Went into the Haverfordwest branch,the sales assistant was good and I agreed to order the recommended Sat nav online and a slot for fitting it...what a joke,the website is a nightmare,kept stating that the item was not available in my nearest store,nearest store available was 2 hours by road,could not contact the store directly,eventually had a phone call which ended with the Halfords person agreeing that I should go back to the Haverfordwest store buy a sat nav there not have it fitted but to run it from the cigarette lighter socket....rubbish service and a complete waste of time.

just went to replace my battery which was on warranty.. they guy at their rugby branch was so rude I can not explain in words. mostly halfords is any way expensive on top of it their policies and customer service is worst than other retailers like carpartforless they are super amazing in thier customer service.

Waiting for my refund for tyres which haven't been fitted becouse one of my wheel nut key is different .I decided to buy two tires on eBay instead becouse wheel nut remove will cost me money so instead of pay 235 in national tyres I will pay half price including fitting on eBay for cheaper ,but grip A tyres .I don't know why they haven't gived me refund yet,the waiting time is so long .

AVOID!!! Sold me a Carrera bike in Nov 21 that broke after a day. Repaired (incorrectly) and over 2 years I've had it back 3 times with the same fault. Found out last week that the issue causing this reoccurrence was obvious was never repaired. This issue was there from purchase and my son has been at risk the whole time he's been riding it. I have evidence that the fault was there from purchase and they've refused a refund because they can't see the image properly and it's 2 years later. Can't let him out on it now and have to buy a new one. Customer services siding with the store despite all my evidence. I will never use Halfords again.

Truly terrible Truly terrible Not worth one star. Awful place, no customer service, I asked for advice, didn't get it, just a shrug, as the bored Halfords person was keen to move on to next customers. Ended up wasting my money on something I couldn't use. Unable to even contact Halfords to discuss, no reply to emails... such a shame, as a cyclist (& motorist) I have always shopped there, will have to find somewhere else in future.(DUMFRIES STORE) Not only this, they REMOVED my review from their website, rather than address the problems.

Ordered item online. Said it was available at my local branch so used "Click and collect" . Then got a phone call from the branch to say that the item was unavailble at that branch. When I pointed out what the website had stated, I was told this was due to an "error" in the stock program. I was advised to go to the next branch, 25 min drive each way as they had 2 items in stock. When I asked how they knew this, they said they had looked it up online(!) When I pointed out that this had already proved unreliable, They suggested I phone the branch directly to check. The phone number you get online is the same for all branches and reaches a central switchboard - I was told you can't contact branch directly. Working through the steps in the recorded menu it initially told me to check stock online - which was particularly annoying as this is how the problem started. When I finally got through to a human being I explained, and the lady said she would contact the branch for me to check their stock. Shortly after, she got back to me to say that the branch were not answering her calls, so she could do nothing for me, End of call.

Ordered wiper blades yesterday and fitting at local National Garage today. Made garage appointment . Arrived -no wiper bladeshad arrived . National attendant used F word to describe Halfords website in front of my 4 year old Grandson. asked for refund. Never again.

Hey there… how can I fix my issue with the bike light from your shop? It’s still damaged and you are closed in Claptham junction… You should block people on the chat support… I have the receipt online. You should have an option to fix the customer issue and to stop selling very low quality items.

I had such a terrible experience with Halfords customer service. They were very unprofessional and totally useless. They couldn't help me to order online, I tried both chat and phone, and then they sent me to the physical store where they were equally useless. This ruined my day! On the other hand, I am very happy I didn't make an expensive purchase with them and didn't get me into an even worse situation.

I would Mark this in minus but there isn't an option to do this I booked tyres to be fitted at my home knowone turned up and no telephone call when I called to find out what happened I was told there was no booking on the system even though money has been taken from my bank account on my motor club membership it now says order completed I have emails confirming the booking but no order number on these emails I do have cctv out the front of my house which will confirm knowone came to fit the tyres to my car. I totally disputed with the service from Halfords and I would like to escalate this complaint.

Halfords know I am autistic and have mental health struggles on top due to trauma, hence the reason a bicycle was so critical to my well being. However for more than one year they have left my complaints unresolved and it is still dragging on to this day. I purchased a bicycle from them and the moment I got it there was a weird clicking noise. I then kept having problems but their mechanical staff further messed it up with botched repairs. The manager of my now closed local store Dagenham Merrilands was terrible and declined to put it right, in which I asked for a refund. I was then fobbed off repeatedly by their complaints team that a regional manager would be in touch. This went on all last year into this year. I had to scrap that bike in the end as it was unusable, I had to plod along for months upon months with that faulty bike . I have been robbed of money and use of bike and have no bike now. To do this to a healthy customer is bad enough but to do it to an autistic person with health problems who cannot drive and relied on a bike for mental relief is truly cruel. What the hell is wrong with this company? I offered proof of everything including my disability, health problems and trauma events.

Why do Halfords sell E bikes but dont hold stock like battery chargers seems stupid then you go to order and you have to take in all documents we went in this morning took battery and charger as we didnt know if it was battery but turns out its the charger we need ok you think we will buy one not that simple you need receipt which we had and go through like an iterigation to be told they will only see the order Monday then they cant say how long it would take to get here. No wonder people are buying on line and getting the wrong one which causes fires. Just had another email after sending in picture of reciept they wanted more pictures i want a charger not the crown jewels never buy a bike from Halfords cant get basic repairs without giving your whole life had send a picture of the bike.. what are they doing trying to ruin their own company

Purchased an ebike online from Halfords. Despite promises it arrived without tools so had to buy some from... halfords in Chelmsford. The key for the battery cannot work, cannot slide the battery out and the handlebar has been put in too tight. Important to tell: halfords has no customer services, the people who answer the phone and on the online chat are in South africa and have absolute technical knowledge of bike or cars. To return your bike or to get help you will need to bring your bike you just bought from them to their nearest store. This means that I now need to spend my pension to hire a transport to get my bike back to them It probably be a return as I now have enough. Please halfords do close down.

Good morning I went in to Halfords Aintree this morning this morning as i had an issue with Dash CAM, unfortunately i did not get the gentleman's name but i know he is guy who installs dash cams. I could not have received a better service, he was polite very helpful and sorted my problem. Great service thank you Kenny

Went to Halfords Balham. Had excellent customer service from Jonathan, he couldn’t have been more helpful. Thank you so much for fixing my back wheel of my Carrera bicycle, even so when the store was extremely busy .I could not do it myself. I do enjoy cycling now and can feel how well the job was done. Also huge thank you to Ben , he works there as bikes technician. Thank you again for your kindness and help. I do always recommended to everyone.

I complained about the rudeness of an assistant in aColchester store last week I'm 83 years old and the attitude of this particular person left me almost in tears As I entered the store, she stood a few feet away chewing gum ,on her phone and didn't even acknowledge me until I stood in front of her I've complained about it I had a phone call to say they would look into it, but never heard anything more I've tried to contact them but it's almost impossible to get through to speak to someone I now have to buy wheel trims and have them fitted but am too concerned about going back to Halfords ever again They should be ashamed to have such rude staff especially when an issue is brought to their attention and completely disregarded .I gave them the full details of the visit and was told it would be sorted Tat was on 17th August Dreadful service

Went to Halfords Cribbs causeway. Had excellent customer service from Ethan he couldn’t have been more helpful, while we were buying a child seat for my granddaughter. Well done Ethan

Absolute rip-off bike servicing. Paid £60 for a silver service and they wanted an additional £20 to 'fit' two brake blocks. A job that would have taken the 'technician less than a minute!
