Terrible Customer "Service" - no answer whatsoever, after 4 weeks from the order date and 3 weeks from the date it was supposed to arrive. I fully understand the Covid-19 emergency, but other retailers manage to stay on top of the orders and (re-) their customers expectations. Homebase have taken the money, and have no clue whatsoever when or how they're going to deliver.

Placed an order March 24th, still waiting. Have been told be X3 different emails I will have it by the end of that week, a further 3 weeks later still no sign. Please do not promise dates you have no way of achieving. I either need my order or refund & will get from elsewhere.

Like so many others ordered fence paint on 28th March and still waiting!!! It is impossible to contact Homebase emails bounce back and telephones lines are not taking calls. We all appreciate these unprecedented difficult times but Homebase are still able to take your money immediately, send regular marketing emails and take new orders from unsuspecting customers ADVIOD AT ALL COSTS

Same as everyone else, website said delivery within 4 days, two weeks later still nothing. No response to emails. STOP TAKING ORDERS IF YOU CAN'T FULFIL THEM!

I waited over 5 weeks for a order I placed online. They wouldn’t answer any of my messages or emails on when this would be sent out. Funny how they could email me most weeks to advertise there products though. I then got a email to say they were 4 weeks behind on delivery’s and I could go and collect from store. This did make me mad, but drove to collect it the next day as wasn’t waiting another 4 weeks to receive. Really poor customer service, and I won’t ever be using them again.

I placed an order on the 28th march delivery was between 7-10 days. It is now 5 wks since I placed my order and I am still waiting for it. I have sent around 15 emails and tried phoning on numerous occasions. The phone number is now not taking calls and a recorded message is telling you to email all emails are now bouncing back so there is no way if contacting them at all. I would cancel my order with them but there is no way off doing this. The lack of customer service and communication from homebase is ridiculous. I will never shop with them again and I would advise others to do the same. They were quick enough taking my money and they probably knew they could not fulfill the order at the time.

Like many people I am waiting on an order, and emailed asking for refund, but silence. Last week I had a similar problem with another company, and contacted the Daily Mail re the bad reviews on their web site, success I had a call the following day. Can I encourage you all where possible to contact your local papers. They continue to take orders knowing they can not fulfil them.

Ordered paint said 7 days delivery this did not happen received an email from the delivery company that it would arrive on the 27/04/20 still nothing tried to contact the delivery company back they get blocked no update from homepage themselves will not order from this uncaring greedy company in the future.

Terrible service, waiting 4 weeks and counting for my order, received an email stating a delivery date and guess what? That date has been and gone, no update, no contact, nothing, absolute shambles

bought a strimmer which they dident have in stock still have not got it asked numerous times for refund fobbed off canselled order within 14 days still excuses excuses no refund appauling answeared me 3 times saying they cant cope but still not refunded i dont want strimmer i want my money back WARNING BEWARE customer service appauling im now reporting to credit card to try and get money back will not be using again plus they have shut complaints phone line

Appalling service ordered £360 worth of garden furniture on 5th April due to arrive 11th asked for refund on 20th, 10days later still nothing, only way of contact is email that they don’t respond to stating to wounded if it’s a scam

Ordered £80 worth of fence paint on 6th April, money taken immediately! received conformation email then nothing. Sent repeated emails with no response, terrible customer service. Eventually on the 21 April I received an email to say my order would be delivered before 29th April, Guess what ? . . . It didn't arrive! Sent an email and it bounced back. Sent another email to a different address got a reply to say they are no longer replying to customers regarding deliveries. Able to send me marketing emails every day though! How bad can a company get? Shocking customer service, Shocking service full stop! Avoid them at all cost!

Ordered 4 weeks ago. Two emails saying delivery before a certain date and nothing arrives. Won't answer emails. Had no problem with other similar stores. Who's ever in charge needs sacking. Completely useless.

Unfortunately I think Homebase need to really look at their web team and customer service team...understand that all businesses are impacted by Covid-19 but they've been handling things particularly poorly. We ordered an item, email comes through confirming the item in the wrong colour. We then cannot get hold of anyone despite calling multiple times throughout the day. They then changed to email contact only - however the email address they put on their instagram page is incorrect. It does baffle me how the comms department could fall apart quite so badly. We then got a random incorrect item delivered to us, then the correct order also delivered (but wrong colour) so now we're stuck with wrong goods that we tried to cancel. We're almost resigned to calling it a loss as getting hold of them appears to be a full time job. Managed to hear back from Bathstore...only to be redirected back to Homebase...order from Victoria Plumb instead, we got correct goods quickly!

Really really disappointed with Homebase. Ordered a large amount of stones (over £100 worth) on 28th March. At my time of purchase, delivery was showing up to 10 days due to Covid 19, which was absolutely fine. It’s now 24th APRIL, I’ve sent 2 emails asking where my order is and when it will be dispatched and I have had absolutely nothing back. I’m really disappointed. I appreciate they are struggling to cope with the amount of orders they are getting HOWEVER loads of websites including B&Q/Wickes/Screwfix have started a queue system to get onto their website due to current demand. Other websites like Next have limited the amount of orders they accept in a day, so that they can fulfill orders. If you go onto the Homebase website, no queue to get on and they are still taking orders!! This just screams pure greed over customer service. Terrible company!

30+ days and still waiting n order that was due to be with me in 6. Ordered during the virus outbreak, expected some delay, but this is beyond ridiculous. How can they keep their website open for orders when they cannot fulfil ones outstanding from 30 days ago. Customer service is non existent. This will be remembered when the world gets back to normal. Stop being so greedy Homebase and look after your customers

Ordered and paid for goods. Delivery estimated 3-5 days though expected longer due to covid 19. Did not expect still to be waiting 4 weeks later. Customer service is shocking. Received an email stating goods would be delivered in 7 days - none arrived. Received second email saying goods would be delivered within 7 days. Still no goods. Cannot speak to customer service on phone so twice sent emails asking for refund. Again no response. Aware there are issues with delivery bu5 you as a company should not give delivery dates that cannot be kept. Now struggling to get a refund

We ordered garden furniture from homebase and they took our money fine and delivered it fine but the quality was awful so we have asked for them to collect it and refund and they have fobbed us off over and over again for over a month. I used to use them a lot, I wont ever use them again after this. Joke of a company.

Disgusting service and zero communication. Placed £800 orders on 30th March. All delayed. No communication from them until I complained to the CEO. Now 28th April still missing half of my order. No updates. Now recieving an automated reply that no emails regarding deliveries will be responded to. Yet still taking new orders. Will never shop here again. Disgusting.
