They dont deserve 1 star!!!! Worst & most frustrating customer service experience of my life!!! I have no words. They cannot help me with the simplest of tasks, they keep repeating your question. They dont listen, they transfer you from rep to rep. Its horrible. So many tech issues I have only been able to complete 1 ride since signing up a week ago. And to make matters worse that ride is no where to be found & I haven't been paid my fare. and different operators, whose English is poor, contradict one another. Never seen anything like it. I just want my pay so I can move on I have actually lost money trying to drive foe Uber. I just also want to add with the support being so terrible it makes driving for them extremely unsafe God forbid you were ever in a bad situation they would NOT be able to help you. The CEO should be ashamed and they need to go back to the drawing board. Its awful!!!!!

I booked a ride at 2.34 PM on 04/04/2023 from airport. The guy never came, and the map showed he is 1-2 min away for like 20mmin. I was standing outside in freezing cold, 20 min later he sent a text asking where I'm, I said 6B, he asked what is 6B. That's when I realized he is not at the airport. He agreed he is not but lied saying he came and went. Original time was 12 min wait, there is no way he came and left while I was standing and scannnig LIC plates. He said he can't cancel, and I should if I can. I ended up cancelling and rebooking. His name was Rahman. Worst is I sent a message to Uber till today no response, suppossed to call me within 24 hours. Terrible customer service for charging an arm and a leg.

I used Uber App for the first time while on holiday overseas, never again! Customer Services were unhelpful, do not like feedback and seemed to expect it okay that I pay twice for a trip when it was the fault of their own set up. I had WiFi in hotel booked car out to a destination that I would not have WiFi for 20days. There was no note to say I would need a pin at the end of trip, and even though this showed after I gave the initial pin it disappeared off screen as soon as we left hotel & I had no WiFi to retrieve it. I paid the driver in full plus a tip in cash. When I returned to WiFi I see that it still showed the amount outstanding. So I contacted customer services: their two responses: I should have recorded a card on account and paid through app - my reply 1. Country of holiday wouldn't take payment from my UK card although registered 2. Even if it could I would have still be in same situation with no pin and no access to WiFi. Uber's other response was that I either paid the outstanding balance still showing on account or it would be added to next ride. - My response if Uber did not foresee the problems not supplying a pin offline that was not my fault. I gave Uber the option of keeping me as a customer & updating the fact that payment was made in cash & that I had witnesses or I would stop using the app, share my injust experience of uber customer services on various reviews & media to warn others and to report my experience within my home country & country of holiday. So with no reply to that message here I am sharing my bad experience of uber customer services & business model. Be warned. Personally I with take my business to one of the many other services such as Bolt or Grab from now on.

I have several bad experiences with taxis in Dubai, if you use apps better pay by card because it's easy to get scammed like I was. I paid my trip to the taxi driver 50 AED after 2 hours I saw Uber's request to pay 141.8 AED austanding balance, I realized the taxi driver continued to travel using my name

1 star too many. Uber and Uber EATS will not allow a review, clearly for obvious reasons. Uber eats app is terrible and WILL NOT allow the consumer to review the order fees prior to submission. Yes I submitted my order seeing the basic order fee and tip but NOT other fees associated until after it's placed. I tried to cancel immediately after but there is no option. I call and told they can't refund my money. I said fine, then deliver the food since 80% of the charge is the fee for canceling. NOPE, "Mary" said she can't because they can't assign a delivery person at this time. A supervisor would not get on the line and I was told AFI would call me back because there was no way to transfer my call, really?? No call back. Just terrible all around and a permanent story I will tell going forward.

The CEO of Uber needs to start reading these comments. The customers are not being heard, and the drivers are not getting the support staff that they need. You cannot hire people from out of the country who do not understand what you’re trying to describe. Someone from HR needs to read over these reviews and get some help at staffing.

The uber driver Abdul in houston tx made sexal advances toward me on my ride and made me feel really uncomfortable I would not recommend him for any female traveling alone

An absolutely frustrating experience that left me feeling disrespected by the support team. It took speaking to 6 different reps before someone was finally able to help me. The final rep closed the chat before the conversation was over.

I would like to give less than one star. I have no words. They cannot help me with the simplest of tasks and different operators, whose English is poor, contradict one another. Never seen anything like it. I just gave up and started driving for a competing rideshare company.

Can i go lower? Can I give them a zero? This is the worst service line ever. There is nothing they can do for you. I've called in with issues and they have no solutions. There is no direct cummunication between departments. For example, the CS department is an island, they can't contact the record or documents department. So unless it is the simplest of issues, ie. something you figure out yourself anyways while waiting on hold, they are useless.

Uber customer support=No support at all. Firstly, specially in Canada, they have very few offices to visit in person. Secondly, their phone support is terrible- they can't understand the issue nor speak any English properly. If your blood pressure is low, call them, I am sure your BP will go high with frustration. I have never seen such terrible and disgusting support. Uber is very stingy on spending money. We have seen in the past that they were not spending enough money on Cyber Security and got compromised. Then they opened CyberSecurity jobs immediately. Same thing they are doing on Customer support. They never support drivers. If you are a driver, Consider you are none for them. We need better company. Hopefully in future, a competitor evolves. Then I am sure 80% of the drivers would switch to that. I have never seen a driver fully happy with Uber, just because of the account issues. If your account have issues, pray God that it is activated soon because Uber support would never tell you what is the issue.

I don’t understand how it is acceptable to have people on customer support who can barely talk or understand English. It makes it very frustrating to communicate and to get the help and support needed.

Absolutely no use sending a review on a poor experience. All you will get is a note. No accountability. I am allergic to cigarettes and the particular matter that clings to material. My ride in the last Uber was filled with just such smells and worse, a cheap air freshener trying to mask it. I had to hang my head out window just to breathe. It was a blessing the ride was short. Yet my voice was lost for the better part of the night and my breathing was labored. The support team at under took no responsibility. They do not seem to think it is important for their clients to ride in a smoke free environment!!!

I had a customer that was so drunk he spit on me and then when he got out he killed the side of my car and left the scratch that was about a foot long well I contacted Uber support I gave them an estimate I gave them pictures and they treated me as if I did something wrong and then never paid me for it f*** this company
