Ordered online that was great but the wait to pick up the part was outrageous 30mins this is not a good

I was happy that the brake pads I wanted were available based on my registration. Unfortunately when I took the parts to the garage to be fitted we found out that they were the wrong parts. My local mechanic was quite understanding and did not charge me for replacing the old brakes. I then went back to GSF who looked at the parts and agreed that they were wrong. But when entering the registration again the wrong parts cam up again. A total waste of time. I should have just gone to my mechanic direct and got him to order from his supplier.

The full gasket set for a type 1 beetle engine I ordered is not the same as the photo on the website so the only seal I needed, main crank seal, wasn’t in the set.

Ordered collected and paid for wheel bearing but not given extra advise that we needed for the extra part required to go on driveshaft which delayed fitment by technician

The staff very good. But waiting time was unacceptable. There was 2 person in front of me when I arrived. It took more than 20 minutes for my turn. Regards

Reserved for collection an oil filter, air filter, sump plug and washer and a 5 litres of oil, when collecting was told "sorry we don't have the air filter even though its showing in stock and you will have to return tomorrow after 1130 to collect it" and when I opened the box containing the sump plug and washer the washer was missing. All in all not a good impression to be honest even though the prices were excellent service clearly comes low down the order, but the staff were apologetic and very polite.

Ordered 4 service parts for my Citroen C4 from Letchworth shop. I went to fit the air filter that same day and was too big. Went back to the shop, the wrong part was given to me, the assistant had read the part number wrong upon visiting the store room. I had a mechanic booked in for Saturday to change oil, upon draining found the wrong oil filter had been issued. This caused me no end of problems over the weekend and was without a vehicle until Monday which I was forced to take off work. I wouldn't have minded so much but it wasn't the website that gave the wrong part number, it was the member of staff simply fetched a completely different part number to what was on the order form. On Monday a different member of staff apologised over the phone in a good sincere manner. But nothing in the way of refund or compensation was offered for my wasted weekend and fuel cost driving backwards and forwards from Stevenage to collect the right part. Luckily the mechanic was sympathetic to me and didn't charge me an extra call out charge.

Ordered an item for collection the following day. Order was confirmed, email was received stating part was available for collection. Drove to the other end of Leeds to collect. Money was taken but then they couldn't find the part. After a load of fannying around was told they could get it from Huddersfield in about an hour. Elected to take my money back . Clearly there is a stock control problem and I was not impressed. Ironically on leaving I noticed a Wilko Motorsave across the road and called in on "the off chance". Guess what they had the item I needed at the same price, so bit of a result and saved a wasted journey.

GSF provide great offers from time to time, and quick to ship goods. But when it comes to returns for online purchases, they are not as quick to respond. Telephone lines never answer, are on recorded messages, and when the counter service is contacted, they are rude. Only one way street. sent me an incorrect product on online sale, had to return at my cost and not yet received a refund. This does not comply with trading standards, or Sale of Goods Act.

I have ordered 2 parts from GSF over the last 6-12 months. On both occasions a completely different part has arrived. The first time I was told I had to make a 40 minute drive to Heathrow to exchange my wrong item, the second time they agreed to post the correct item out to me. I would suggest you avoid GSF, unless you’re a fan of the lucky dip service they seem to offer.

Ordered service parts and cabin filter came as incorrect unit. Tried to get filter exchanged at a local GSF, but was told, nothing to do with them, I would have to contact online GSF and get a replacement posted. Not happy at all as the car was waiting to be returned to customer. I had to buy another cabin filter at the local GSF and pay another £12 to finish and return car. I expected local GSF to exchange and I pay any extra, but they act as if they are a different company altogether

Ordered engine mount went to gsf in luton wasnignored by counter staff for 5 minutes then was told I should have made him aware when he was standing in feint of me singing songs. Was given wrong part then told was my fault because I should have checked before leaving. Went back to get correct part told me none in stock. Complete waste of time.. Stick to euro car parts

Sorry to say my recent experience was aweful, GSF were saved by the lady on the front desk at the Derby banch. I placed the order online, I received an email to say collect, so next day I went to the branch and only 1/2 my order was ready. I had to make a second visit to get the remainder.

Delivery was fine and items were well packaged, however, one of the wiper blades I ordered based on the eligible ones it provided from my license plate was the completely wrong fitting and was only suitable for the older model of my car so basically completely useless to me. I feel like the site needs to be double checked to ensure the parts it is suggesting based on your car model (from the license plate) are correct and applicable. Probably won't use again because I have little faith that they will get it correct next time.

Usually good service but last order was miss picked and I didn’t get an oil filter instead I received an bc air filter that didn’t fit my van, currently awaiting a credit..

Discount is given when you buy online 5 litres for £26 but 1 litre in store cost £12. this is complete rip-off and unacceptable. again, i was informed its next day delivery ; i bought item saturday , it was not delivered on sunday or monday but tuesday 3pm. so next day delivery was to deceive customers?
