Seems to be little concern for the customers at the Trafford Park branch. Standing in the showroom whilst other things seem more important like making cups of tea.

Website offered 20% discount for click and collect service but only took off 10% on the invoice. I asked for the correct discount to be applied when I picked up the goods but they refused. I still took the goods as I needed to get on with the job, but left feeling ripped off.

Hi, Our website does offer 20% off click and collect orders, to obtain this you need to enter the discount code yourself into the checkout. The 10% was applied because you spent over £100 with us. Branches can not add discounts to orders already placed with the agreed price shown. Thanks Matt - GSF

In spite of your website stating the ignition lead set I bought was correct for my model vehicle, in fact the leads were not suitable, ha ing incorrect ends for both the distributor and plugs. The set was returned.

Hi, In some cases there is more than one part for a vehicle listed on our website, in this case we list additional information with all the criteria to enable the correct choice to be made. Ordered parts for complete exhaust system plus cat converter and with the offer of 35% being applied still found my parts cheaper with other suppliers so did not pick my items up which was handy due to the cat not in stock and would of had to order online so to sum up these parts are usually overprice compared to other retailers

Listed on website as "standard bulbs" but upon opening box found they are 8000k colour and are labeled on box as "not for road use"

Ordered 2 same ball joints , 1 was open but didn't think anything of it, went to do job next day only to find that the open one was different to sealed one, had to take back, more time waisted, this is not the first time, must double check everything in shop from now on. Not the happiest bunny around.

Parts and advice are great, but very annoying new discount system - weekends get coupon emails for "40% off!!!" but then the website prices go up (higher than in store) so the actual discount is much less. Sometimes it's cheaper to go in, sometimes it isn't - so you have to go, get prices, then either order on your phone and wait, or pay the extra. Very annoying!

Hi, GSF have different price structures for different market places. Branch pricing can differ from the website/eBay pricing as the target audience is different etc. Branches from time to time will offer discounts of their own, or regular users of GSF gain 'loyalty' discounts. Thanks Matt - GSF

Ordering on website quite straight forward and good email communication afterwards. However I rang store when on route to confirm what time they were open until and was told 5.30 I said my eta was 5.20 but if I got held up in traffic might be a few minutes after 5.30 would they wait for me. Answer back was sorry we close at 5.30! I arrived at store at 5.20, presented my order number and said it mentioned on website that I should check the part was correct for my vehicle as there were different options for my car. This request was totally ignored! So. Good website but sort your staff out!

Hi, I am sorry the staff did not check the parts for you, branch closing times are strict at most branches. Some large hubs may be able to provide some flexibility on occasion, this is purely an operational requirement for security and safety requirements. Thanks Matt - GSF

The first impression is most important. This is not the first time but everytime I telephone GSF Heathrow either for assistance or to inform them of a change in collection day the person at the end of the line is ignorant, unhelpful, uninterested and most annoying rude!!!! I was no wiser after he put the phone down. GSF was my main supplier of spares for my cars for years but I am moving away to your competitors as I would not be treated like an idiot at the end of the day. Captain Gary Lam

Ordered windscreen wipers one had already been opened and parts where missing. Made a second order received email to come and collect both items only one was there both where shown as being in stock.

Really disappointed, ordered on Sunday afternoon 24 hour delivery. Web site showed item in stock so expected the light to arrive on Tuesday but it wasn't even dispatched until the Wednesday. Then the item which arrived wasn't the rear lamp as described just the plastic lens. When you purchase a lamp you would expect it to include the bulb fittings but no and no mention of the fact in the description. Lesson learned!!

Hi, Please refer to our previous conversation about this, all lenses are supplied without bulb holders, even from Citroen (please refer to the images sent via email). The lens would be the front fascia of the light, lamp refers to the full unit (which is what was supplied). On some units where bulb holders are integral or supplied we will state 'with bulb holder' on the part information. Sorry the item was not what you wanted in this case. I had reserved it on line when I went to collect it it didn't show the discount so I had to do it again outside and wait 25 mins for it to reach the shop not inpressesd at all

Hi, I have looked into this, it appears on your first order no discount was applied at the checkout. All discount codes must be entered in the checkout process for them to be added to your order. Thanks Matt.

Hi, Discount codes ONLY work online, they can not be redeemed for 'walk-in' customers. You need to use the click and collect service to obtain the discount, please read the conditions stated on the bottom of all promotional emails sent. Thanks Matt- GSF

Hi, Our online prices have remained the same, some lines have been subject to small price increases due to additional cost inherited by GSF to stock/supply the product. Wasn't happy as when I collected my parts I was then told I only ordered one brake disc ?! Why would a system make you order one & not a pair so I was presented with another £52 bill. No thanks. Thanks GSF !!!

Hi, The branch are quite correct, the website does state that discs are priced as single items and you will need to order two for a pair. Changes will be implemented in the future to make this more clear. Thanks Matt - GSF

It was not clear that the promised 40% discount was for click and collect. This resulted in a wasted journey into Leamington and then a second journey the following day to then collect after clicking. Seems a silly system to me but what do I know. As you can collect within the hour of clicking then it leaves little time to restock. Otherwise I have always been happy with the service I have received at the counter, always friendly, lnowledable and helpful. Will continue to use GSF.

Online section was the best bit of the experience. Collecting at the store was a poor poor experience. Staff were very slow to come to the counter even though they had seen me enter the shop. Took ages and were not friendly at all. I'm the only one that used the words "Thank You". Need to work on basic people skills like making customers feel welcome...fake it if don't feel it. Not impressed by staff customer service. Will try another branch as I'm sure they're not all that unwelcoming.

The item I purchased had a forty % discount ,but when i went to pick it up it was different from the picture of the item on the internet,and the correct one i could not get the discount from the shop. The picture of the item was misleading.

Hi, These codes are online exclusive, this is stated on the bottom of every email. Stores are not able to offer such discounts over the counter. In most cases it is often easier to place an order for the item on the click and collect service whilst in the branch. Thanks Matt - GSF Car Parts

I reserve items on line for collection in a couple of days... I then receive a mail offering a discount code ... great ... When I go to collect the items they can't offer the discount because I reserved the items without the discount code. I would have to cancel my click and collect order (on my phone while standing in the branch) and reorder with the code applied and wait for it to feed thought to the system in store. This is nuts if you're going to have an online presence it need to be tied up. The experience left me feeling I had received bad customer service.

Hi, The discount codes can ONLY be applied online, this is detailed at the bottom of every promotional email we send. Branches are unable to adapt pricing on orders generated via the website, this is due to price limits being in place on the sales system. The only way these prices can be obtained is with the use of a discount code via the site, which is able to override the system pricing structure. Thanks Matt - GSF
