Warning, stay away. Our company booked a long term rental for a working tour (5 weeks). We booked online - they were very quick and happy to take the money (about £1.1k) We completed the pre-pickup online check-in successfully. Once we arrived, the CS representative did not have our details (30' wasted the day before). Furthermore, since we did not have a credit card in the drivers' name, we were charged an extortionate £621 EXTRA (55% more than we expected), to then lower our deposit and use a Debit Card. I would like to add that we've rented cars regularly at SIXT, Enterprise, Europecar, Hertz and Avis - never once, in the UK, we needed a credit card. We've always used our Business Debit card. Terrible experience, will NEVER book again, just sharing this as a word of warning for other customers.

This is my first time dealing with your company and it won’t be the last because of what I experienced throughout all stages from customer service until refund. I just want to ask you to restudy the prices to encourage more customers. Wishing you the best

Absolutely disgusting treatment. Customer service appalling, a family of 4, 2 small children, we were in the rental office over 2 hrs, we had a booking which I paid for on a credit card, my husband the main driver. He brought a debit card but this wasn’t accepted for a deposit. They refused to put myself as the lead driver and use my credit card, I phoned the third party easy jet to ask to change the booking, they said they were happy for green motion to change the name. They still refused. It ended with them not renting to us, I lost my money and booked through enterprise rent a car. Done within 10 minutes, better car, better customer service and cheaper!! The manager at Edinburgh airport at green motion was possibly one of the rudest people I’ve ever dealt with (even my five year old said that) avoid this company like the plague!!!!I will be taking this further to get my money back, even the legal route if necessary!

My rental experience in September 2022 with Green Motion at Heathrow was overall excellent. Customer service on pick-up and return was quick, friendly and helpful and there were no issues with payment, deposits, etc. I would definitely recommend GM and will use them again.

Price was OK. Between the bus wait & the wait for the car process, it took longer to get the car than the flight from Portugal.

My only issue is having to wait for a bus for the pick up/return to the office. Depending on when you get to the bus terminal you could be waiting half an hour with 40+ people in front of you. This means a line of people getting cars..it took me longer to get the car than my actual flight from Portugal.

I booked and paid 100 euro for my car two weeks before I arrivedat luton .i then paid paid an extra 125 pounds for Insurance and another 50 pouds which I was told would be refunded ,it has be 1 month now and I havnt been refunded the 50 pound I traveled from the 19th sep to the 21st sep Jennie

Booked via options with Easyjet, Everything went smoothly, shuttle pick up was within about 20 minutes. It’s a very short 2 minute drive to the GM pick up/drop off, easily walkable. The office is nice and welcoming, location industrial park amongst plumber and tile merchant so busy enough. Car was upgraded so pleased with that. Thought fuelling policy was a bit odd in so far you return with what was in it when you got it, so mine was just under half full. Take a screen shot of the levels / odometer when pick up/return. Likewise take pictures of the car before you leave…would I use them again? Most definitely when comparing with other hire firms and particularly on price and friendly service which was 10/10. Happily recommending

Excellent service both on pickup and return. The young lady,went to a lot of trouble sorting out an issue that took some time and wasn’t even a company problem . I would not hesitate recommend and use this company in the future .
