Could not apply discount in store, had to order online at the counter?!? Work that one out???

Very quick delivery, but when I used the online chat, the guy I spoke to was worse than useless. I had and issue at the checkout and he said " we don't deliver to the Isle of Man" I replied and said " I know plenty of people on the I Island have had parts. All I actually had to do, was opt to pay £19.95 delivery and it worked. I ordered at 10am and got parts next day, so maybe you could educate the on line chat people about this as he was very unhelpful with me. Apart from that, it was a very quick delivery. Ps the 3* is because of the online chat. Thanks Frank

Sent the wrong battery told we could take back to Lincoln depot and pay difference for the right one. (We live near Cleethorpes) Lincoln at first said we couldn’t leave it with them. We couldn’t pay difference had to buy another and get a refund on the wrong one from head office so still waiting for that

Ordered several parts(complete cat/lambda's/gaskets etc) on Sunday.Auto reply stated collection from Wed-morning.On Wednesday..none of items were available against order number.Local staff had to overnight all parts again.Never had any problems like this before at Heathrow. Luckily car running on temp-repair no not a massive issue..

Had to get a twin fan for my vw Touran but the online showed a twin fan for around £80 reserved it and arrived to collect but on the store system showed a single fan so had to cancel that order then had to place another reserved for the twin fan and correct parts numbers but had to pay £152 which was very upsetting to have to pay that much close to Christmas but It had to he done

Ordered parts online, turned up and they were wrong, telephoned Birmingham and the phone was answered by an unhelpful rude person, went to my local store in Cardiff who were very helpful, would never order online again and certainly wouldn't use Birmingham branch

parts where acceptable, didnt have the ones on the website in stock at my local gmf (local gsf has closed). waited forever to get served as all staff too busy on the phones to serve customers, finally got the parts. only plus side i see was i had a discount code online that saved me a few quid

Most items arrived in a few days, very well packaged and care taken with delicate items, such as pollen filters, oil came in a sealed bag which was a nice touch. Quite impressed. However ordered two front wiper blades , and a rear one , ended up with two front ones of the same size and one other front one. Rang my local branch and they wouldn't do a swap, the best the could do was to sell me another blade and arrange a refund from the online part of the business, didn't bother visiting branch and took the loss on the chin, for that reason would only order parts that can't get missed up on picking, I.e oil , filters etc.

Every time I visit the store you can see few people inside but they are all busy with their delivery orders and the customers are just neglected. You always wait for quite long time before someone attends you. I guess the customers inside the store are more important than any other thing .

It was really easy to reserve my order and collect it the next day so i cannot fault the turn around and initial service. However the car battery i recieved was damaged which i didn't notice till i got home which meant emails back and forth and a second visit to store to get a replacement.

Whereas the online shop was a very good experience, the experience in a shop was very disappointing. I had to order another part and was firstly told that I wouldn’t be able to swap the item, then that the price would be doubled as they couldn’t match the same price as per the website which the shopkeeper said was a ridiculous thing. Thirdly he said that I was better to post the item through the post office than through the shop as there was no guarantee the part would get back to you through the shop!! This is a ridiculous state of affairs. You should offer the same deal in the shop as online. Anything else is providing poor service to your customers.

Box arrived damaged (very flimsy cardboard) one item missing most probs fallen out! But GSF rectified it & sent another on out straight away fair play!

Prices were great but was clear on needing to buy back and front wipers. Looks like I had until I went to collect. Would say the Reading team were very helpful and sorted me straight away!

Wipers were the wrong type, listed on website. On the box was the correct model year for the wipers but not for my car. When I took the wipers back to get a replacement which were more expensive the shop said I’d have to place an online order so they could match the online price of the more expensive items, they could not offer the price in store. Also the NGX spark plugs listed for my car caused a misfire and MOT failure so ended up purchasing others direct from dealer to get my MOT, the dealer said it was a known issue with NGX and minis. But they were helpful in the store and the prices are good.

I bought a battery for my wife's Honda CRV, this was a black Friday deal and great value at £65.I went to my local GSF and showed them the deal. To my utter amazement they said I had to order it online then come back to collect it in 15 mins as they couldn't honour the Black Friday price without an online order. So great price - but a shame that I couldn't just go in and collect off the shelf

No complaints with the product although the £3.95 delivery was 25 percent of the total purchase price and took five days to arrive.

Wasnt that great, spent over 10 minutes looking for my order, kept going on different computers so in the end had to do it manually, how can an order go missing? Then all I get after that is emails saying I havent picked up my order then another one saying its cancelled!
