I can only assume this company is a fraud. We are finding it impossible to cancel. This is set up to rip you off. PLEASE DO NOT USE!!!

The booking process online was easy. I made the mistake of paying in advance. I was told I could cancel any time with no penalties up to 48 hours before car pickup. When I called the office I just got put on hold. When I tried to cancel online they said because of the COVID-19 concerns that I should consider waiting until closer to the pick-up date. The rest of my trip has already been canceled but they won't let me cancel my rental.

I wish I could give Zero Ratings to Holiday Autos. The issue that I have experienced was: When I get to Car Rental counter, I was denied to provide Audi A3 and I was Informed that I was booked for Toyota Corolla not Audi A3 also they said that Holiday Autos is a Fraud company and they always do fake advertisement. Also when I booked this reservation I was clearly informed that one way fee was included but I end up paying one way fee again also there were other hidden charges for which I was never informed. When I asked them to reimburse me for the loss which I took, They simply denied and stop responding to my emails. Fraud, Cheater, They do Fake Advertisement. Don't Book Through Holiday Autos RIP TO THE SERVICES OF HOLIDAY AUTOS

I do not usually leave reviews but my experience with holiday autos has been absolutely appalling. I booked a rental in advance of my holiday and when going to pick up my car at the airport my card was not accepted. I provided both a credit and debit card with enough funds covering the deposit. I was denied the service as the man at the desk did not recognise my Canadian credit card. I was left stranded in the airport with no means of transport. When I contacted holiday autos for a refund they denied this as well. They kept coming up with excuses as to why they would not issue me a refund. I explained I had provided all relevant documents and sent photos of my credit card. They would not reply for over 10days and then again denied me a refund with an alternative excuse. I highly warn whoever is thinking of using this company as it is a massive hassle and actually more expensive than sorting out transport at the airport. Absolutely appalling service. I do not recommend. Scam.

I've rented a car via this company couple of times, however when something goes wrong and you want to change something in your agreement or cancel it they will never return even part of your money. In my case I wanted to cancel my rent agreement, because I've learnt something that I didn't know before. The whole cancelling procedure could not be made because it takes so much time to even find where you can cancel the agreement and when you finally find it the option doesn't work properly. Then it is too late to even cancel because you are after pick up time. When you want to raise a complaint, again, it takes so much time to even find how to contact them. I did it via facebook, firstly they didn't respond on messanger for a whole day, they only reacted when you post a comment under one of their facebook posts. After couple of days of explaining the situation they will forward you to Resolver (complaint management company) just to learn the same as per messanger. So they've earned full amount from my renting agreement, but they didn't even have to rent a car to me.

Office wasn’t open when I got off my flight, nobody answered the phone, left stranded and had to book with another company. No refund! Horrible to deal with. Yes they will reply quickly but what use is that if they cannot resolve your problem?!?

Ran into problems with creditcard. We couldn’t change or cancel the booking because the holiday auto’s website didn’t work. Ended up paying for a car we couldn’t even use and had to change our holiday plans. They will NEVER refund you. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY.

Unfortunately my experience with Holiday Autos site is very bad. Firstly I rented a car from Holiday Autos site that provided Green Motion’s company as local supplier in Gdansk in Poland. When we arrived to Gdandsk in 27-12-2019 we surprised at Green Motion had no office in Gdansk airport. So we phoned them then one of the employees came after 20 minutes to pick us from the airport to their office location. There we agreed on that he would meet us on our departure day, 1-1-2020, before our flight at the same place to pick us again to the airport, the same way we came from the airport. We did exactly what we agreed on together. We waited beside the office 45 minutes, which was locked with t.v on. No answer, more than 7 calls on his phone numbers that say 24/7 active lines and I sent more than 2 messages. Then we had to take the decision to head off to the airport and parked the car in airport parking. 6 hours after, the employee called us to know location of the car without apologizing even. After 2 hours Green Motion company sent email to me saying at they charged me 73,80 EUR as penalty for at the vehicle has not been left in the designated place. At the same time, Amount of 74 EUR was also deducted from my credit card balance av. I tried to contact them but they didn’t answer. Then I reported a complaint (PL485184440, case: 01341108) to Holiday Autos site which after one and half month said at they can’t do anything! Now I will report my bank for at I have all documents that support my case.

Watch out for this company. They use the cheapest rental companies and they are not part of the European Car Rental Conciliation Service (ECRCS). So, although they are cheaper on line when you go to collect your car then 'hidden' charges appear. The rental agreement does not clearly indicate additional costs and I got stung for a one-way surcharge plus a hefty deposited because I had full insurance from a 3rd party. The company they used in Italy is Ecovia and their customer services are non-existent, they were rude and very unhelpful (look up reviews for Ecovia and you will see what I mean).

Never use this scam company. They take your money in advance, and in my case then refused to release the car with no refund. Imagine arriving in a foreign country and not being able to get to your onward destination! A traveler's worst nightmare Holiday Autos!

Treated with utter disrespect and contempt! They don't really have a customer care department, more like a customer fraud department.... (would give 0 if possible) A problem with a booking, caused by the car being unavailable when I went to pick it up, led to our booking being cancelled. No refund and we had to pay a much higher price to re-book!

If I could give them zero stars, then I would. Booked to pick up a car in Tenerife over Christmas. This car had a much smaller boot size then we booked for and no alternative was available. I couldn't fit in two small suitcases into a car boot that was supposed to fit three suitcases. Advised by their representative not to take the car and holiday autos would give us a full refund. To date no refund received, they said they would not give me one as I did not take the car upgrade offered (not an alternative, an upgrade that I would have to pay more for) and furthermore emails have not been answered. Avoid this company at all costs.

Wow, DO NOT book a car with this company, even if it appears that they have lower prices. They only APPEAR to have lower prices because they conceal mandatory fees from the price that you’re forced to pay right before you pick up the car. I got totally screwed by it - I booked a car rental and even paid for the supplemental insurance through their site, but when I went to pick up the car with all my confirmations in hand, I learned that Holiday Autos had withheld mandatory fees from the price just to make the initial price appear lower. They wouldn’t rent me the car until I paid an additional $130! After I complained to their customer service and even escalated my case, their team wouldn’t even refund me the worthless supplemental insurance that I purchased through them. Be warned: it is WAY better to just book a car directly through a car rental company. Don’t make the same mistake I did ):

Very disappointed by the whole experience. Booked a car to be picked up at 16.30. Arrived at the desk, I have been told I have been "awarded" an upgrade. I am thinking great ! Got to the car, and realized the upgrade was a massive car with 5 seats in the back. Being there to be in the city and not used to such big cars, I did not feel comfortable in driving it. I requested and booked a small car for a reason and expected something similar as promised. I went back to the desk and been offered a Zafira instead. Well it was already 5.30, the person is in fact explaining they do not have any similar product available which is why they get me this car. Not refund offered. I tried to call their supposed 24h service which did not answer... I was late and had to take it anyway. I used the car for 3 days. Now 1 week after, I raised an online complain with no reply whatsoever. I had to call to be partially heard and told by a lady that this was not her fault, but mine because I took the car ! She did not apologise and kept repeating that I am responsible for it. She did not offer any compensation neither a refund. Explained she is not the car rental company but simply he broker and said " there is nothing I can do, is there anything else I can do for you today". What a joke. Plus she kept repeating that she was in Ireland and not in germany where I rented the car. I dont see why this is relevant, and telling me that she feels I do not understand, well I think this should be the other way around in customers service, she should understand me, she even asked me "what do you propose?", I couldn't believe it. At the end, I pay for a car I never had, neither something similar, and I did not receive the service I was supposed to. I am having a trip again next week and will be using another company.Very bad experience

WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIS WEBSITE! I've always used Priceline to book my car rentals and this was the first time that they transferred me to another company - Holiday Autos. It was nothing but trouble trying to book as it would say "Booking Confirmed" after entering in your credit card and then minutes later you would receive an email saying that it was 'cancelled'. I finally got it to work and received an email saying it was confirmed. As I am boarding the plane, I receive an email saying that my reservation is cancelled but I check my credit card and I've been charged three times. The online help system for Holiday Autos is a joke! They put you in a hold system where they hope you will give up. Then the representative tells me that I wasn't charged even when I send screenshots of the charges. Save yourself the hassle and stress; book elsewhere.
