The process was mostly smooth and went well except for when we were billed a service fee for our last payment by credit card that we were not aware of - it was $160. This was not clear when we made the initial payment and reservation. The concierge services did not go as well as we thought with pre-stocking and car rental.

We had a family reunion of sorts... my wife and I, our two adult daughters and spouses and two small grandchildren aged 4 and 1. The house is beautiful with more than enough space for all of us. The pool was great--- very clean and well-maintained! We took advantage of both the canoe and paddle board. We took the canoe across to the other side of the bay where there was a great chance to explore the plant and animal life! The water is best for those activities, less so for swimming. The beach area was very clean and nice. There are some very nice beaches very close by also. One thing to keep in mind is that there may very well be a surcharge for air conditioning-related electricity usage. We were thoughtful (though not obsessional) about our AC usage, making sure to turn it off at night (We were there in March and the nighttime temp was pretty cool... no need for A/C.) At check out, there was an $85 surcharge based on our usage at the end of a one-week stay. (The concierge comes over at check out time to check the meter.)

Our family had a wonderful vacation at Sunset Close due to all of Stephanie's help ahead of arriving in Providenciales. She made sure all of our needs were met while traveling with a one-year-old and four-year-old. Many thanks to Stephanie. Dineesh was also most helpful in her responses to my texts! The reason for the four stars was our concierge Julian. While he met us for check-in, he was rushed and constantly checked his phone. Julian walked me and my son-in-law through the villa at a hurried pace. We were grateful for the Sunset Close Binder as that provided us with guidance for staying at the Villa. When we were leaving, Julian just came and checked the electric meter and departed. We would have expected him to come in, check and see how our stay was etc. That said, the Villa was amazing - the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The bedrooms were gorgeous, the beds were most comfortable. The bed linens were soft, the bath towels and beach towels were plentiful! The mid-week cleaning was very thorough. Most of all the pool and the views were stunning. Sunset Close is a gorgeous place to spend time in Provo!

The only other complaint was we never met the local concierge. The person that took us through the home went fast and I didn’t catch half of what he gave for information. We did have contact with Sally on a couple of occasions and she did arrange taxi for us. And called at the end of the week. We are a self sufficient group and made a lot of our own reservations. However, we did think we would meet with her at least once.

We booked a stay at Villa Amalia on St Maarten and the experience was amazing. Prior to leaving, Mary helped organize all of the information needed to prepare for our groups stay, and once our trip approached and we were on the island Mehdi was excellent at helping arrange for transportation, excursions, and ensuring we were well taken care of. I can't thank the team at Isle Blue enough for helping to make my wife's birthday celebration an unforgettable vacation!! And I cannot forget about the truly marvelous staff at the house (Nadia, Chef T, Chef Nivola, Christine, Suzie, Dayana, and Mr Hodges) who were all amazing by going above and beyond to ensure we were well fed, well taken care of, and having the time of our lives!!

The trip was wonderful, The house we great and the staff on the ground was great. The pre trip "concierge service." was weak at best and not concierge service, but more of a "you can do that through our website" process. 2 examples. We wanted to book multiple massages at the same time. The site won't let you do it. So time wasted trying to book, then multiple emails back and forth to get it booked. Second issues. Days before trip, received email that we need house insurance. I pick the level of insurance and checked out. The next day I got another email saying I had to pick the next tier because of the house level. Yet again logged in (with issues) and added the next level. Just clunky, why not prescribe the level required the first time. Lastly when we got home the charges we scattered out on our card, so trying to figure out what charge went to what was a process, vs just having an invoice or having all the charges come at once with a portfolio of charges. I'm not sure what value Isle Blue provided.

Really wasn’t Isle Blue as much as property I rented. I stayed at Windjamner landing St. Lucia 3 bedroom Villa with ocean view. I could give you 10 reasons I was unhappy but I will start with number one. It is a 3 star property at best masquerading as a 4 star property. The particular Villa I stayed in was old outdated and partially obstructed view. Appliances were 1960 style with oven so old the dials were worn off so you couldn’t read writing. We had to ask for a coffee maker a hair dryer and what property doesn’t have USB ports in modern times. Tile was original but so scratched u almost couldn’t walk on it. Furniture was 1990 heavy dark wood that was out of style. One of major restaurants was being remolded and was closed. The food was average at best with two other restaurants just changing names at night same location. Ice maker never worked all week so staff brought us bagged ice. Air conditioner leaked and ran out on floor and we ran out of hot water when showering every night. Love the island and the people as well as staff but property at least my villa needs a major makeover. Forgot to mention last day that my daughters wallet was stolen from her bedroom. Luckily only one credit card which was easily cancelled and a small amount of cash. They asked if we wanted to fill out paperwork and report it to security but we were leaving that morning when she realized it was missing.

For the most part I (we) were pleased with the Isle Blue experience. The property itself was excellent and in very good condition. The cleaning and mtc staff were friendly, and completed their work efficiently and professionally. We were slightly disappointed to learn that we could not use the kayaks on the open water but had to limit use to the Chalk Sound. Also the hot tub was no longer usable as a hot tub but rather as an ornamental piece. We were not told of this in advance. Also we were not told that in addition to the damage deposit with Isle Blue that we had to leave a 2nd deposit on behalf of the owner with the property manager. Again this was something we were not informed of. Otherwise a beautiful well appointed property. We would recommend the owners consider providing paddle boards for use in the main water system in addition to kayaks for use in the main water body.
