and workmanship is good the customer service is scandalously poor. They turned up at 7.30 and left without making a serious attempt at getting hold of us. No warning they were going to turn up and notified us 2 hrs later. The new delivery date is 2 and half weeks later meaning we have no bed to sleep in when we move in. There are other sites offering similar products so not sure they should be quite as slap dash with good customers. Will think twice before using them again.

Please do not order from this company. I placed an order did not get my bed as promised. I did not get a refund so I disputed the charge. I was told to dismiss my my dispute and I would get a refund. When I did and the merchant got their money they did not refund me. I have been trying to get a refund for almost a year.

Big mistake on buying this bed! I have the same exact experience to report as the other 1-star reviews... Packages delivered totally destroyed and missing one box, of course the box with the 4 posts, hardware and directions. One of the floating side shelves is missing 3 of the 4 screws holding the bracket on. I sent a detailed email about the missing parts and only received the 4 posts... At least if I had the directions I could go to Home depot and get the screws and biscuits.... Bummed...

I ordered a bed and booked the full assembly service.There was no parking space immediately outside my house. Instead of parking at the end of our short, one way road and carrying the items in as all other delivery teams have done, the driver wanted to simply dump the bits on the pavement. This was not acceptable. When I said the only option was therefore to return the bed he shrugged and drove off. No other delivery teams have had a problem. The products look lovely and if you have a dedicated parking space immediately outside your house, or live in the middle of a field, you’ll be fine. Otherwise proceed with caution or avoid entirely. Bed now obtained from a different company.

We ordered a low platform king bed that came in two separate shipments weeks apart. It came with no instructions, albeit the construction was simple corners, side rails and slats. It is a low profile bed which is appreciated, however it came with only one support that didn’t reach the rails for a king size bed. Our old king size bed, had 5 supports across the span. Needless to say this will not comply with any mattress warranty nor provide any support, even for an expensive mattress. After contacting the company about the problem, their solution was to change me more money for the extra supports. Which seems exorbitant for the already overly priced less supportive than a basic futon frame. The king bed also costs more than the California king which is larger and has more supports. Go figure. Extremely Disappointed. Needless to say I will have to get supports myself, because they want to charge over $100 for two boards. The wood is natural and good quality. However it is overpriced and the bed has no support. Overpriced for what it is. A bed lacking in support. Poor Engineering.

Avoid at all costs. I was very excited to find these amazingly designed beds. I ordered a king size platform poster bed. On the initial delivery date, the tracker they sent me to use said the delivery van was over an hour away. So I decided this would be a good time to leave work to get home with plenty of time to meet them. Two minutes passes and they ring to say they're outside!! I jump in a taxi, get home in ten minutes only to find they've left, despite being assured they would wait for me! Then on the next chosen delivery date (two weeks later), they arrive early and get to work assembling the bed. The men aren't wearing masks, during a pandemic. They inform me two vital bits of the bed are missing. They leave. Then half an hour later return with the 'missing parts'. In all honesty though it seems like they just took two random legs off another bed as they assembled the parts for a four poster bed which mine isn't! I've contacted get laid beds who say they'll send the correct legs for assembly, who knows when. This means yet another day off work for me, costing me a total of £190 for my time off work. I've asked for a refund on assembly and delivery fees and compensation for my unnecessary time off work. Their replies have been snippy, blaming everyone except themselves for all the mistakes. They've finally offered me a random £80 for my hassle or a total refund for the bed. Neither of which solves my issues. I've asked for a manager to call me, which I hope they will do today. Terrible customer service overall, and on inspecting the correct bits of the bed I do have, I can see it's badly made, with the headboard seeming loose and creaky. Would never recommend to anyone.

My husband and I are extremely disappointed with our experience with Get Laid Beds. Initially we were so excited to find theses beds for our Airbnb project. They looked perfect in every way. I wish I could go back to that day and tell myself "Don't do it!!" This bed company has wasted our time, set back our launch date significantly, and not done anything remotely helpful. We let the company know about our situation before any problems had arisen by saying we needed the beds before June 1. This did not seem like it would be an issue as we ordered the beds in April. The date they were set to arrive was in May. I understand international shipping is totally wack with COVID. I'm actually not even that upset about the beds arriving late. It is the way that the company (we mostly spoke with Amy) handled the situation that is beyond frustrating. I'm 22 years old, I don't ask to speak with managers, I'm just a kid. Get Laid Beds will drive you to this point. There is no accountability. 5 out of 8 of our packages have been missing for a month. We were unable to put our Airbnb up without a bed frame so we bought different ones from IKEA. In one of our many calls to Get Laid Beds we were told that we could decide whether we wanted to wait indefinitely for the beds or receive a refund and do whatever we wanted with the packages that had arrived. We built one of the IKEA beds which is no small feat and decided we would take the refund. We let Amy know. A few days later Amy let us know that FEDEX was finally going to be sending the package because it was being canceled and they don't like to do returns. A few days later the beds were at our house and now we are being told that we can not get a refund until all of the packages have been returned to Get Laid. To recap, we asked for the refund we were told we could have, Amy went to cancel the order, and because of this FEDEX made the delivery go through, now the refund is somehow unavailable until the packages arrive back to England (I'm sure it's much quicker going the other way). Nothing changed on our end yet decisions were made for us in the company's best interest rather than ours.The whole situation is maddening and so out of our control. As I mentioned before, I am a kid and $1,300 means a lot to me. I have no problem sending back the packages but to be denied the refund that we were promised is so frustrating. I would not be surprised if the beds took another two months to get back so we won't see our money until the fall?! Speaking on the phone with Amy today was like talking to a wall. Suddenly there was nothing that could be done for us until we send the beds back. They blame FEDEX for the whole debacle (meanwhile FEDEX who we spent hours on the phone with blames Get Laid Beds). We paid $1,300 to be absolutely shafted by Get Laid Beds. I'm sure if you are not on a deadline and you don't mind not hearing anything from the company when a problem comes up you will be able to enjoy their fine craftsmanship.

The most horrible experience a customer can have with regards to delivery of Get Laid Beds. I ordered a bed for our new home from Get Laid Beds, on 28-Mar-2021, with a delivery for 04-May-2021. But for some reason the bed got delivered on 01-May-2021 and the parts were left outside our house without any message by the delivery company, Tuffnells. Also, out of a total of 6 boxes, 5 were delivered but 1 was missing and not delivered. There was no photograph taken of the parts that were delivered at my house, which is normally the case with deliveries. So there was no evidence of what was sent by Get Laid Beds nor by Tuffnells. On 04-May-2021, I called Get Laid Beds to check my order status, and I was told that my order was delivered successfully. When I told it was not the case and that a part was missing, they started investigating. In this case, they said they can't do anything since it was delivered by Tuffnells, so they decided to check with Tuffnells and see what could be done. I didn't get any update on 04-May-2021. On 05-May-2021 I called Get Laid Beds again asking for an update, and they informed me that Tuffnells are yet to investigate and come back. So I waited till the evening and received a call saying Tuffnells lost the part that was missing from my delivery. At this point in time, I was given an option to take a photo of the parts at my home and send them an email based on which they would order a replacement for the missing part. Bear in mind, these are made to order beds, so I am potentially looking at anywhere from 1 day to 2 weeks or even more. The second option was for a full refund and they would collect the parts from my home, verify everything was present and then issue a refund. Interestingly, and this is where it struck me the most, they are very reactive when it comes to delivery but very proactive when it comes to collection of orders from customers home. The reason I say this is because, during the delivery phase they don't ask Tuffnells for an update or photographic evidence or confirm if it was delivered. I received no emails confirming the order was delivered nor for any feedback, which is normally the case with any other provider. In the collection phase they would contact Tuffnells, make sure the items were picked up from my home, make sure its on the way to their depot and then verify the parts. It feels like, for a brand built on good quality beds, their customer service is just BLAH!!! All I was offered was a full refund and an apology from their staff, for no fault of hers. Not even a senior staff called me to assure they would improve the process, nor did they offer any apology regarding the frustration I went through. Now I am very uncertain if anyone is trying to order beds from them, since I am not sure what will be delivered and in what condition. So please be very very cautious. Get Laid Beds will only offer any support once you contact them and nothing before. Very very reactive organisation. The whole experience has left me very frustrated and bitter.

I am a customer from the USA. It is a very bad experiences to purchase a bed from this company. We received a package with damaged products inside. Those damage is not because of shipping. They are damaged because of bad quality in product production. In another word, the bad technique in making assembling furniture. The "holes" for screw spike are not well matched between different parts. Is it possible for your facture in better quality control? The assembling instruction and pictures are very unclear, which is written in a elementary school level. The technical support and customer service is even worse, I have tried to communicate with them many times with email. They just promised you a moon saying the problem would be solved. Unfortunately, their system cannot even show a picture I sent in a proper way. Well, I could only write a review here and show those broken picture to everyone who is going to buy this bed. I am also waiting here to see when the service team is coming to solve this problem. Maybe I will ask my lawyer to send a letter to them and ask my money back !

If I can give 0 stars I would have.,.Our bed is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow and after waiting for almost 2 months and selecting "assembled delivery" , I got a email now saying they cant do assembly and will leave it outside. When queried about it the customer service have not been helpful at all .. looks like the company is going back to how it used to be with customers https://www.theguardian.com/money/2017/jul/24/get-laid-beds-tuffnells-courier-faulty-bed I should never have gone with them.. not sure what expect once its delivered now

Very poorly finished and packaged for such an expensive bed. Patchy varnish, scratches and scuffs all over the wood and no protection whatsoever in transit - just loose wood on a box. Less than half the parts I received are useable. After four days, I'm still waiting for a response from customer support. Appalling.

Long story short, they try to send you cheaper wood then you ordered in a way to scame unknowing customers, then if you try and return it they try and take money out of the money you send cause you "changed your mind". BIG SCAM.

Customer service told me to throw the bed away because they will not issue a refund. That is the value this company places on its own products. If you don't like it, just throw it away. That should tell you something. From customer service: "You do not have to ship anything back to us. We cannot offer a refund so please do dispose of the frame yourself." They just ship you a bunch of pieces of beat up, inconsistently measured and damaged wood in many separate packages with no instructions or tools. If you’re a skilled enough carpenter to "assemble" this and already own your own industrial strength drill then you should just go buy some lumber and build a bed yourself, save a thousand bucks. They also offer to pay people for the positive reviews so don't be fooled!

Horrendous service. Lied about a cancelled assembly, would not offer a refund. Sent me multiple emails telling me to prepare for an assembly and on arrival it was cancelled with zero communication. The multiple emails I received told me to clear my house, buy parking permits. I was discouraged from complaining or escalating and cusomter service was extremely patronising, putting the blame entirely on me, and discouraging me to get a refund. Absolutely do not recommend

Delivery 1 month late. Si we slept with our brand new mattress 160*200 on the floor for two weeks. Today we received the bed and once it was mounted we discovered the size is wrong. We don’t recommand this company for its poor customer service and because they are not serious at all. Be carefull !!!

Having seen a bed previously, we decided to buy one ourselves. The bed arrived damaged, and poorly manufactured. All 4 legs were replaced due to quality issues, including missing mortices to fit the sides into. There was insufficient hardware, and the way the whole thing is held together is a joke. Fortunately I had the materials/skills to add brackets to hold the ends upright and add a centre runner under the slats to prevent them sagging. I wish I had seen some of the reviews here before buying! In fairness, the support from their staff was very good eventually! I will not be buying from them again.
