“The lights were purchased to assist in coming down steps outside. As a result of the poor weather they have been unable to charge fully. So I have to give it an average review at this time. Let's hope the weather improves soon.”

“Light was dispatched promptly. Pleased with light but usual Chinese quality regarding screws fastening light to ceiling piece. You might get screws to go in when half a hole out on the bench with a power tool but standing on a step ladder one hand holding the fitting and the other trying to fit three screws you need them to line up. Easily fixed with a needle file but shouldn't have to do it.”

“I contacted them on the phone and felt that the person I was talking to, wasn't helpful. Plus he said he would contact me the next day to let me know some measurements but he never did. The order I placed arrived quickly which was good. The Sakura tree I bought has a very poor base so it is rather unstable. But looks beautiful alight at night once one finds a way to secure the base without the need to screw the big bolts.”

“the way my complaint was delt with was good and there was no argument over a replacement. however the replacement also had a small fault which took me about 15 min to fix. where the captive nut had been welded to the main tube it had spilled over and would not let the bace plate fit. i had to file it down and then repaint it to stop it going rusty. eric barker”

“I was disappointed with the product. The marble base seemed to have a stain or at least a dark patch at the bottom that was not part of the natural markings. The hole in the marble base also seemed too big and badly positioned compared to the original design - though I cannot be 100 per cent sure about this. The telescopic post was the right size but it was rounded - nothing like the original and certainly different to the first photograph in a series that the company used on its website to advertise the product. Overall, I thought the lamp was poorly constructed but it was cheap so maybe I should have expected that. I should also add that I have kept it and, now in place in my sitting room, it looks good from a distance. So the only problems I had were in the details. If you are on a tight budget and your expectations are not too high, I would recommend this product. If this lamp were stolen, however, I would look hard to find a more faithful version of the original - and I would be willing to spend a bit more money if necessary - before buying this particular lamp again. As far as service goes, the company was excellent. I complained about the lamp and explained why I was disappointed. They offered me a discount on the purchase price, which I wasn't expecting and did not ask for. So full marks for making the effort to keep me satisfied. They were very accommodating.”
