Horrible Customer Service - Not worth the risk! Due to COVID-19 two of the merchants I purchased vouchers from closed. They told me to get my money back from Groupon. When I asked for a refund from Groupon they would only give me my money back in Groupon credits. They stated it's because: 'While we understand that many merchants have temporarily closed, we want to show them that our customers will be there when they reopen.' Basically they are saying they are supporting their merchants over customers but the merchants I booked with aren't getting any of the money anyway. Also Groupon cannot just decide to do this - this is against there own terms and conditions (where they have to give you a refund in the original payment form if you cannot redeem your voucher) and is ILLEGAL because they are refusing to refund me for a service I paid for but cannot receive! They seem to think the Sales of Goods and Consumer Rights acts do not apply to them! I have had several live chats with them and they have not given me a valid reason why I cannot get my money back and they just keep closing the chats! I am now having to go to the consumer ombudsman to try and get my money back! You can get some good deals with them but I would honestly say it is not worth the risk if something goes wrong!

I have used groupon for a few years now and have always been happy with my purchases. However just before the lockdown I could not order , the purchases would not go through . I got in touch with them they offered me a few solutions one of which did the trick .i was very happy with there customer service as they seemed genuinely concerned about my issues with the order.

Prepared to wait a bit longer for oders to arrive. The last orders did not arrive and I had to insist on refunds and against my better judgment I ordered something else. My latest order still has not arrived. Hermes says it is waiting to receive the order.

If I could give a -10 for customer service I would .I purchased a voucher for flowers and instead of $32.00 they charged my cc $78.00 plus the $15.00 for the Groupon voucher.When I called Groupon they said they would take care of it .So they gave me a $3.00 coupon .Wtf really You can keep your coupon.Will never buy from them again. There are alot more sites out there I can buy from.

My delivery of face masks is missing all attempts to contact groupon have failed,says my order is wrong ,says my log in details are incorrect, cannot access live chat ,etc etc etc, come on groupon sort yourselves out you have taken my money and I would like my order please,

Just a word of advise for anyone thinking of ever buying a bed from Groupon Dont. It will turn up with missing parts which they will refuse to replace and leave you sleeping on the floor.. but dont worry because they will offer you £60 credit with them for £250 bed 😂 or a refund that they cant process because they won't accept returns and wont refund it till they get it back. absolute joke of a company.

I purchased a non refundable voucher to stay at hilton Hotel on 03.4.20. I purchased using my debit card on 27.01.20. Due to covid19 I rang groupon on 25.03.20 to query if my booking was still OK. They said they didn't kno & i should ring the hotel myself to check? Although the hilton is there partner not mine. I rang the hotel and they stated THEY would be cancelling my stay due to covid 19 and to call groupon 4 a refund. I rang groupon and explained all of this but they asked for proof. I rang back the hilton 2 get proof but they said they couldn't give me this info due to data protction as groupon had never given them my personal details but as they were partners groupon could call them and they would authorise a refund. Groupon never called them and offered me credits numorous times even though I sent them a screenshot from hiltons website CONFIRMING all hotel bookings including non refundable were to be refunded WITHIN 30 DAYS. They never paid me back my money so I took up a case with paypal and my bank. Paypal refused my claim with no reason y but my bank refunded me my money. Thank goodness for great banks( HSBC) who listen and take claims seriously.although I should have been covered by the money back guarantee.

I give Groupon 0 🌟 I ordered £800 worth of garden furniture on the 11th April it is now the 4th of June and it hasn't arrived. They have only sent automatic response anytime I have tried to get in touch. At one point they tried to say that I had received my order. I have been made false promises that the furniture will arrive by certain dates then it doesn’t arrive. I was heavily pregnant throughout this causing my stress I dident need and I now have a newborn baby, no furniture to sit outside and they are telling me the product is sold out I can get a credit note no refund of my money back. I am absolutely appalled and disgusted it is daylight robbery.

I purchased coupons for Yoga and created an account with the studio. Then COVID occurred. The studio will no longer honor the coupons and Groupon will not refund the amount paid, but rather have issued "goupon bucks" which are of no use to me. They have used the COVID crisis to STEAL people's money

Not even one, they should get -5 stars!! The company extends the length of validity of vouchers or provides Groupon credits as refunds so you can have a good look at the money you won't ever get back, but ignores completely your request when you explain that you've lost your job due to Covid-19 and need to feed yourself before you can think about hair removal! They want to 'support businesses that work with them' but fail to realise that nobody will be left to buy darn coupons if they leave their customers to starve when they need help the most! I've had agents send 2 or 3 automatic answers (saying they're sorry for the inconvenience) in a row then leave the chat on me, I've sent an email which was ignored for 10 days then wrote a second one and same thing! Horrible people! Do not give a penny to support a business that watches you starve while flaunting your own money at you without lifting a finger to help you feed yourself with your own damn money!!

I purchased 3 concert tickets in February, for a concert in September. I paid In full, with a Credit Card. Groupon Cancelled the event on May 26. I DID NOT CANCEL THIS !!! GROUPON DID !!! They would NOT refund my money, only issuing “Groupon Credits” to only be used ONLY on Groupon ! Groupon has proven to be VERY unreliable. I never know what, or IF I will receive what I think I am ordering . For this reason, I NO LONGER want to do ANY business with Groupon. I want my money refunded to my credit card, so I can use it to do business with a reputable company instead of Groupon.

Do not purchase concert tickets from Groupon. When the concert is cancelled and not rescheduled, they will not refund your payment. The only option is to get Groupon bucks.. The service I purchased was not provided and I should not be forced to purchase something else. You should receive the refund in the same payment form when the tickets were purchased. To force a customer to purchase something else from your site is poor customer service.

I cancelled before deadline, you guys still charged me for hotel tjat i didnt go too and rooms that were not reserved, you guys are crooks, 1600 dollars for a hotel i couldnt visit in new york because of corona virus... im going to tell everyone who will listen

I ordered concert tickets through Groupon back in January. It was announced on Friday that the concert was cancelled. Instead of refunding back to the card used to purchase the ticket THEY GAVE ME A GROUPON CREDIT!! They will not refund to your original form of payment. STAY FAR AWAY FROM GROUPON!!

SCAM! I ordered a product through Groupon that was never delivered. I continuously asked Groupon what the status of my order was, but all they would tell me was that it was more than a month beyond the delivery window the company had promised. Still no product. When I finally requested a refund from Groupon, they agreed only to give me "Groupon bucks," rather than a refund for the product I never received. BUYER BEWARE!!

DO NOT USE GROUPON! This is a scam! On purchasing a product I was not given the opportunity to select the size and colour of the items I wanted. The product was sent to me - but of course, it is useless because it doesn't fit. The only response from customer support is "Groupon Goods are final sale and can't be returned or refunded unless the item is incorrect or damaged". This is a rip off. Beware of this company!

When Groupon deals go through as expected, it's great. Saving money is always awesome, while supporting local businesses. But when there is an issue, dealing with Groupon customer support is the absolute worse, and I'd rather gouge my eyes out with a dull plastic fork than deal with the "Customer Support" team. Had a concert cancelled and it's within their own terms of service that the purchaser *me* will be refunded if the event is cancelled by the merchant, and now they want to issue me $70 in GROUPONBUCKS and not refund it to my original method of payment; which is NOT what's outlined within their own terms of use and their Extraordinary Event Policy*. I am BEYOND infuriated with Groupon, and feel bad for the thousands of others who are going to have to deal with this same situation because of a cancelled event. No I don't want nor need $70 in GROUPON bucks. If it was $20 or something I'd deal with it, but $70 worth of GROUPON money is ridiculous and unacceptable. I'm not asking for a refund because I can't go to this show, this show was CANCELLED due to COVID19. How about you stop trying to scam people and follow your OWN TERMS of service/use and refund people accordingly. I can't wait to see some class action lawsuits against Groupon, because you deserve it for trying to scam and rip people off!!!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I was told that I would be reimbursed for my $700 trip that was cancelled due to Covid-19. I was told for over 2 weeks that they would reimburse me my money back. Then after waiting over 2 weeks, they changed their tone and paid me $700 in Groupon Bucks. I am very mad and sad. I used to like Groupon. I thought they would understand.. I save up for over a year to take my kids on a trip. I am a single mother of 4 and feel as if they took my life savings from me and laughed about it. If you rely on any money, go through the actual hotel. They have more of a heart and are more sympathetic. I'm screwed and they do not care. On top of that, I bought this before the pandemic and it could mean less to them. Just MORE money in their pockets and who cares if I struggle. At least they got paid.

Will NEVER order from Groupon again. I have been chasing my order for three weeks now. I cant even speak to a customer service person to find out where my order even is? I just want my money back now as it was for my daughters birthday two weeks ago (order was placed Mid April)!!!!!

I was inquiring about my order thats now 2 weeks late, the gmperson live chat felt more like a bot with repeating the same answers and flat out ignoring my questions. After i told him my issue over 3 times he just disconnected and ended the chat. Absolutely disgusting service, if knew this company i wouldnt have ordered from them, and definitelt will never order again
