“We booked our slot to visit the showroom, and got undivided attention. All the beds looked fantastic. All really well made proper beds. Decided on the White Knight space saver small double with an underbed storage drawer. I received emails saying when the bed was being made. On delivery day, I got an estimated delivery time, a phone call saying they were on their way, and then a 'track your bed' I could even see it got stuck in traffic at the end of the road. Chris and Susan assembled the bed quickly and carefully. We are really happy with the bed and how it got to us.”

“Not really impressed to be honest. Firstly, The optional extra side bedside table piece came with damage to it. It wasn't huge, but noticeable and when paid £79 extra for essentially a couple of pieces of wood I wasn't expecting it to be damaged. Emailed the company website a number of times and got no response which I found very frustrating. Tried with and without attachments so don't see any way that it won't have got through. And when I emailed before purchasing I got a response very quickly regarding my query. It seems they're not interested now I've made my purchase. Poor customer service in summary. In terms of the bed, I'll caveat this as I assembled myself (I needed the bed asap and the information seemed to suggest it would be an easy assemble and I do quite a lot of DIY). However it isn't as sturdy as I imagined it would be. The headboard has quite a lot of movement in it and the pieces don't sit flush where they should be after I needed to move it across the room. I found the picture instructions quite confusing a lot of the time and felt there could have been worded explanations in addition to the pictures. I certainly wouldn't call it an easy assemble. I wouldn't recommend assembling yourself and would choose a different company who would assemble if need sooner than the assembly delivery allows for. The price they offer to assemble is very reasonable, and would also have been able to show them the damage to the bedside table so my first review point probably wouldn't be an issue either. So I'll give it an extra star because in principle it is a good service, just hasn't been for me. However I'm not really convinced it is my assembly that has caused the problems rather than just not being the most sturdy of designs that doesn't cope with being moved a couple of feet across the room.”

“The bed looks great and feels sturdy. I had a difficult time choosing the colour and although I think I went for the right colour in the end I think having more pictures of the bed in different situations would be useful. Customer service was quite responsive but couldn't give me a time period for my delivery which was frustrating as I had to make sure I was home between 7am and 9pm.”

“From online ordering to delivery, I have not been disappointed. The white glove delivery was excellent. The delivery guys were absolutely wonderful and the bed looks amazing. Not to mention, the mattress feels like I am lying on a cloud.”

“This is my second bed from Get Laid Beds this year. My daughter and I, are REALLY big girls Weighing over 26 and 23 stones respectively, Each one of the beds can hold us easily. Sometimes my kids and I sit on the bed and talk for hours, the beds can easily hold us all laughing and giggling away. Together all five of us weigh about 695kg!! I'm so glad I've finally found a good company that builds beds to last!! Just like in the good old days. I need two more beds when we move in a few months. I can confidently say Get Laid Beds is the ONLY place I'll be buying my beds from, from now on. Also, the delivery team were really professional and respectful both times. “I have previously bought two beds from Get Laid Beds and have been happy with the purchases. However, I had to rely on a friend to wait in for the latest order. She spent half a day waiting for the bed to arrive and only 2 packages were delivered. She had to come back the next day and waited 1.5 hours for the third package. Not only was it a waste of her time but I was left putting the bed together the night before it was needed for guests instead of two days before. It's really disappointing. The beds are really solid but I should not be charged for such a poor delivery service.”

“Previous excellent experience with Get Laid beds but this time around their carrier FedEx has let them (and me) down badly. Initially delivered to incorrect address the GL delivery department tried to rearrange with FedEx but got fobbed off repeatedly by FedEx on three separate occasions about a new delivery date to our home. Still have NOT received the bed a week past the original date. I keep being told by GL it will come tomorrow ( and it doesn’t). I’ve had to wait in on three full days so far. VERY disappointed and would think twice before ordering from GL again. Beautiful beds, nightmare delivery!”

“This is the second shoreditchin I've ordred. My order though was honey satin to match other pine bedroom furniture, the item received was more cinamon/coffee in colour. Whilst the frame is hidden, the headboard isn't, pillows cover it so I can live with it as I don't want the hassle of dismantling and reassembling another bed. The bed is well constructed but creaks more than the first, the lats don't sit equally on the joists either, overlapping on one side or short on the other despite pre drilled holes (7" and 4" using the middle holes and 5" and 5.5" with the first and furthest), something I don't remember being issue with the first bed. It's a good bed though it would have been nice to have got what I ordered.”

“Very good service, the delivery and assembly team were great and polite They took all The packing material with them. Gave us advise on care and after service care. They complimented the company and it’s service which is very positive attitude, felt like Get Laid is a happy family. “Very nice bed but the assembly was extremely difficult!! Screws did not go in unless we used so much force. The assembly took us over 3 hours! Really disappointing in that respect.”

“Wow. From start to finish the service was incredible. The website so easy to use and self explanatory. I ordered 4 beds. All the colours are beautiful and the beds are strong and look very Stable. Also with a 10 year warranty. The white glove service I paid for was beyond exceptional. I have never met such friendly delivery people before. So polite and courteous. I knew with a countdown how long they would take to deliver and I am so happy. The beds look incredible and for my first home I am absolutely satisfied and excited every time I look in the rooms. Thank you for your service and craftsmanship: )”
