Summary: I pre-paid for a car that never showed up. Got told by customer service to “feel free to take a local taxi”. 3 days later I still dont have a confirmation that they will refund me my original payment or the difference of the price I paid for the local taxi. Detailed Description: I paid £110 for a car to pick me up from Stanstead at 1.30am to find no car when I landed and the driver not picking up the phone. Gettransfer’s response was “feel free to get a local taxi” and when I demanded that before I pay another £200 for a local taxi I need confirmation that they will refund me my original £110 plus the extra £90 they said they could not guarantee that and I should email customer services. Obviously I had to get home so I took a taxi from the airport and paid the £200. I emailed customer services from the car demanding my refund, I chased them every day for 2 days for a response and 3 days later I received this: “Good day, dear Customer, Your case is currently in queue. We apologize for the inconvenience caused and for the delay with reviewing your complaint. We are doing our best to review each case as fast as possible.” This is a disgrace! I need that money.

Prenotato un transfer a/r da Charles de Gaulle a Parigi centro, 14 persone di cui 4 bambini ( quindi richiesti pure i seggiolini ). Il nostro volo all'andata è in ritardo di 2 ore, informiamo subito l'autista, che nonostante avesse 4 ore di preavviso ci informa che dobbiamo pagare 60 euro di supplemento ( pazzesco, uno prenota il transfer fornendo i dati dei voli....). Provo a chiamare l'assistenza Gettransfer....nulla assoluto... all'arrivo abbiamo pure dovuto aspettarlo noi e chiamarlo, altro che cartello di benvenuto,nel taxi non erano presenti i seggiolini, bambini ( di 2 e 4 anni ) in braccio in barba alla sicurezza ...alla fine essendo tardi paghiamo senza far troppe storie, e ci mettiamo d'accordo per farci venire a prendere alle 17 il giorno del rientro. Un'ora prima dell'ora ci arriva un messaggio dicendoci che il taxi sarebbe stato in ritardo di 30 minuti; proviamo a chiamare e ci viene sempre messo giù; chiamiamo l'assistenza che finalmente risponde e ci dice che ci avrebbe richiamati in 2 minuti....più sentito nessuno. Aspettiamo le 17.30 con un po' d'ansia quindi non vedendolo arrivare scriviamo ancora e finalmente ci risponde che avrebbe avuto altri 30 minuti di ritardo, quindi arrivo alle 18 per un volo alle 19.25 e circa 40 minuti di viaggio, rischio altissimo di perdere l'aereo...panico totale ma sempre menefreghismo assoluto del tassista ( già pagato ) e da parte di gettransfer. Alla fine arriva alle 18 e sfreccia per Parigi a velocità assurde e sempre facendoci tenere i bambini in braccio...inutile che dica quanto fosse pericoloso. Arriviamo in aerporto e corriamo al desk, arriviamo 5 minuti prima della chiusura del check in e alla final call dell'imbarco. Alla faccia del pagare un servizio transfer per la comodità e non aver problemi. MAI PIU GETTRANSFER!!!!!!!! Ah chicca finale, alle mie rimostranze non hanno mai risposto...magari qui per fare la figura chiederanno il numero di prenotazione per investigare.....

I booked for a SUV big car and a small car was given at the London airport and could not take our luggages . We sacrificed the front seat for a luggage space .The driver could not explain . When I return back to Singapore I was charged in Russian currency and I lost a big exchange rate as compared to sterling pound which was in my printed copy . When I get in touch with gettransfer they said it was a platform they use and there is no way to change it !! My last time using this company !

We reserved a ride from hotel to Prague airport on May 27, 2019 10am. We four people stranded right outside the hotel since 9:50. The driver had no show at all until 10:25. We had sent three emails to the driver and to the gettransfer.com during this period of time but neither had no response. The situation made us really concerned because there were not many taxi cars on the street and the hotel office was 11 min away by walking. We four people with four pairs of eyes searched over the street carefully but not see their car until 10:25. We had taken a taxi from the street finally. Afterward. The gettransfer.com said that the driver was there at 10:20 not not seen us at all. Therefore we only got 40% refund. We would tell people better not use their service in the future because it is so not reliable and not be on time at all plus the driver was incapable to find clients even right at the address! It was an easy money for the driver to make as long as the driver just be there even late and just claim he didn't see the clients then 60% money would be in the pocket:). Overall gettranafer.com is very unfair and unprofessional and unreliable business. Don't jump in.

Dear Client, I am sorry to hear you've had such a negative impression of our company. We have thoroughly reviewed the case and it was confirmed that the carrier had proactively tried to reach you via the mobile phone from the pick-up spot; however, their calls were rejected. Thus, the decision was to split the money. I am deeply sorry about the inconvenience that was caused by this, but we also cannot refuse compensation to conscientious carriers who put time and effort into providing the service.

Dont book your transfer with them. Was left in Barcelona with a old man in wheelchair and 2 small kids age 0 and 5. The luggage was late so we were late out from the airport. The driver was informed with flight number and time. The response from gettransfer was. The driver waits 1 hour. The driver started the tim exactly when we landed. He gave us not time to collect luggage. He was imformed with flight time and nubmer.

i don't recommend this company I ordered a ride from Geneva to Val Clart in 3.3 'we arrived in Geneva and we were looking for a driver No one was there We contacted the company and it turns out that there is no driver to come take us We were shocked in the angrey and very nervous because their service said that this is our problem and if we want to receive the only option Is to pay money to another taxi. Only after shouting and a million calls to a company that thought we were stupid We received a call that he used to come to pick us up. We waited for 3 and a half hours until the driver of course did not pay extra because we had closed a month in advance on the price. Instead of the company tell me the first time they are sorry and cover will compensate us and of course arrange a trip as soon as possible Deputies do not know what to say and pass us like Ping Pong I am very disappointed and this is the last time I invite them !!!! This company works with transportation agencies and their answer after two weeks the driver who was supposed to pick us up had an accident but of course I do not believe they would tell us that at the moment we called to find out where our driver missed a whole day and we lost money because we closed a guide we arrived at the hotel only at night. they manger on get transfer talk with me in the email and bring me carrier number.... i try to call the company driver and I tell them the story what happend and The guy on the phone laughed of my face and hung up the call I Very nervous and i lose more 300 euro on the date 3.3 because the driver didn't came and we waited 4 hours on the airport I don't give up I will sue your company

Will not be held accountable when they mess up. Sent a smaller van then paid for and had to go three hours with luggage on top of me. Will not refund a portion or compensate me for their error. Terrible service and they are liars even though you have a voucher stating facts, they will tell you that the driver has the right to charge you more. Do not use. Terrible service.

Driver didn't turn up and even didn't let me know nobody is coming to pick me up,I had to book a taxi as I would missed my flight,terrible and not reliable company.

Dear Client, We don't provide invoices for transfers as we are an intermediary between the carrier and the passenger. The invoices are issued by the carrier companies as they are the ones providing the service. We hope for your understanding.

Be aware that if your flight gets delayed for weather conditions (that are outside everyones control) the transfer company will charge you full transfer price if the delay is above 60min - please consider other options as Uber or Addison Lee. Have spent 500 EUR in a EUR 200 transfer, so be careful...Hope this helps future users. Maria

Driver never showed up. Paid €200 before the drive. Company didn’t do anything for us to get our money back. Only 1 mail that they Will come back soon But they never did. Will never book here again

We booked a return transfer from Lyon Exupery airport to Tignes Les Brevieres several months before we travelled. Having heard nothing further from the company after paying the deposit I contacted them a few days before to ask how we would find our driver once we arrived at the airport. I received an email the following day (less than 24 hours before we were due to leave home) to say that our driver was no longer able to do the transfer and would we like a refund! In view of the lack of contact from the company I expect that had I not contacted them we would have been none the wiser until we arrived in Lyon and found ourselves stranded. Despite several emails and phone calls to customer services requesting that the company make good on their end of the bargain by finding us alternative transport, the best they could come up with was another driver charging almost three times as much as our original quote! In the end all we could do was take the refund and find our own way to Tignes for 4 adults and 5 children by booking hire cars. We did get refunded our deposit although minus a £12 fee apparently charged by the payment company and nothing to do with them. I have since complained further on principle requesting that they refund the £12 given we have received no services in return for said deposit and have received no reply, apology or otherwise. Terrible service and I would not recommend to anyone.

We apologize ofr this unpleasant situation. We rely on our carriers and sometimes can not possibly foresee such behaviour from them. We have blocked this particular carrier from our system. In such cases a full refund (including the payment systems commission) is issued. The excessive amount you mentioned is probably the conversion rates which we do not compensate since it is your choice to pay in that currency.

Wish I didn't have to give even 1 star. Booked a transfer from Venice to Corvara for a friend. His aircraft was delayed so he sent an email to the carrier SPP to warn them of a possible 2 hour delay and to check the arrival boards, as they claim to do. The aircraft was fixed quicker than anticipated and landed 1hr 15mins late. No driver waiting in arrivals. He called the contact number, got the impression that no-one was coming. Lady at the Information desk called for him, he answered and then just hung up as soon as the name was mentioned. She made frequent attempts to call back, none were answered. So, at 5pm local time he had to find a taxi willing to make the one way trip of 180kms. I had been quoted a price of 190 Euros and pre-paid the 57 Euros demanded. He had to pay 380 Euros for the journey. I claimed back from Gettransfer the 190 Euros over and above the quote and my deposit of 57 Euros. This claim was denied by the so-called quality assurance manager despite lengthy email exchanges. She persisted in claiming that the airline should pay, ridiculous position, they have no liability in Europe for any delay of less than 2 hours. She failed to address or recognise that the customer had tried to alert them to a delay and that the supplier had not responded to phone calls. It is criminal to keep a deposit for a service which was not provided and I am exploring avenues to take legal action against them. The 190 Euro taxi cost a total of 427 Euros! No customer consideration at all. I will try and ensure that this review is circulated as widely as possible.

Dear Rick, We understand the inconveniences that arise when a flight is delayed but our carriers can not be possibly responsible for such misfortunes. We have 1 hour of free waiting time at the airport but the drvier's day is often fully scheduled and other transfers would be at risk because of the airports fault. This general rule actually allows our service to work smoothly. We are really sorry that you have had to pay more.

taxi didn't turn up or any other groups on our flight. salzburg to bad hofgastein. left us stranded with 4 kids and we had to pay 205 euros for our own taxi and missed our evening meal. taxi on way back was late and on the phone you don't give a damn. disgusting

We have booked a car from Geneva to Courchevel 1850 on 16 February 2019 and paid 100% in advance ($390). We received an email that we were assigned with a Mercedes Benz V class 2017. We have provided flight detail for possibility of delay. Our flight was delayed. When we arrived, we were met by a driver in unkempt clothes and led to a very old station wagon, with soiled and stained seats, full of driver's personal belongings and with BROKEN SEAT BELTS. We were told that because of the delay, the new Mercedes was taken away by someone else and we can take a ride in this hazardous vehicle or lose our money completely. When we tried to protest, and later complained to the company and asked for at least partial refund, the answer was that because of the flight delay the driver could charge us extra, but kindly didn't. Well, I must say that we would have much prefer to pay extra and be driven in a safe clean new Mercedes that in a disgusting ancient van with yellow stains on the seats and BROKEN SEATBELTS. The whole thing felt like a horrible scam.

First and last time I am using GetTransfer. The first driver did not show up at the meeting point and arrived only 10 minutes after me calling the company. On my way back I have canceled the trip 12 hours in advance only to find out that they have a strict 48 hours cancellation policy. This is unbelievable in our world when plans are changing all the time. They refused to refund even part of payment. My advice, avoid GetTransfer and use instead more reliable services, like for example : Uber.

I used this company once and the transfer did not turn up at Grenoble Airport. The updates were sporadic and varied from 'I'm outside the airport to 3.5 hours'. 3.5 hours late was the apparent reality. We organised an alternative transfer that left 2.5 hours after the arrival of our flight (not through Get Transfer). Get Transfer are not helping me get a refund. Do not use this company, you will be let down. Don't let them spoil your holiday.

Gettransfer took payment for a service, confirmed the driver only for them to cancel 2 hours prior to departure. Customer service did nothing to provide incremental support which ultimately resulted in us taking a last minute taxi at a much inflated price. The firm is ethically and service redundant with zero concern for customers or its commitments. I cannot emphasize enough how poor an experience I received.
