I ordered a new Banner battery, this came flat and needed charging for 2 days in order to use.

I purchased an ignition switch for my 1997 Audi A4. There were two options, I checked the chassis number to confirm which part would be the correct one and ordered it. I also called your order line before picking the part up to make sure it was the correct one and was assured that it was. When I took out the old one, it was the wrong one! So I then had another one hour drive to change it! Hence I was not happy! The correct replacement part worked without issue.

I made an on-line order for a rear wiper arm for my Renault Kangoo. I received the wrong one which did not fit, the label showed that it was for a BMW. I have returned it for a refund.

I ordered on your website some w/screen wiper blades last Fridays for collection the next day ( Saturday). I could not find the box for the 35% discount anywhere on what I would term a very confusing Home page on your site. I therefore was going to be charged the full rate on collection at Kettering. I therefore phoned the lads at Kettering to explain the problem. As I am an occasional customer I was recognised and on Saturday itself they applied the discount - that was good Customer relations ( I was a consultant in that discipline prior to retirement. I have since received 2 emails from you saying a) I was late to honour the contract and the next day 2) as |I had not turned up you had cancelled the order. I had already sent you an email to explain what happened and have to date received no response to that message. Something is wrong somewhere with your follow-up procedures and also I do suggest that your Home page should be simplified - there is far too much on it. Regards Tim Clifton

Hi, Sorry you find our website hard to navigate, when you go through the checkout process you are asked to apply the discount on the basket screen. There is a large red box next to the 'Total Price', this is where discount codes should be entered. Order/Collection emails are automatically generated and will only stop if the store clear your order from the system or we are contacted. All our emails with order details and collection reminders are no reply email addresses. If you have contacted us via one of the addresses we have contacted you on, they are unmonitored. Got order on time but the order witch was needed for today was missing something and was not happy as the car is needed for Friday but know can not use it.

Hi, Sorry to hear about the error with you order, I can see the second item is on its way to you for pre-12 delivery. If this is no use to yourself, you have a branch less than a mile from you where the goods can be collected if it is urgent. Still waiting on some of the parts which have now been out for delivery with a cheap courier - only the parts that were sent by Parcelforce have arrived. Have to keep chasing from this end. Fairly unhelpful. While I understand Parcelforce won't carry some items, you shouldn't be selling them unless you make customers aware that delivery for those items will be via a budget courier.

Hi Andy, Thank you for your review, I apologise delivery has taken a little longer than expected. We actually pay more for our XDP courier service due to the nature/weight of the items we ship with them. I am unsure why delivery was delayed in this case but I have referred it to our courier contract manager. Thanks Matt - GSF Car Parts.

Sent me the wrong items even though I had used your online reg tool. Talking to one of your store employees stated that there were different applications for the parts which had not been advertised on the site. So allot of hassle and due to store not being able to refund items sold online it meant I had not been able to fix the car in time meaning I had to book more time off work.

From the information presented to me, this order was a click and collect placed on our website but paid in store. This means you need to speak to the branch for the refund, not the GSF Web Advisor's. Ordered a pair of Tailgate supports for a Volvo 245. Neither had the ball cup attached as shown on the website image, one fitted the other, a different make, was an inch longer and didn't fit. I've returned both and am awaiting a refund. Unacceptable.

I ordered discs and pads via the website for my car. However your website allows single discs to be ordered. They are supplied as pairs, they are boxed as pairs, nobody changes a single disc on a car so why sell them in such a way? I decided on click and collect from my local branch. I collected and paid for them and went on my way only to get a phone call 10mins later saying I'd made a mistake when ordering and I needed to go and pay for an additional disc. The way I was treated by the staff was as if I'd tried to do it on purpose to get away without paying for a disc. I was so annoyed by this I asked for a refund. If your website made sure people were aware they were only ordering one (euro car parts website does highlight this to you as it happens) then this situation would be less likely to happen. I was quite dissapointed by the way I was treated.

Hi, Thank you for your review, the GSF website does state: 'Special Order Information: Please order 2 for a pair' in red writing one every single disc we sell. The branches are instructed not to sell disc's as single units and you should have been notified prior to collecting the order. Hi. I reserved a whole load of parts online for click and collect and went to the heathrow branch to collect approx 3 hours after reserving and only to be told that the parts hadn't been picked as yet which was frustrating. Then when the gentleman picked the parts I was told that the brake discs I had reserved and was clearly told online were in stock were actually not in stock at all. This was even more frustrating as I had already arranged for a mechanic to carry the work out in my car and now no parts. In the end I had to settle for a cheaper version of the brake discs but dos not receive the same discount as I did online. Overall a very poor performance by gsf and to be honest the staff didn't really care about my situation.

Hi, I am sorry the click and collect procedure wasn't a smooth process. The branch should have called you to explain your order was ready for collection or to explain the stock issue with the discs you had reserved prior to you collecting the goods. I can only presume this did not happen due to the fact the branch did not pick the order before hand. I will forward this onto the Branch Manager. Thanks Matt - GSF Web Sales.

I was seen entering the shop by a female but it took a further 4 minutes before anybody acknowledged me,when I was served it was by a male who was happy to help me and thanked me for my purchase. If the product that I bought wasn't a necessity I would not have stayed. Customer service was 1 out of 10.

I am not totally satisfied with the customer service desk from the online purchase, where a customer wants to track an order and it takes forever to answer the phone. Up till now, I haven't been able to track my order. I think you should include a track your order portal on your website so your customers wouldn't need to speak to anybody, if they are not going to answer the phone.

Picked up pre-ordered parts assistant didn't have a glue in the end giving me the wrong items !! Then you keep sending me e-mails saying I haven't collected parts !! Very frustrating

Hi, Sorry you had an issue in store. The only way the reminder emails are sent is if the branch did not cancel the order. I can see the order has now been removed from the system. Store staff should only provide you with the parts ordered. If for any reason there was an issue with the ordering process, staff should be able to locate the correct items for you using the vehicle details. Thanks Matt - GSF Car Parts

Ordered 2 Brandix parts showing instock so paid and went to collect on next open day only to get a Brandix part and a standard part the staff said it was the same part number but it was not and I paid for the better brand, so he ordered the Brandix part for the next day so I had to travel another 20 miles to pick up the part that I paid for and that showed instock. Your system needs sorting out and your staff need to stop saying the part number is the same when it's not just to full the order.

I ordered 6 items online and used the weekend offer discount code of 33% off that I received by email. I received an email stating the items would be ready for collection in an 1 hour. I arrived at store some 2 hours later and was told that they had not received my order. Staff made a phone call which resulted in them telling me it there was a technical glitch and the order had not been passed to the store. How surprised was I to then be told that I would have to pay full price for the items if I still wanted them and that 1 of the items was actually out of stock. Shocking service to say the least. I decided to pass on their offer of paying full price and purchased the items at a competitor.
