This is a copy of letter I sent to PlushBeds following the pickup of my mattress for return to the company on Wednesday, February 24th. “As scheduled, my PlushBeds Botanical Bliss mattress was picked up by a Hauler on Wednesday afternoon. I wanted to give you feedback on that experience. Even though I rated the overall experience as a 5, and stated the reason being “fast and efficient”, I was actually appalled at the lack of care demonstrated. I made every effort to protect the mattress and keep it in pristine, very clean condition, as clean as it was coming out of the box and plastic wrap, with your mattress protector, a very thick plush mattress pad, and hospital type incontinent pads for extra insurance. The hauler manhandled the entire mattress, folding it half, and bumping my pristine fine hickory wood bed frame against the nightstands and a large wooden blanket chest at the foot of the bed. When that didn’t work, I suggested he unzip the cover, and remove the latex layers one at a time, which he did, and placed as they were in the bed of his open pickup truck. The bottom layer with cover he rolled up outside in, and tossed in the truck bed. Nothing was boxed, covered, protected, in any way, so I’m sure will be covered in filth on arrival. It saddens me that a bed costing so much and used for just 99 days, was handled with such disregard, after I took such great care to return it in as new a condition as when I received it. It seemed to me that it is headed to the rubbish pile, and that creates great distress on such waste, and completely out of the realm of my control. It seems that the company would take better return shipping measures to protect their product, and be able to resell it in pristine condition.”

Scheduling for pickup was easy and quick. The company stayed in communication with me when they were en route and picked up my items with no trouble. I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 because of the price. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Originally scheduled between 12 and 4 pm on Thursday to pick up and dispose of heavy television and tv stand. Heard nothing from the assigned driver, so I called at 4 pm. Driver was unfamiliar with our house as a customer and said that he would call with ETA after getting to his next stop. Nothing further from this driver. Called at 5:30 pm and left a voice mail message. No response. At 6 pm I called LoadUp. Morgan tried to contact driver with no success, so she rescheduled project with a different driver for 8 am to noon slot Friday. New driver called this morning about 7 am saying he was about one hour out. They showed on time and within 15 minutes, they completed their assignment. Good recovery by Morgan of LoadUp.

4 and I only listed it less than a 5 because I was not given a receipt or any documentation from the people that picked it up, so I am just a little leery. Otherwise it was timely and great communication

The experience was okay. The driver and loader arrived 30 mins later than the schedule time (8am-12pm). The loader was nice but did not wear a mask or shoe cover when entering the house. In my opinion, that would be a good best practice for the company. If they implemented those changes, I would use them in the future. If not, probably not.

I appreciated the confirmation calls ahead of my service date. Julian was a good worker, very polite and professional. I needed a “heads up” call to let me know that he was running late. I would use him again.

Very good considering they didn't tell the driver the treadmill was in the basement so my husband had to help. I paid extra for that extra help and they didn't tell him that either. I hope they pay him for all of the work including the extra fee which had covered the help of another guy.

Would of given a 5 star but the guys show up in the rain with a personal pick up truck! When picking up furniture should be covered truck! Ours pick up a mattress and electrical adjustable bed frame. Luckily we packaged the mattress back in plastic and adjustable base in its shipping box. Other than that you have a outstanding notification status for pick up and confirmation via email. Guys were right on time fast professional had masks on to protect us and them. Great Job! Thank you for great service!

Let me say that Tony and Lee were great. They were professional, worked really hard on a very difficult moved and were able to complete the job. My only issue is the business model of the company. The idea is great, but execution isn't there yet. If you have movers that are running behind because they are busy at a job, it should not be on them to communicate their status. Whenever I deal with contractors that give windows of time, there is usually a reception that communicates how close they are to the schedule. In this case there wasn't any communication until I was able to talk to the movers. This could have easily been handled earlier on by a receptionist. Just an idea, but overall I was happy with how everything turned out.

Rating would have been five stars except for the fact that I waited for four hours in the time window stated, and they weren’t going to get here for an hour and a half after that. However, they came again the following morning.
