Although I have previously purchased from GSF Castle Vale for over 3 years, and have been very satisfied with quality and price (when purchasing using your weekly discount codes, via email flyers that I used to receive) for whatever reason you (GSF) have stopped sending me these discount flyers. I have attempted on several occasions to resurrect this, by contacting your helpline, each time I have been assured (fobbed off) that my email flyer discounts would be resumed, They have not. I have even re-joined GSF as trade, and have given another email for point of contact. This has also failed to provide me with weekly discount codes, via email flyers Hence a 'POOR' rating here...........

My local GSF car parts I use is the one situated in Norwich on Mile Cross Road. Everytime I go in there the staff are helpful, friendly and all round nice people and a pleasure to deal with. There is a young chap who works behind the counter who is always particularly helpful and is a really decent guy. The issue I have had is when I placed an order for delivery online rather than a collection. I ordered the parts on wed 17/10 expecting them to be delivered Friday or at least to have heard from yourselves. I left it until Friday afternoon and I emailed your helpline to find out what was going on as all i had was a confirmation of my order but nothing else. I get a reply within the hour saying they thought the order was fraudulent and cancelled my order, this is despite taking the £100 out of my account on the Wednesday and not contacting me first to notify my of the issue. I then call the helpline Friday afternoon as I wanted an explanation, to be spoken to by a very rude individual who had no sympathy for my situation bearing in mind I needed these parts and I hadn’t had a refund. All I got was excuses and a poor attitude, I believe I got through to your central hub which sounded like the midlands i assume. All in all I was not best pleased with the way I was left out of pocket and treated like it was my fault. All I can say is, I can not praise the Norwich branch enough for there friendliness and assistance for a long time but I will not be using The delivery online again as I do not wish to fall victim to this issue again

Service was good as normal but parts were incorrect (both fitted the car but didn’t fit each other). New parts then needed ordering.

I clicked and reserved two items. When I went the collect them I was the only person in the shop but the girl behind the counter acted like I was keeping her from something else. After a brief look at a few of the shelves she told me my parts weren’t there and shed would have to order them. I explained that it said they were in stock on your website and she them went to another part of the shop where they miraculously turned up. I found her a little rude and it has made me think about using Euro parts in the future.

Ordered some headlamp bulbs, a fan-belt and a warning triangle for a golf. Warning triangle hasn't turned up, fanbelt was the wrong item, and only one bulb arrived. The last item was probably my fault for not checking that I had ordered the correct number of items, but still - not great.

Good price. Satisfying quality of the product. Only 2 because product was not eligible for delivery. I had to pick it up from branch and spent half hour there. A lot of people in queueing and only one person from staff available. They should work on that.

Constantly poor customer service at both Sheffield and Leeds branches. After a couple of years of using the company I shall now be taking business elsewhere. Poor service can't be compensated for by average pricing.

I ordered a rear stub axle and a wheel bearing kit to replace some damaged parts on my Volkswagon 1.4L polo 1999. I rang to ask if the Hub nut came with the wheel bearing kit. They confirmed it did. I then rang again later that day, asking them to check inside the box to see it if was sold with the kit. They confirmed it did. When it arrived there was no Hub nut. I range back and I was told that I had been miss informed by a member of their staff. Not impressed with the effort. The Hub nut was a very important part that I needed, as it holds on the entire wheel of my car.

I am sorry but very disappointed. Ordered in tank fuel filter for my Honda. Before placing order I checked picture on your website, and yes :) finally found it (couldn’t find it on any other retailer) brand new, white top part of fuel pump. So placed an order. I had to drive 1hr each way to collect it. It was 9am, gentleman at shop took my reference number and brought me my part. I have paid for it but before I left shop I opened the box. There was completely different part than one on your website. I have asked seller if he is sure, he gave me my item I had ordered. Straight away he started being rude, and angrily said I have what I ordered, after 10 minutes I was already really upset, I had to find the part on my mobile on your website and show it to your cashier. It was completely different part, finally he said “fine I will refund it to you” no sorry or anything. Really bad bad experience. Given two stars only because on my previous purchase everything was ok, otherwise would give 1 star.

I am a member of the public. I ordered a Yuasa Car Battery online for collection at the Reading store. When I arrived I was told that the battery was not "on the shelf" and may have been taken by the AA but not booked out? No apology was made and it felt like I was an inconvenience to them. Customer service was truly lacking. I eventually got their own make battery and left as soon as I could. I'll only use GSF in an emergency.

Wasn’t till my friend was about to fit the part he noticed I was given the right part for the wrong car (but the other part was correct). Couldn’t take it back as a Sunday & needs a part off it too. So out of pocket as had to buy the correct part from else where & unable to take it back.

I use GSF regularly so it was expecting to receive good service again, plus with 60% off too. However on this occasion my full order was sent to the wrong address but GSF did finally put it right. What frustrates me is GSF asked ME to chase Parcel Force !! correct me if I'm wrong but should it not be the sender who finds out what the issue is ? After I found out GSF put the wrong address and told them.......... they asked me to go to the other address to get it. For the inconvenience I asked for reorder with next day, and was told that's fine, however it wasn't sent next day......but I did get my parcel to the right address this time.

good price but unfortunately having searched for parts using reg number received incorrect spark plugs and had to return. advise others to order specific parts not rely on vehicle details.

after chatting on the GSF website with an advisor I ordered a set of front pads and received a good discount. When I went to the store in Belfast to collect them the sales assistant told me they were the wrong fitment and I had to buy the proper set which cost me an extra £17. Very disappointing and to be honest I won’t be ordering again from GSF.

the web tool to select parts from car registration did not deliver the items needed for that car. I had to return it!! as it was not the correct part at all for that year.
