“I ordered a skirt, couple meters of fabric, a hand bag, bangles and earrings. The only disappointment were that the bangles were too small for my hand, but they're lovely and can easily be made into earrings. The fabric was a bit on the thin side, but still lovely. The skirt fabric was slightly heavier yet still perfect for summer and well made. The handbag was very well made and seems quite sturdy, I look forward to using it this summer. The cost of shipping to the US (before the decrease) and tariffs doubled the cost, but even so, I feel the value was still there. I was concerned how shipping would go and how I'd pay the tariff, but DHL, the shipper kept me informed on a timely basis and paying the tariff could not have been easier. I would buy again. Packaging was so careful and well done that I could not have asked for more”

“Every single item that I ordered from iTokri - dresses, clutch bag, handbag, decor and jewellery - was an absolute joy to receive. The fact that the company supports independent fair trade and works directly with craftspeople was a major draw. The care that they put into creating their clothing, jewellery and gift range is vert clear, as is the high quality of craftwork, the exquisite designs, and the environmentally friendly packaging. My order arrived neatly and minimally packaged, which I appreciated, given that so many companies use excess plastic and bubble wrap unnecessarily. Yes, there are international tariffs to pay if you are in the UK (or elsewhere) and they are worth it. The customer care team were responsive each time I had a query, they kept me up to date with my order delivery, and checked in after I received my goods. I will definitely be ordering from them again and recommend highly. It's vital for art, the creative industries, for the sake of living and consuming ethically, that we support businesses like this where we can. I'm happy to do so. All in all, a wonderful shopping experience.”

“Loved the personalised feel of the Handwritten notes to the customer. The Bengal Kantha Embrodery Dupattas were very unique and detailed hand embroidery work but on expensive side. I don't mind it if the proceeds are going to the ladies who have made that kind of meticulous embroidery which is laborious and time consuming. It is worth it!!! For me they are the heirlooms that I can pass it off to younger generations in my family. My sincere request if you can order for the same kind of Kantha work on pure wool/merino wool shawls/stoles.”

“The prints are pretty and the cotton of good quality, but the colors are not fixed and discolor a lot even after several soakings with vinegar and salt. You should warn your customers!”

“I had a great experience with the customer service and the products. The fabrics were great - the included information on the individual product gave me a lot of confidence in purchasing (and is appreciated greatly); the jewellery is more so hit or miss, next time I would choose more carefully. However one point of improvement perhaps for specifically international orders: I appreciate the handmade boxes however it only pulls attention of border control, additionally a detailed list (including size & makeup/ingredients) of shipped items will prevent hopefully unexpected delays & high cost of border control for future customers.”

“I had been your customer probably for more than 5 years. However the recent exp had been pathetic. The order was booked on 14th & delivered on Sunday evening. You are showing consignment dispatched from from Chennai on tuesday morning from Chennai & it takes more than five days to reach another metro city. The courier Co. told me that probably it was dispatched by road to Mumbai & then to Delhi. You should have informed me about long delivery time while order booking. If it was agreeable to me than only booked the order. I realized the consignment travelled 1st from Kannauj UP(manufacturer) to Chennai, repacked & again dispatched Delhi with itokri brand. Not acceptable”
