Sort of average to poor - I ordered a couple of brake hoses and was disappointed to discover that one of them had already been out of the bag, found not to be correct and resold. In addition to being covered in oily fingermarks, the bag had not been re-sealed. One hose was a nice branded quality name - Bendix - the other (opened one) was some make I had never heard of. I had ordered premium quality parts. My local GSF shop is great but I will think twice before ordering online again.

I received a promotion offering 33% off. On that basis I placed an order, but the only discount code that was accepted was GSF25 - which gave a 20% discount. I then needed more components and despite the code still being there on the website it was not accepted. I used your on-line chat facility to ask why and the answer was it was only available on parts on the list. I said that wasn't clear - the banner said "on service parts" - which these certainly were. I'm not happy - I feel I've been cheated What are you prepared to do? This will be on your FB feed too.

Hi, The discount code for the 33% is given in the promotional email. As stated the GSF25 code provides you with 25% off the services items outlined in the banner title. The Banner does list what is covered and also states exclusions apply. General service items are covered, 'Major' service items are excluded. Thanks Matt.

Purchased oil through click and collect.went to collect it the next day,only to be told they could not find it could i come back monday! Could have phoned me to save a wasted journey.

Got parts eventually! Ordered online for collection on a Saturday, all products showing in so went to collect and parts not there. Very disappointed as only had that day to do repairs. Told it would be ready on Monday, went back Monday still not there and staff didn't know anything about it!!!! Finally told be ready next day but couldn't collect till Wednesday so got told l would have to pay for it as it would go back on system after 24 hrs, which in my working out Tuesday to Wednesday is 24hrs?? Think they need to sort online system out to work better for customer Service!

Ordered 2 headlight bulbs online with click and collect next day in stock. On collection only one was in stock had to return next day to collect. Not too impressed.

Brake discs didn't match the part number. I've returned them but haven't heard a thing since. You haven't sent the correct replacements or told me what is happening

Despite ordering online and entering my car registration to ensure that I received the correct brake discs for my car, when I collected them from the shop I was sent away with a set of brakes too large for my car.

I tried to use a weekend discount but the system didn´t allow me. I raised the order then then contacted customer services and they told me that they couldn't modify the order but no one asked me if I wanted to keep it as it was. Then the next weekend I can see a similar discount. For me all this process was quite unfair. Many thanks

Hi, Thanks for your review. The discount codes must be used at the checkout process and cannot be applied to the order once placed. Due to the level of discounts we offer, unfortunately this isn't something we can manually override due to it being an automatic system. Please keep an eye out for offers we run in the future. Delivery was quick. But thats about the only good thing. I ordered an exhaust backbox frm you. It came hanging out of a box which was clearly too small. Dented and scratched on the 80% that wasnt even packaged! Even the postman/delivery driver moaned and told me to complain. I know you pay for what you get, but at least package up the products. Will not be purchasing again

I purchased a n/s wing mirror for a Renault Modus. I gave registration number to ensure correct part! I am a driving instructor, so required working mirrors. Mirror arrived, had to fit, but, mirror was smaller, the wrong shape, and did not fold in with electrics! This is not the correct mirror for my car. I went to my local GSF retailer who told me that is the one they have for my car! On his computer screen, the picture for my car is correct, it then shows mirror dispatched, same reference number, but nothing like the correct one! I cannot return this item as it has been fitted! Very poor service and afte service! I now have to purchase the correct item from somewhere else, and have wasted time and money on this purchase, Very poor. Will ensure others know that the correct parts are replaced with incorrect parts if not stocked!!,

The online order process is good. When I arrived at the Feltham store to collect, there was a queue at the main counter, but nobody at the click&collect counter, where I waited to be served. I was ignored while the existing queue was served and new customers were being served. Eventually, I joined the queue for the main counter.

The order I placed was supposed to be from stock. I had the email to say that the order is ready for collection. I went along to collect the order only to find that the item was not available. No alternative was offered other than come back in a couple of days. Poor.

I ordered the part online for collection at the branch, when I arrived it wasn't in stock. Ended up having to buy another part instead and the branch wouldn't give me the 20% discount I had on my original order. All in all, pretty poor.

The Letchworth store didn't have the car shampoo in stock even though it was shown online. I was then given an alternative which was a rinse treatment and not a shampoo which I didn't spot until I got home, so I ended up with something I didn't require in the first place!

I did not purchase online, I tried and it came up as Collect from Kettering. This may have been my mistake as I was not aware that I had got as far as placing an order and as I live in Leicester not much good to me. This was on a Sunday, on the Monday I phoned Leicester to see if they had the parts and as they had asked for them to be saved for me. I phoned Kettering and explained and was told that it was not a problem and the order there would be cancelled. This did not happen and I have been pestered by two emails since saying that the parts are still been saved for me. Excellent service received from Leicester and with use of reward card cheaper than online.

Within 24 hours of ordering an air filter and a spark plus I emailed you back to ask if you would remove the plug form the order. And just send the air filter. This was confirmed. Then the next day I get another confirmation with the filter and the plug still on the order. I email again about this and once again get confirmation the plug has been deleted from the order. What happens order arrives with the plug I asked to pull from the order. Also I see on my bank statement you have deducted two card payments: 1) 17th October for £20.53. Then on 20th October for £11.89. So I have now had £32.42 pence in total taken out of my bank account. Can you see why I have rated you as "POOR" - and of course could have said Very Poor. I did ask twice to get that plug taken off. Instead you take two lots of money off me and still send me the plug

I was promised the part would reach me on Monday, I even offered to pay the extra to make sure but was assured it wasn't necessary. The part didn't turn up... I wasn't notified of the delay, I spent ages on online chat to web manager who told me he couldn't guarantee a meowing delivery, despite it already being a day late. He also wouldn't create a new order with morning delivery and accept the other back as a return as this was apparently not possible. I explained how my car being in pieces at the garage waiting for this part was costing me labour charges and nothing was offered as compensation or an apology. I finally got the part on the Tuesday afternoon, making it too late to fit that day. Won't be using GSF again

Turned up after driving 1.5 hours to collect the part and arrived ten minutes before shutting to find door locked and nobody answering even though they were stood behind the counter insisting they were shut. I offered to pay for item with cash so they didn't have to switch a machine on but it took the manager to open up. I left the premises at 5.28 still before closing time.
