Update on my email dated 2nd January . I have received a reply today with an apology for the delay. The DKNY handbag does appear to show a wrong illustration and this will be passed onto the web technical team to be corrected. I can return the item but then I have to send the return receipts in to get a refund for the return carriage. I also paid 6.99 for delivery of a wrong item!!! but no mention of that ,to much hassle I will never buy from H.O.F. again but I did get a reply

I ordered a DKNY bag as a present . The cost was 192.00 plus 6.99 express delivery. When the item arrived the item did not match the picture on the web site. The chain links on the shoulder straps were around half the length of the illustration. This was only on the black one I had ordered .I sent an email on the 2nd Jan as there is no phone number for the call centre and no way can you get chat.This asks if they can help and then you get cut off while you are advising what the problem is .You have to pay for returns and reading previous reviews you do not always get your refund and you still cannot contact them. If you return the item to store you have to have a credit note I believe. So I have decided to keep the item anyway .I will never buy from this company again . Disgusting customer service!!!!

I would not purchase anything from the house of Fraser. Firstly, the product arrived of poor quality and not at all as on the website picture. Secondly, even in this case, you have to pay for the return, and it cost almost £20. I have returned to the nearest store instead, but they have not refunded the money and added to the gift card. In total, I have lost delivery £4.99 at first place, travelling to the nearest store and parking about £15 and had to use money from the gift card and again pay the delivery £4.99. The products in House of Fraser identical to the sports direct but slightly more expensive. It is not shopping as used to be. Avoid at any cost.

Do not buy Online!! I ordered a jumper for my sons birthday next day delivery it didn’t come no updates from house of Fraser, no updates on Hermes website. No phone number for hof - live chat is hit n miss sometimes you get cut off most of time not available. It took me a week to get hof to confirm my order had been lost! I would never buy from house of Fraser again terrible service.

HoF was my favourite store but since the takeover the customer service has been absolutely shocking. Never received one item nor refund and getting hold of customer service has been a nightmare. Will not shop here again.

Absolutely shocking and will never use them again. I should have learned my lesson about the appalling customer service since being taken over as I lost a lot of money on an order I placed online before the takeover - never received the items nor a refund. However, I made the mistake of ordering a few items online in their so called sale and was horrified to receive one damaged item, another that was not the same as item I ordered and another item that was in an appalling condition. I used to love shopping at HOF before the takeover but never will do again and especially as I have now discovered there is no such thing as free returns & you have to incur return postage costs at your own expense - even when they have clearly messed up badly. Absolutely disgraceful and disgusting way to treat customers and they deserve to fail.

You telephone no one answers You try your on line chat and get cut off mid sentence! Absolutely appalling from what was a high end store. Selfridges in future!!

Abysmal customer service from Manager and staff at Rushden Lakes, Northants store, i'd advise avoiding purchasing anything from HOF online or instore. I returned a faulty item, very intimidating staff, made to feel like I was the dishonest person, when I am a genuine customer who buys from HOF all year round. I will NEVER buy from HOF again, I was thinking of buying a sofa from Sofa.Com within HOF, not now, especially as it turns out Mike Ashley CEO of HOF also owns Sofa.Com, I won't be spending money in any of his shops in the future, i'll stick with decent shops like JL and M&S!!

Never order online from House of Fraser. They have changed their returns policy and no longer offer full refunds for returned items into store. You have to send back by courier at your own expense. I placed a large order before I realised this and when it came to returning some items I had to pay for a courier but worst of all the package got lost by the courier company and they wont accept full liability and house of fraser wont refund anything without the goods. So guess what I have now lost out on hundreds of pounds worth! Absolutely maddening!

‼️AVOID ORDERING FROM HOUSE OF FRASER‼️THEY HAVE ALSO BLOCKED ME FROM COMMENTING ON THEIR FACEBOOK POSTS‼️ I ordered a bag from them, which had issues turning up originally. 16 days after receiving a bag, baring in mind this bag originally cost almost £80! Then broke on me whilst shopping. I have contacted them via email, Facebook and Instagram on several occasions without a response. There only response is a credit note, when I questioned why I couldn’t receive a full refund they’ve refused to reply!! Considering if an item is deemed faulty, unfit for purpose or not as described, entitled to a full refund under the consumer act, you would think they would refund! Awful customer service.

Order placed on line23/12/19.for in store collection Norwich store.money 74.99 taken from my bank account but no notification from them 3rd jan 2020 ,have emailed but no response ,no telephone number,found one no that just rings then goes dead.pulling my hair out I can’t believe they are allowed to operate like this,

mas ruined for my son So I ordered my sons Xmas presents from house of Fraser online! First package ordered 7 dec . Turns up delivered by Hermes who slung it in the porch. Bag opened and no packaging at all. Second parcel ordered arrives half the contents missing ! To this day still not received item. Meanwhile I reordered the this package as it took so long to arrive so my son had Xmas presents to open and paid next day delivery ! Guess what still not arrived . I’ve sent tonnes of emails and I get no reply!! Customer service non existent. Cant even talk to someone to sort this disastrous mess and so my son still has half he’s Xmas presents missing until I receive a refund for it all and someone actually acknowledges me. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Order placed for £250 paid £5.99 postage on 15/12/19. Courier collected item according to HOF however their website says they do not have it. It's is now the 28/12/19. This is just ridiculous it's a total JOKE. No live Web chat no response to emails and no phone line for customer service. What a SCAM, SHAME ON YOU HOUSE OF FRASER. AVOID AT ALL COST. HOUSE OF FRASER YOU ARE FIRED. IT'S DAY LIGHT ROBBERY.

Buyers Beware! Buyers Beware!! Do not order online they take your money and orders are not fulfilled. They do not contact you to tell you and offer a refund. No level of customer service available either online or in-store. Absolute robbers taking people’s money and not delivering the goods. I’ll reiterate DO NOT PLACE AN ONLINE ORDER WITH HOUSE OF FRASER.

So so bad. Please avoid. Paid for next day delivery. No items. Can’t get hold of them have emailed multiple times but reply. So I have no items, no refund. Just left in limbo. Disgraceful.

Purchased 2 items for my sons Christmas present . Got the wrong colours went In today to TelfordHOF Extremely rude , abrupt woman served us . No customer service , my receipt was 1 day out of date . She wouldn’t swap them for alternative colours ! Explained they were just wrong colours and son was disappointed however her reply was “ no valid receipt no swap” the tone of her voice , manner was appalling ! Even if HOF was selling things in future for 1p I would NOT give them my money EVER AGAIN Assistants seem to forget that we the customers pay our money to purchase goods which in turn keeps them employed ! Drop the disgraceful , disrespectful attitude HOF I then went to Debenhams and spent £150 on items needed rather than purchase similar in HOF

Awful service, guaranteed Christmas delivery order has sat at ready to ship since ordered a week ago. When you contact them get an automated email and that it. The web chat is taken offline so you contact through there and there is no telephone number. Go through once, by luck i think, on web chat and they told me to wait for the delivery period to expire? This was yesterday the day before Christmas eve. Avoid and use another supplier

Very rude and lacking in customer service at the accessories counter in House of Fraser Milton Keynes Store. In particular the two Managers Maria and Barry. I returned a couple of Barbour gift sets that were purchased in haste having just returned from abroad. Upon returning them a week later with their receipts Maria made me as though I’d acquired goods dishonestly and had an ulterior motive for returning them. Complaining to Barry was a waste of time as all he did was try and justify her behaviour and instead look for the slightest excuse to get away. The caliber of some of the staff falls way below the standards expected of what was once an upmarket prestigious department store. Perhaps it’s just as well it’s closing down

Ordered a christmas present with next day delivery, still waiting almost a week later. I have tried to webchat, email also emailed sports direct no answer to any. I tried numbers I'd found on the Internet just disconnected. Rang the stores who claim to have nothing to do with the online service. Please shop elsewhere save yourself the hassle.
