“First time I have used the service and to be honest it was excellent from the Irish end of things. The online booking was easy, the label was sent and no bother to print and tape onto parcel. The driver arrived promptly the next day having rung in advance to say when he was due. Perfect. The only slight bother came at the UK end of the delivery. The tracking showed the parcel as being out for delivery for 3 consecutive days. When I rang to query this the woman was very helpful and made enquiries before ringing me back to say the driver needed "directions" despite the address and postcode being correct on the parcel. I was told the driver was unable to ring for directions as they were not issued with "work phones". So, 10/10 Ireland 4/10 UK.”

Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee that drivers will call upon collection/delivery, as it is true that many are not issued with phones for work purposes for safety and security reasons. We do believe there may have been a technical issue with the courier's tracking system as it should have notified you that further address information was needed, and for this we can only apologise on the courier's behalf and pass this feedback onto them. “The parcel was picked up and delivered within the forecast time framce of 5 days. I am pleased with the service, however, I would have preferred if I had been sent a text message on the day of delivery informing me of the approximate time of arrival. Purely by chance I happened to be at home.”

Thank you very much for your review. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide specific time-slots for collections or deliveries ahead of booking as these times are set upon by the courier. All of our collections and deliveries take place any time between 9am-6pm. However, if you give us a call on the morning of your collection/delivery, we should be able to help you get a more precise time from the courier directly. We hope this helps for next time.

“Parcel was packed on Thurs (23rd Mar) and ready for pick up next day but was not collected until mon 27th. Expected delivery date 29th Mar in Germany only to see that it is still in the UK on this date so looks like it will be Mon 3rd April before it arrives. 10 days Dublin- Germany not what was promised. I know not parcels.ie fault but GLS.”

“I was very happy with the online booking and payment service this was all very easy to negotiate. My parcel was collected on schedule on Monday 20/03/2017 at approximately 12.30 and I was very happy. To my surprise the following day I was contacted again to make arrangements for collection and when I said my package had been collected the previous day as scheduled I was informed it had not been scanned and was assured of a call back to let me know what had happened. After several hours of waiting for call back and being unable to tract my package online I rang back and was told that my numbers were invalid/no working. I was again promised a call back to let me know where my package was. As this was a very high cost item I was very alarmed. I was able to provide TNT with my customer number etc and the name and contact number of the person who collected my package. I did not receive a call back to inform me my package had been found. My package was collected from me on Monday 20/03/2017 at 12.30pm approximately and I was unable to track it until 17.13pm on Tuesday 21/03/2017. My package was missing for a total of 29 hours. Having paid extra for 2 day delivery my package did not arrive for 3 days. My parcel arrived at its destination in perfect condition. Regards Marcella”

We are very sorry for the issues you experienced with the tracking information - I cannot see that you were in contact with our customer support team about this, and so we apologise on behalf of our courier that you feel let down in regards to the support provided. We believe that this was simply a technical error with the real time tracking information, as we can now see via TNT's tracking that the item travelled safely through the courier network, and did not appear to be missing at any stage. We also apologise that your shipment arrived a day later than the expected date - although the vast majority of our collections and deliveries take place on the expected date, Irish Parcels is not a time-guaranteed service, only estimated. We recognise that factors beyond our control may cause delays. I can see that the shipment experienced a small delay prior to reaching its final destination. “Customer service excellent and the driver was pleasant. My first parcel so it wasn't perhaps helpful that the driver couldn't check the paperwork I had downloaded to make sure it was all in order; it was! He also didn't realise that he had to sign at collection so my parcel was collected by someone I didn't know and I then had no record of him actually collecting it! There was also some discrepancy not of my doing so the parcel wasn't collected when it should have been and then we hit Paddy's weekend. However, I would use your service again as the support team were exemplary.”

“Very efficient and cost effective for despatch from Ireland but took over a week and several phone calls after arrival of parcel in Barbados before receiver notified and then it had to be collected from airport. I will use Irish Parcels again.”

“I got my golf Clubs shipped to Germany from Ireland. The Service is quick and the amount I paid was under half the Price I would have paid if I had brought them on the plane with me. The only downfall is that I cannot find a return Price for anywhere near the Price I got them shipped to me. The Clubs were delivered within 4 working days and were perfectly intact. I would recommend Irish Parcels if the Price is right!”

“Its good in the sense after collecting it went to India in one day, but still my family didnt get the parcel because officers are holding that parcel so they can ask some money(bribe) from my family. It supposed to be delivered in two days but too much corruption in India and they will never change their greedy behaviour. Secondly item collecting man didnt wait for a minute and in email u should also give full details of required documents. Anyway it was nice to choose your service hope it will be deliver soon and goodluck for future.”
