Late delivery. Wrong order received. No phone line for customer service to rectify this. Only an 'INSTANT messanger' tool - ironic seeing as I was informed the wait would be 2 hours! After an hour it cut out and would not disconnect. Insane method of customer service. Never ever again - not worth the hassle.

I ordered a size 14-16 swimming trunks for my teenage son and have been sent a size 8-10 instead. Why send the wrong size out in the first place. I have now been told I have to return them at my own expense and supply proof of posing to try to get my money back. Surely orders are checked before they get sent out. I will never order from House of Fraser again.

no one replies on the on line chat, all i need to know was what stores were still open for business. no one answers the phone. absolute shocking customer service.

I ordered a king size fitted sheet and stuck it in the wardrobe. I should have opened it up when it arrived. Had I done so, I would have seen that they had sent me a single bed fitted sheet. Now it's too late to send it back. Knowing that I spent in total £48 for this single sheet infuriates me and I will never order from them again.

I ordered a vase from HOF that was on sale and recieved a photo frame instead? After I finally made contact though HOF’s very difficult contact procedure I sent photographs but no one came back to me with an instruction on what to do. As no one came back to me I had to contact HOF again two days later. This time I was given a return postage but again I was told someone would come back to me to instruct on how to receive the correct item, the vase. Once again, no one came back to me. I decided not to wait any longer and sent the wrong Item back and enclosed details of the issue. Again nobody came back to me. After a week I tried to contact again for someone to acknowledge me and let me know what was happening......nothing! Now I have had notification that my money is to be refunded. Two weeks after the order, and the original Item that I tried to order is no longer available. Nobody told me that, I looked myself online as I was going to try again. I had the option to buy this vase on sale from another supplier but unfortunately for me the item is no longer on sale. House of Frasers lack of assistance on an issue that they created for me is the worse customer service that I have ever come across. Apart from the anxiety that HOF created for me by ignoring me, I have lost the opportunity to purchase the Item that I was after. It was supposed to be a wedding present.

Still waiting for my daughters birthday present to arrive over 2 weeks late have now received an e mail to say my order has been delivered which it most definitely has not, I was in all day of supposed delivery so they’re blatantly lying am now going to have to follow this up further after numerous e mails etc and even after asking for a refund so I can order elsewhere, this is terrible customer service. Avoid ordering from this company.

Upon visiting the oxford street store I was treated like a thief after buying a bag and purse the staff and manager of this dept were a disgrace I've complained and was offered a £20 voucher !!! Oh my days a second embarrassment from you. I would never go in the store again and I'm going to seek legal advice my confidence has dropped to an all time low I work hard for my money and wanted to treat myself now I feel as though I'm being victimised for my accent and look I'm very upset about the whole situation

I ordered two dinner services from House of Fraser before Christmas. They arrived smashed. I was expected to take the 15kg! 4’x3’x3’ box to the Post Office and pay for its return. I’m disabled and live in a wheelchair. They didn’t care. I managed to get my carer to help with the box and it was returned 5 weeks ago. I still don’t have my money back. £300 is a lot of money to me , being without it makes rent difficult and I’m living on soup. They don’t care. The online chat never works, the web form is ignored and there’s no telephone number. This is a horrible, poor quality, shabby company. Shop elsewhere. Anywhere else.

Been chasing up a Christmas order containing 3 presents worth over £100 for 6 weeks now. Order was supposed to arrive 22nd December, they blamed the courier when I first contacted, then admitted the parcel had not been send. When it finally was sent the order arrived with two items missing. Customer service takes days to reply and offer very little help. Wouldn't have expected this from such a well known company. Very disappointing won't be ordering from them again.

Ordered Thursday early afternoon - paid for next day delivery. Only to be told today that some items have been dispatched today and won't arrive until Saturday and they are unsure when they rest will ship. They can't cancel order now and they can't refund the postage until everything has shipped? Absolutely awful service, I don't understand why they would advertise a service that they cannot provide? Definitely be wary if you need the items next day (like I did).

I've had a really bad experience with House of Fraser. I bought some Waterford Crystal glasses, (different types, wine glasses, champagne flutes, tumblers), which came in boxes of four. I bought five sets of each, (20 glasses), and two orders arrived correctly, (i.e. 20 champagne flutes, 20 wine goblets). I only received five tumblers. They sent five tumbler glasses instead of five boxes of four, (20 tumblers). I really want to keep the five because they match the set, but they won't give me a refund for the items not received without me sending back the five I have. Crazy. They have no phone number to call. I'm amazed someone had a Telephone Communication listed. There is no phone number. The only good help I had was from a fantastic lady called Svetlana in the Westfield Store. I have to send the goods back by post, not drop in store, to get a refund and still not sure I will receive full refund. Customer Service not great. No copies of emails sent to them through Contact Form, which is the only way to contact their Customer Services. Not surprising they had to be bailed out. BEWARE. Don't think they will be around for long.

As of today 03/02/20 i still have not received my £80 order worth of clothes that i had ordered on the 16/01/20. It has been waiting for a courier pick up for 2 weeks now...

Do not order from this store unless you are absolutely sure you will keep the item. I ordered two winter coats as I was not sure on the size. I didn't realise that as well as paying for delivery I would need to pay for a return too. They won't even accept instore returns unless you are willing to have a credit note instead of a refund onto your debit card. Cost me almost £20 in postage. I will never shop with this store again.

I would have given it a zero star if I could. You need to pay for click and collect and if things don't fit, you can't return it to stores unless you want to be refunded with store credits. In the end, you would need to pay for the return postage if you want them to refund back to your original form of payment. It's a very frustrating shopping experience after all.

Horrible staff horrible returns policy steal your money. Ordered £400 worth of things in 2018, they cancelled my order now in 2020 still no money back and no way to contact them

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing my items online. Should have known something was wrong when I was charged for delivery to store. On collecting the goods I was given a £10 voucher to shop in store, I thought to myself ok this must be a sweeter for the postage paid, then thought what can you buy in HoF for £5, nothing, so you still need to add a certain amount of money to use the voucher. As I have always been a HoF shopper I always had clothing sent to store as it saves me having to go into the store to return. I purchased several Items of clothing in two different sizes as I always do, tried them on in store and went to the till to return the ones that didn't fit only to be told that I would have to return them all by special delivery and wait for at leat 14 -21 days for my refund. It's going to cost me a small fortune in returns. I now have just over £600 worth of clothing to return. Some came in bags within the delivery bags some didn't, some clearly looked as if they had been dragged all over the warehouse floor. I will be returning them all in a large black bin liner, just as I received them. Never will I buy anything from them again, not even in store. They are putting themselves out of business. as online shopping is the way forward.

Returns policy changed since HoF was taken over by Mike Ashley/Soorta Direct. You cannot return Online order to store anymore for a full refund and to obtain full refund for an online order they do not provide free returns so have to end up paying for a tracked delivery services which is not covered on the refund/return policy

Just want to advise customers to check their items at the till when purchasing buy and collect items. I purchased a Vivienne Westwood watch and went to collect yesterday only to find there was no watch in the box. 🙁😡

I had purchased some items for collection and the day when I went to pick up the items had not arrived in store. I had to go out of country so they were supposed to return the money in my Account which they didn't and I had to chase them for months. Also I had a gift card so I went to redeem it they told me company has been bought by sports direct now so you can't redeem these anymore. Whereas card was valid. I had never received any warning that this could happen

At the Manchester Deansgate store i wanted to have a bra measurment and buy bras. The sales person at the counter on the floor told me that her colleague responsible for measurments had just left but she would be back, would I wait. Waited and waited and waited. No one was worried that there was a customer waiting and they had no idea where their colleague was! Finally there were no sales personnel. Everyone was out sight. The one sales person I got hold of at the Champagne Bar (!) did not want to give me the name of the store manager. I went down. The manager of Shiseido (!) called in the store Manager, who was very nice and helpful. I waited another half an hour. The manager came up with the line that the salesperson was taking the measurments for another customer, blah blah blah. At which point I left the store. I went to M+S, was measured and bought 3 bras. I will never set foot in the Fraser store in Manchester again. I used to have a store card before I moved to the USA 15 years ago. My, have things changed! Now that I am back I thought I would use my store again. Nope.
