My husband and I are extremely disappointed with our experience with Get Laid Beds. Initially we were so excited to find theses beds for our Airbnb project. They looked perfect in every way. I wish I could go back to that day and tell myself "Don't do it!!" This bed company has wasted our time, set back our launch date significantly, and not done anything remotely helpful. We let the company know about our situation before any problems had arisen by saying we needed the beds before June 1. This did not seem like it would be an issue as we ordered the beds in April. The date they were set to arrive was in May. I understand international shipping is totally wack with COVID. I'm actually not even that upset about the beds arriving late. It is the way that the company (we mostly spoke with Amy) handled the situation that is beyond frustrating. I'm 22 years old, I don't ask to speak with managers, I'm just a kid. Get Laid Beds will drive you to this point. There is no accountability. 5 out of 8 of our packages have been missing for a month. We were unable to put our Airbnb up without a bed frame so we bought different ones from IKEA. In one of our many calls to Get Laid Beds we were told that we could decide whether we wanted to wait indefinitely for the beds or receive a refund and do whatever we wanted with the packages that had arrived. We built one of the IKEA beds which is no small feat and decided we would take the refund. We let Amy know. A few days later Amy let us know that FEDEX was finally going to be sending the package because it was being canceled and they don't like to do returns. A few days later the beds were at our house and now we are being told that we can not get a refund until all of the packages have been returned to Get Laid. To recap, we asked for the refund we were told we could have, Amy went to cancel the order, and because of this FEDEX made the delivery go through, now the refund is somehow unavailable until the packages arrive back to England (I'm sure it's much quicker going the other way). Nothing changed on our end yet decisions were made for us in the company's best interest rather than ours.The whole situation is maddening and so out of our control. As I mentioned before, I am a kid and $1,300 means a lot to me. I have no problem sending back the packages but to be denied the refund that we were promised is so frustrating. I would not be surprised if the beds took another two months to get back so we won't see our money until the fall?! Speaking on the phone with Amy today was like talking to a wall. Suddenly there was nothing that could be done for us until we send the beds back. They blame FEDEX for the whole debacle (meanwhile FEDEX who we spent hours on the phone with blames Get Laid Beds). We paid $1,300 to be absolutely shafted by Get Laid Beds. I'm sure if you are not on a deadline and you don't mind not hearing anything from the company when a problem comes up you will be able to enjoy their fine craftsmanship.

The most horrible experience a customer can have with regards to delivery of Get Laid Beds. I ordered a bed for our new home from Get Laid Beds, on 28-Mar-2021, with a delivery for 04-May-2021. But for some reason the bed got delivered on 01-May-2021 and the parts were left outside our house without any message by the delivery company, Tuffnells. Also, out of a total of 6 boxes, 5 were delivered but 1 was missing and not delivered. There was no photograph taken of the parts that were delivered at my house, which is normally the case with deliveries. So there was no evidence of what was sent by Get Laid Beds nor by Tuffnells. On 04-May-2021, I called Get Laid Beds to check my order status, and I was told that my order was delivered successfully. When I told it was not the case and that a part was missing, they started investigating. In this case, they said they can't do anything since it was delivered by Tuffnells, so they decided to check with Tuffnells and see what could be done. I didn't get any update on 04-May-2021. On 05-May-2021 I called Get Laid Beds again asking for an update, and they informed me that Tuffnells are yet to investigate and come back. So I waited till the evening and received a call saying Tuffnells lost the part that was missing from my delivery. At this point in time, I was given an option to take a photo of the parts at my home and send them an email based on which they would order a replacement for the missing part. Bear in mind, these are made to order beds, so I am potentially looking at anywhere from 1 day to 2 weeks or even more. The second option was for a full refund and they would collect the parts from my home, verify everything was present and then issue a refund. Interestingly, and this is where it struck me the most, they are very reactive when it comes to delivery but very proactive when it comes to collection of orders from customers home. The reason I say this is because, during the delivery phase they don't ask Tuffnells for an update or photographic evidence or confirm if it was delivered. I received no emails confirming the order was delivered nor for any feedback, which is normally the case with any other provider. In the collection phase they would contact Tuffnells, make sure the items were picked up from my home, make sure its on the way to their depot and then verify the parts. It feels like, for a brand built on good quality beds, their customer service is just BLAH!!! All I was offered was a full refund and an apology from their staff, for no fault of hers. Not even a senior staff called me to assure they would improve the process, nor did they offer any apology regarding the frustration I went through. Now I am very uncertain if anyone is trying to order beds from them, since I am not sure what will be delivered and in what condition. So please be very very cautious. Get Laid Beds will only offer any support once you contact them and nothing before. Very very reactive organisation. The whole experience has left me very frustrated and bitter.

I am a customer from the USA. It is a very bad experiences to purchase a bed from this company. We received a package with damaged products inside. Those damage is not because of shipping. They are damaged because of bad quality in product production. In another word, the bad technique in making assembling furniture. The "holes" for screw spike are not well matched between different parts. Is it possible for your facture in better quality control? The assembling instruction and pictures are very unclear, which is written in a elementary school level. The technical support and customer service is even worse, I have tried to communicate with them many times with email. They just promised you a moon saying the problem would be solved. Unfortunately, their system cannot even show a picture I sent in a proper way. Well, I could only write a review here and show those broken picture to everyone who is going to buy this bed. I am also waiting here to see when the service team is coming to solve this problem. Maybe I will ask my lawyer to send a letter to them and ask my money back !

If I can give 0 stars I would have.,.Our bed is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow and after waiting for almost 2 months and selecting "assembled delivery" , I got a email now saying they cant do assembly and will leave it outside. When queried about it the customer service have not been helpful at all .. looks like the company is going back to how it used to be with customers https://www.theguardian.com/money/2017/jul/24/get-laid-beds-tuffnells-courier-faulty-bed I should never have gone with them.. not sure what expect once its delivered now

Very poorly finished and packaged for such an expensive bed. Patchy varnish, scratches and scuffs all over the wood and no protection whatsoever in transit - just loose wood on a box. Less than half the parts I received are useable. After four days, I'm still waiting for a response from customer support. Appalling.

Long story short, they try to send you cheaper wood then you ordered in a way to scame unknowing customers, then if you try and return it they try and take money out of the money you send cause you "changed your mind". BIG SCAM.

Customer service told me to throw the bed away because they will not issue a refund. That is the value this company places on its own products. If you don't like it, just throw it away. That should tell you something. From customer service: "You do not have to ship anything back to us. We cannot offer a refund so please do dispose of the frame yourself." They just ship you a bunch of pieces of beat up, inconsistently measured and damaged wood in many separate packages with no instructions or tools. If you’re a skilled enough carpenter to "assemble" this and already own your own industrial strength drill then you should just go buy some lumber and build a bed yourself, save a thousand bucks. They also offer to pay people for the positive reviews so don't be fooled!

Horrendous service. Lied about a cancelled assembly, would not offer a refund. Sent me multiple emails telling me to prepare for an assembly and on arrival it was cancelled with zero communication. The multiple emails I received told me to clear my house, buy parking permits. I was discouraged from complaining or escalating and cusomter service was extremely patronising, putting the blame entirely on me, and discouraging me to get a refund. Absolutely do not recommend

Delivery 1 month late. Si we slept with our brand new mattress 160*200 on the floor for two weeks. Today we received the bed and once it was mounted we discovered the size is wrong. We don’t recommand this company for its poor customer service and because they are not serious at all. Be carefull !!!

Having seen a bed previously, we decided to buy one ourselves. The bed arrived damaged, and poorly manufactured. All 4 legs were replaced due to quality issues, including missing mortices to fit the sides into. There was insufficient hardware, and the way the whole thing is held together is a joke. Fortunately I had the materials/skills to add brackets to hold the ends upright and add a centre runner under the slats to prevent them sagging. I wish I had seen some of the reviews here before buying! In fairness, the support from their staff was very good eventually! I will not be buying from them again.

I didn't expect delivering a bed during a pandemic to be easy so I was happy to wait a bit and do without the assembly service. More than four months later, I still have no bed and still cannot move into my new place. The reason was not the pandemic but simply a lack of care from a company that markets itself on "craftsmanship". The bed has a painted surface and the company do not protect this in transit. So predictably enough: a first bed arrived damaged, a second replacement bed arrived damaged. It just makes no sense, I get that the beds are reasonably priced, but not using packing materials seems a false economy and I would love to hear an explanation for why they do this The company is lucky to have some great staff and I decided to give them a third chance. But I am tired of the lack of proper follow up, of being the one who has to chase things up and remind them that I am waiting, of never receiving any acknowledgement that not packing beds properly is a bad policy. I have read the reviews here, and am concerned that the surface damage may not be the only problem to expect. I have given up, and requested a refund. For reasons not explained, they did not collect the first damaged bed when the second damaged one was delivered which means I have to wait for the refund too ..

I ordered the Japanese Storage bed but all l have recieved so far is a pile of wood with no screws/fixings or instructions for putting the bed together. One headboard bracket was missing and the one I recieved was damaged. Despite explaining this clearly to customer service, I'm still waiting on fixings and instructions. I would not recommended this company and will be claiming a refund.

We went through hell with this company over the last 5 months. This first bed was absolutely appalling; it had scratches, visible filler in many places, dents, … A very bad finish, but the pieces did fit together. We paid extra to upgrade to an oak bed, making £803 in total. The second bed was clearly made of two different types of wood, the difference in color was very extreme and ridiculous in a single piece of furniture. One of the posts was also damaged. We asked for a replacement. When we got the next attempt - the third bed, it was just as bad. One post had splits all the way along it and the pieces were very poorly made - the joints did not even line up. They haven’t collected any of the damaged items and at least one delivery failed to arrive and had to be pushed back another month after I chased. Every time we waited for a replacement we waited over a month. Our latest quote is 6 weeks to get a replacement. Their quality control is non existent. The workmanship is hilarious - we have received posts where the wrong hole has been made and then a new one made where it should have been. Don’t believe the TrustPilot reviews. My, much more detailed review than this, was removed without any warning or discussion.

I really was hoping to leave Get Laid Beds a positive review and was so excited ordering from them, considering how many great reviews they have... but unfortunately my experience of both their ordering service, product quality and customer service has been EXTREMELY POOR! Upon ordering I inquired as had questions about a bed and around discount codes etc. and nobody returned contact for days, by the time I messaged them again, I just ended up ordering through the website and 'taking the plunge'. Only afterwards to finally receive contact that there is a code I could use, but because I've made an order it's now too late (fair enough, no major issuer here, just delays). The bed was delivered on time, but then here is where the issues started. I paid extra for the felt padding to protect the flooring and had I not checked, this would have gone a miss, as it was missing from the delivery. I then didn't want to build the bed as I wanted to avoid scratching our wooden flooring. They then sent this out and a few days later, I began building the bed. The parts looked really nice apart from the fact that the headboard had a few slight scratches on it when received, but these were negligible considering it is wooden after all. The instruction manuals are really poor, as they rely on more imagery but key parts such as the distance of slats, how tight bolts need to be and other aspects which extra detail would be important (considering the cost of their frames) were missing. Nevertheless I used rational thought and measured the slats to 2" separation between slats and made sure bolts weren't too tight. The bed looked great and we put our mattress on top and then lay down to give it a test. To our horror, it was really creaky and made so much noise on all the joints, initially we thought it was the slats. It's not the type of build you expect when you buy from such a reputable company who pride themselves on their 'carpentry work'. Customer services were contacted and to cut a long story short, I have to wait over 2 months for them to come out and look at the bed, I've had constant back and forth in emails and you'd think someone could just pick up the phone and speak to customers, but this seems to be too much of a chore. In addition emails aren't fully responded too, with clear questions or points completely overlooked and apparently when chasing for a response to a video I sent it of the creaky bed (3 days later) today I 'missed an email' was the response. They are now saying that I must have over tightened the hinges and also the headboard (which is funny because that came pre-built). The whole purpose of the video was to inform their engineer visit, so that they know what to do and what parts to bring, but they used it as a 'blame the customer' opportunity. I'm hoping someone from their senior management team read this and make the sensible decision to have a rational conversation, but as i'm feeling now, my advice is to avoid this company if customer service and after sales support is important to you.

Shocking customer service was told the bed would be delivered on 15th after an extra two delay because of Covid19 (which was fine and I had know problem with this given the circumstances). Received no communication until I phoned customer service to find out if the bed was being delivered, only to be told that it had been put on hold but some incompetant person at customer service and couldn't be delivered till another 5 days later by their white glove service. On top of this they told me that they were not providing white glove service while the pandemic was happening even though there is know mention by them in any email or on their website that this was happening. Absolutely joke of a service and didn't even offer any money off for the inconvenience.

First it was missing instructions, then it was missing half the pieces (lost in delivery), then it turns out when you order a box to go under a bed you don't even get one that fits. To add to it the customer service is unhelpful and pretty patronizing - just blames the courier and the buyer for everything. It's been a total waste of time and money (they're certainly not cheap), I would love both back and to be rid of the bed but unfortunately that's not an option. I'd have to pay for the return, and I can't bear the idea of having to have any more dealings with them. Better not buy in the first place.

The original order was placed on 02/01/20 to be delivered for 16/01/20 in which I had to wait in all day, find out it will be 6pm ish arrival taking an evening OFF work, for it to be cancelled last minute at about 5pm. They apologized for this and the next delivery date was 23/01/20 in which again a similar event happened, I had to take time off work and no bed arrived. To recompinsate this I was given an option of wait 2 more weeks so the delivery would be on 06/02/20 and a discount which half was the delivery cost! This would leave this delivery 21days late in which I have slept on a mattress on a floor, and 35 days from the original order. Now to add to this I have been told the delivery can not be made until 13/02/20 showing their lack of customer consideration and not rectifying their mistakes. The available delivery dates are every thursday however I have to wait 2 extra weeks because of their list of errors. Tldr: 4 weeks late delivery with no bed. Still not delivered today! Awful customer service, awful logistics, awful company. If I could purchase a low framed bed from anywhere else I would! If I had time I would sit on the internet and warn everyone to stay away from getlaidbeds. All this with very little faith the bed will turn up on time and very little faith the money owed will be returned on time.

Received the bed on time. But it turns out, they shipped two different stains for the legs and the frame. The only options were a (small) partial refund or to ship new legs (to match the color of the frame I did NOT order). However, per their customer service, the legs STILL wouldn't match if I chose that option (something to do with the wood and the staining process). So, no matter what, I'm stuck with a bed frame in the color I did NOT order, with legs that don't match. They would do nothing to make sure I got the bed I actually ordered, or at least a MATCHING bed. I will never order from them again.
