I’ve made a refund request after my transit flight was cancelled , by then after a lot of efforts calling and E-mailing Kiwi.com .I’ve got nothing at all , not picking up my phone calls and I’ve got only automated replies on their costumer service . (No Refund) the ticket price was about 288€ Just small piece of advice , Do not Ever book with Kiwi.com , there are Plenty of options out there . Have a good day

I cancelled the ticket containing 2 flights in less than 12 hours of purchase hoping I could get something back. I waited for a response which came after the flight took place with a negative response blaming the airlines. I'm sorry I didn't read the comments about them and didn't contact the airlines directly because I had a better chance of getting something back.I later bought the ticket again with a new date and even though they appeared to me as a first option, being cheaper with them, I avoided them and that's what I will do from now on.

The worst booking company, they mentioned they will contact the airline to refund my ticket, then they mentioned the airline "Turkish Airline" refunsed the refund, I contacted Turkish airlines and they sent me official email that they didn;t refuse the refund, and they processes the refund, but then Kiwi.com used another execuses as other way to lie as usual, and they said my ticket non-refundable, so first they cheated then when I shared Turkish airlines confirmation about refund they found another way as fraudelent

Kiwi.com is a rip off. They always show up with the cheapest fares in a search, but it’s totally misleading. Important things like baggage aren’t included or even made clear, and by the time you add what you actually need, you end up paying way more than the price you first saw. It’s a bait-and-switch. You’re better off booking direct with the airline — at least you know what you’re paying for.

Vor einigen Monaten habe ich Flüge für mehrere Personen auf Kiwi gebucht, da mir die Seite bei Google Flights vorgeschlagen wurde. Nach bereits wenigen Tagen wurde ein Teil der Reise grundlos storniert und Kiwi hat mir zugesichert, dass ich mein Geld zurück bekommen… Jetzt, einige Monate und ungefähr 15 Telefonate später, wurden ca. 900€ von 1450€ zurückerstattet. In den Anrufen wurde mir immer nur gesagt, dass ich noch weiter abwarten soll und das restliche Geld noch erstattet wird. Seit ca. 3 Monaten hat sich allerdings, trotz etlicher Anrufe, nichts mehr getan. GANZ KLARE WARNUNG: Trotz der Empfehlung von KIWI auf Google Flights rate ich dringend davon ab, hier eine Reise zu buchen!!! Die positiven Bewertungen kann ich mir nicht erklären. Das Unternehmen handelt eindeutig betrügerisch und der Telefonservice ist absolut inkompetent! Die Rückerstattung ist extrem undurchsichtig und überhaupt nicht nachvollziehbar! AUF KEINEN FALL ÜBER KIWI BUCHEN!!!

Booked itinerary and was quickly informed that one leg was canceled. I requested a refund and they partially refunded and kept $900. I looked up the canceled flight and I see that isn't canceled at all. This is theft. They have stolen $900 of my money. Please avoid

Terrible experience with Kiwi.com — customer left stranded, no compensation I had a booking with Kiwi.com (reservation #660998261) which was unexpectedly canceled at the last moment. While I eventually received a refund, the delay and poor handling of the situation left me with no viable alternative. Due to Kiwi’s lack of support and late communication, I was unable to rebook the same flight — the new ticket price had already increased to €400, compared to the original €230 I paid. And their assistant confirmed that ticket I bought. As a result, I had to cancel my trip at all. I reached out to Kiwi asking for compensation for this clear loss and emotional stress — but received only robotic responses, citing their “policies” with no empathy or solution. This was not a simple inconvenience — it was a missed opportunity, wasted time, emotional stress, and a complete disregard for the customer. ⚠️ Be very cautious when booking with Kiwi.com. If something goes wrong, you will be left on your own. They hide behind fine print and templates, instead of providing real service. I’m now pursuing other channels — legal and public — to make sure this doesn’t happen to others.

I canceled a long-haul flight from Vienna to Los Angeles through Kiwi.com and was told a refund would be issued. It took them over three years to do anything — and when they finally did, they refunded less than €30, not to my original payment method, but as site credit that expires in 3 months. That’s not a refund — that’s a sales tactic. They only mentioned a monetary refund was possible after I contacted them again, and even then gave no explanation about how they calculated the amount. Three years of waiting for this? The communication was vague, customer service was slow, and the whole experience felt deliberately evasive. If you ever need to cancel or get support, Kiwi.com will leave you hanging. I’ll never book with them again.

Booked a flight but then can’t find the reference number they use to the airline itself. So I’m wondering if they really booked my flight coz I can’t even get a refund. No explanations given why the airline can’t give me a refund even though my flight is 4 months away

Terrible Experience – Never Again with Kiwi! This was one of the worst travel experiences I’ve ever had. I noticed that my name was entered incorrectly and immediately tried to get it changed – but no one helped me. I spent hours in customer service queues, talked to multiple agents, and still got absolutely nowhere. In the end, I had to book a completely new (and very expensive) flight out of my own pocket. To make things worse, Kiwi books flights using a different email address, so I couldn’t access my booking directly with the airline. They refused to give me the email they used, which meant I couldn’t make any changes myself. It was a complete nightmare. I would never recommend using Kiwi to anyone. The lack of support, transparency, and flexibility was shocking. Avoid them at all costs!

If I could give zero stars I would. I ended up spending a lot more money than I should have booking with this travel agent. Save your money and avoid kiwi at all costs. I was not directly advised I required a visa for a self transfer at Mumbai and it ended up costing me an extra $3500 AUD to get home. Not only that, but they are useless when it comes to obtaining a refund. Whatever money you spend with them is gone for good. Oh and also, they overcharge drastically for flights. Worst travel experience so far

I paid $1,850 for a trip to Iran through Kiwi.com. Due to the war, the trip was cancelled — obviously beyond my control. Yet Kiwi.com only refunded $1,640 and kept $210 without giving a clear explanation. When I contacted them to ask why, their response wasn’t helpful — in fact, it turned defensive and borderline threatening. Instead of supporting travelers during a crisis, they took advantage of the situation. It’s unacceptable to penalize customers for something they had no control over. Kiwi.com clearly prioritizes profit over basic decency and responsibility. I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking with them — especially for trips that could be affected by global events.

Horrible company. I booked a flight to arrive at my final destination on a specific date and time, but as soon as I made the payment, they sent me an email with a different arrival date. I tried calling Kiwi support numerous times, but they couldn't resolve the issue—even after I spoke with a "manager." I eventually called the airline directly, and they resolved it in less than 10 minutes. Never again!!!

Formal Complaint and Urgent Refund Request Due to Medical Emergency and Lack of Support I am writing to formally raise a serious complaint and demand immediate attention to my case. I booked a total of 12 flights through your platform for myself and my family. Due to a severe and life-threatening accident, I underwent emergency spinal surgery and was unconscious and hospitalized for several weeks. Consequently, not only was I unable to travel, but my entire family also canceled their trips — and to this day, not a single euro has been refunded to us. Let me be absolutely clear: I was in critical condition, with no physical ability to access my account or manage any cancellations. Nobody else had access to my Kiwi account, and I was left completely helpless in a hospital bed. Flight 1 – Rome to Copenhagen Booking Number: 640225212 | Amount: €88 This flight was booked by another person on my behalf using their own Kiwi account. I was unable to board the flight due to the accident, which occurred less than 48 hours before departure. A standard refund request was submitted — instead of the medically justified refund that was rightfully due to me. Unsurprisingly, no refund has been issued, and no further communication has been received. Flight 2 – Helsinki to Rome Booking Number: 640548425 | Amount: €167 This flight was booked directly through my own account. During the entire period I was unconscious, my friends and family tried desperately and repeatedly to contact Kiwi.com and the airline to cancel the booking due to medical emergency. Kiwi support’s only response was that all requests must be made via the app — a completely unreasonable and absurd expectation from a person in a hospital bed, barely clinging to life. To make matters worse, the airline made it clear that since the booking and payment were handled by Kiwi, the responsibility for any refund lies with you. You failed to act, and I was left with no recourse despite having clear medical documentation and multiple contact attempts on record. Supporting Documentation I have gathered all necessary documentation, including: • Medical certificates • Hospitalization records • Screenshots and email chains of all attempts to contact Kiwi and the airline • Flight bookings and traveler information These are ready for immediate submission. My Demand This situation is not only unacceptable — it’s deeply unethical. I have been a paying customer in a medical emergency, met with complete silence and refusal to help from Kiwi. I now demand a full or partial refund for these flights based on the severity of my case and the company’s clear failure to provide support. I am an international student without private travel insurance, recovering from a serious operation with limited resources. Kiwi’s refusal to act with even basic decency during this crisis has caused enormous emotional and financial distress. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will be forced to escalate it through consumer protection authorities, social media platforms, and public travel forums. Others deserve to know how Kiwi treats customers in times of genuine need.

If you don't want to lose your money, don't use this Kiwi airline. I bought a flight with flight protection in case of any mishap, and when I told them I wouldn't be able to make the flight on time due to an incident, they told me they weren't responsible for that. And why would I pay for travel protection if it's useless? I'm not giving it a 0 rating because I can't.

Não me enviaram os números de reserva para fazer o checkin e com isso tive de pagar 250€ desnecessários. Mais adianto que por causa dessa situação tive de viajar em família com lugares separados.
