Waited 5 months for a gutter cleaning that never happened. BEWARE Groupon only provides a guarantee for 3 days for local services.

NEVER trust groupon with anything related to travel. I purchased a groupon for a hotel stay two weeks ago. They just CANCELLED my stay without informing me, and sent me an email that they refunded my credit card because they published the incorrect rates. I already purchased a rental car, I already have family meeting me there for my birthday and now I am not sure what to do. The worst part is I went back to the groupon to see how much the price went up, and the rate increased from $86 per night to $377 per night. For all of you looking to buy a vacation through groupon, imagine purchasing your family vacation, planning it, taking off work, only to find out that they decided to cancel your vacation on you two weeks later. It would leave you between spending a lot more money to go on the same trip you already priced out or doing nothing. BUYER BEWARE!

Groupon canceled my hotel when they wrote the wrong price. More than a week after I purchased it and made other plans. HORRIBLE SERVICE

I ordered an item thru Groupon and it was set to be delivered the next week. As soon as the item got to my city, instead of delivering it to my house they delivered it (with VERY late notice) to one of the post offices in my city (have no idea which one). There was no delivery attempt (My husband was home by the way). So, there was no ticket on the door or anything. I got home at 8pm, at which time I got a text saying, "unable to deliver??" I open the text and got Fed Ex message saying in red, "P.O. Box package available for pickup at local post office???" WHAT THE HECK ARE THEY TAKING ABOUT!!! I don't even own a P.O. Box, so why couldn't they deliver it??? I contact Fed Ex only to find that it was the Groupon seller that requested this. I have absolutely no idea why. By the way at the time I am writing this I still have no idea which post office it was sent to and will likely have to wait until the weekend to go get it since they close before I can get out of work. And somehow the Fed Ex rep doesn't even know which post office location "They" sent it to. That doesn't even make sense!!! So, now I have to call the post office's 800# so they can find out which one it got sent to. What is really going to tick me off...is if it's the post office literally 1 minute from my house, they may as well have delivered it to me and not the post office. I am HEATED!!!!

Saved $$ on hair appt but they gave me a trainee who was terrible !!! So had to go somewhere else to get it right. Ended up costing me double.

AVOID these Scammers. If anything goes wrong with the delivery of your package Groupon are useless and tell you they take up to 10 working days to reply back - Website claims parcel delivered despite couriers showing the parcel is stuck at the depot - Parcel is now 9 days overdue - Support chat cut you off in the middle of a live chat: J: i dont want the parcel anymore. it far too long. I just want a refund Dhivya A.M: I will pass this issue into priority Dhivya A.M: Until then I'd request your patience Dhivya A.M: Thank you for choosing Groupon. Have a wonderful day ahead. The purchase is now 8 days late and they want another 10 working days to get back to me. On top of this they will not refund me Terrible way of doing business and really poor customer service

I signed up for Groupon years ago, and used to get good offers on restaurants, for the most part. Now I get a few emails a day. I've found some of their "discount" offers attractive, but when I research a little, I find that I can get the item I'm interested for less on another web site. Last week I ordered "Premium Bamboo Sheets" because here was a deal that was actually a money-saver. They arrived over the weekend, but they were polyester instead. I contacted the seller and they offered a return and a refund, but not the bamboo sheets. I contacted Groupon and they said they couldn't do anything because it's a "third-party merchant." Meanwhile, the offer is still on Groupon, despite the fact that the merchant knows it's a fraudulent offer. And the price I paid for the sheets is, as usual, no deal for polyester sheets.

Buyer beware, Groupon fraudulently presented this deal! The movie tickets were real but there was no 100 dollar gift card, it was only coupons like $10 off a purchase of $25. This is not what was advertised and they refuse to refund. Social media and BBB are my only forums as an average Joe to get my message out. Please think twice before doing business with Groupon, thank you!

My daughter bought me a Groupon for Christmas for an exercise class. I signed up, got confirmation, got notice 1 hour before the class saying to be there 15 minutes early. I waited for 30 minutes and the instructor never showed up. My daugher contacted Groupon and they would not reimburse her. I called the company that the Groupon was purchased from FOUR times with no response. You cannot get in touch with Groupon easily and they are not as focused on customer service as they once were. I am DONE WITH GROUPON!

Bought a sams club membership through Groupon that comes with a $10 gift card. It took six weeks to get the voucher and i never got the gift card, paid with PayPal credit thats the worst thing you can do. Groupon is nothing but a big scam.

My daughter and son-in-law had purchased a Groupon for my husband and myself, as a gift last Christmas, 2016. It was for a dolphin sightseeing tour in St. Augustine, FL, and expired 12/31/17. I was going to book a tour after returning from a cruise on 12/4/17. But when I pulled up the Groupon, it was saying it was Redeemed on 12/1/17 at 6 something PM. Well, at that day and time, we were out to sea on the cruise. I had never marked it Redeemed. Multiple emails back and forth to Groupon, even mentioning that my daughter had purchased it, and no resolution was made. They continued to say that I had "Redeemed" the Groupon, which I never did! With only a few days remaining on this Groupon, they told me that my daughter needed to email them, since she was the one who purchased it. She did, and still nothing! Two days before expiration, I received an email, addressed to my daughter, who has her own email, with which she emailed them from. They cancelled that Groupon and said that they are refunding her in Groupon Bucks, but not the total price that she had paid. I had to forward the email to her, since they never contacted her. I'm so angry with them and will never buy another Groupon again!!!! Their customer service STINKS!!!

The Groupon coupon I paid for was not honored. Groupon explained I would receive credit for amount paid (which I was), plus the amount for the difference due to the embarrassment it put me in when it came time to pay vendor. I was to receive entire amount of coupon. I should have known better! I was taken. I cannot trust Groupon or their representatives.

Countless emails back and forth to get a return label for an item that was supposed to be delivered within 2 days it got here after 7 days and the wrong color. They are keep forwarding me to 3rd party!!! They have the same items on amazon and no headaches. I am done with Groupon.

Due to the fact that I recently relocated and was unable to use a Groupon, I asked for a refund. I was informed that I would not get one and that I could just give my groupon to someone else. Instead of just giving me Groupon Bucks, which I would most definitely use and than some, they have decided that losing a customer is more important to them. I will buy products and activities via Travelzoo now!

As I went to leave the Park 'N Fly using my groupon I was informed that it was already used...in the prior month! Not possible. I have tried for 3 days to contact groupon and all attempts have failed. No phone number. No operator available to chat with. No active "send" button on the groupon site to email my complaint. I'm very disappointed. Very poor customer support services.

Two ceramic items were shipped in an oversized box with nothing but 2 loose, thin sheets of bubble wrap. The box has NOTHING on it indicating that there were fragile items inside. The package delivered with both items broken and shattered. There is no customer service. Takes 2-3 weeks to get a refund AFTER they receive the returned items, IF you can even get ahold of them.

Customer service sucks: Group discontinued phone and chat interfaces and email responsiveness is less than zero. Very frustrating.
