Appalling. Kiwi kept the money from a fully refundable airline ticket for almost 3 years. Then they refunded not to the original form of payment! but instead provided a kiwi voucher and told me it was usable for both lodging or air travel. Turns out after several unsuccessful attempts to use it, and much time communication with their USELESS customer service, it could only be used on an airline flight. When I was finally able to find a flight to use it for, I had trouble again redeeming it. I contacted customer service and was told the voucher expired earlier that day. I complained because it should have been valid through that day. Customer service informed me that they were in a different time zone and it expired in their time zone, not where I bought the ticket. I asked kiwi to extend the voucher through the end of the day so I could complete my purchas. Their response? " NO! You should not have waited until the last minute and you wouldn't have these problems.". DON'T BUY TRAVEL FROM KIWI EVER

I was sure I was reserving a flight on 10 AM the website didn't show me military time or 22 HS so on the end the flight were wrong. Now they ask a lot of money to change it. Use other.

Detailed Review of Kiwi.com: Absolutely Ridiculous Business Practices and Total Lack of Consumer Protection I am beyond frustrated with Kiwi.com's handling of my situation. This company’s complete disregard for U.S. consumer protection laws and its unwillingness to resolve issues promptly or ethically is infuriating. Here is my experience in detail so others can avoid falling into the same trap: Violation of U.S. Law: 24-Hour Cancellation Rule Under U.S. Department of Transportation regulations, consumers are legally entitled to a full refund if they cancel an airline ticket within 24 hours of purchase, provided the flight is booked more than seven days before departure. Kiwi.com blatantly states in their correspondence that they do not follow this law, even though they sell flights to U.S. consumers. This is a clear violation of federal law and an outright rejection of standard consumer protections. In my case, I canceled my ticket less than five minutes after booking. This was an honest mistake, and I immediately followed all the proper steps to cancel. Despite this, Kiwi.com issued only a partial refund of $65.31 out of a total charge of over $3,000. This is unacceptable and highly unethical. Months of Waiting for a Resolution Kiwi.com's customer service is appalling. Despite multiple follow-ups over several months, I have received no meaningful updates or resolution. Their responses have been nothing but generic, copy-pasted excuses with empty promises to "notify me soon." As of today, I am still waiting for my refund, and the case has not been closed. Their team repeatedly mentions they are "waiting on airlines," despite this being irrelevant under U.S. law. The responsibility for honoring the 24-hour cancellation policy lies with Kiwi.com as the travel agency. Blaming airlines is nothing more than an attempt to deflect responsibility. Poor Business Practices Kiwi.com's refusal to refund my money highlights their disregard for ethical business practices. They: Do not adhere to U.S. consumer protection laws. Place the burden on customers to chase refunds, which they are legally entitled to. Offer only partial refunds for valid cancellations. Force customers to endure a lengthy and grueling refund process without resolution. This level of customer service is beyond unacceptable, and their practices feel more like a scam than a legitimate business. I would give this company zero stars if I could. My Plans Were Ruined Not only did Kiwi.com fail to honor my refund request, but they also caused undue stress and frustration. I was unable to board any of the flights I had mistakenly booked and canceled. Adding insult to injury, I had to spend additional time and money rectifying this situation, all while waiting for Kiwi.com to return the money they owe me. Strongly Recommend Avoiding Kiwi.com If you value your time, money, and sanity, do yourself a favor and avoid Kiwi.com at all costs. There are plenty of other travel booking platforms that: Follow U.S. consumer protection laws. Offer better customer service. Handle cancellations and refunds promptly and fairly. Legal Action Pending I have already begun preparations to sue Kiwi.com for the full refund amount of over $3,000, as well as damages for the undue stress and wasted time caused by their non-compliance. I will ensure this situation gets the attention it deserves and serves as a warning to others. Kiwi.com has been nothing but a nightmare to deal with, and I would not recommend their services to anyone. For a company operating in the travel industry, their failure to comply with basic consumer laws and inability to resolve issues in a timely manner are completely unacceptable. Use another platform. It’s not worth the hassle.

Paid for extra bags. They never forwarded this payment to Norse. Had to pay twice or lose my flight. Now they simply won’t refund the payment. Absolute scam artists. Do not use. Do not trust.

I had the worst experience with Kiwi.com, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. All I needed was to add two letters to my name on a booking – a simple request that turned into an absolute nightmare. Despite reaching out well before my trip, I was met with broken links, unhelpful responses, and zero accountability. The airline informed me that Kiwi.com was the only one who could make the change, but Kiwi.com failed to provide proper support. Their lack of communication and broken processes left me feeling completely helpless. The stress of this situation caused me to have multiple panic attacks, severely impacting my mental and physical health. Instead of addressing my concerns, Kiwi.com made what should have been a straightforward process into something unnecessarily complicated and traumatic. This company’s lack of care for its customers is appalling. I wouldn’t recommend Kiwi.com to anyone I care about. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, avoid them at all costs.

Kiwi.com ruined my trip. Their platform failed to flag that I needed a transit visa, and I was denied boarding twice. Their "Premium Service Protection" is worthless—they offered no real help and told me to rebook at my own expense after their failure. Customer support was unhelpful, recycling the same generic responses with no accountability. I had to spend hundreds to fix their mistakes. Kiwi.com is unreliable, unprofessional, and a disaster for travelers. Avoid at all costs!

Kiwi.com Stole My Money and Refuses to Refund It! I want to share my horrible experience with @Kiwi.com, so no one else has to go through what I did. In early October 2024, I booked tickets through Kiwi.com for a flight from Tel Aviv to Abu Dhabi, with a connection in Larnaca. A few hours before departure, the first leg of the journey, operated by Cyprus Airways, was canceled due to the situation in Israel. This cancellation made it impossible for me to complete my trip. Since then, it’s been a NIGHTMARE trying to get my money back. Cyprus Airways confirmed on 18 December 2024 that they authorized the refund for my tickets and sent the funds to Kiwi.com. However, despite multiple emails and follow-ups, Kiwi.com still hasn’t refunded me a single cent! Let me be clear: it’s been THREE MONTHS since the flight was canceled, and Kiwi.com has shown zero urgency in resolving this. Instead, I’ve been left chasing them endlessly, only to receive vague responses and no progress. Not only have I lost nearly $1,000 on this booking, but I’ve also wasted countless hours trying to get the refund I’m rightfully owed. This company’s lack of transparency, accountability, and respect for their customers is appalling. If you’re considering using Kiwi.com for your travel plans, think twice. Their service is unreliable, and their refund process is a joke. They’re quick to take your money but refuse to give it back when things go wrong. Avoid Kiwi.com at all costs. Share this to warn others and hold them accountable for their awful practices. #KiwiCom #TravelScam #RefundMyMoney #TravelNightmare #CustomerRights

NEVER AGAIN! They sold me ticket for a flight wich didnt exist. I found that when I reached airport. Now they refuse to refund because " it was not their mistake but it was airline mistake". But this doesnt change the fact that they got the money for the ticket.

On the night of January 6, I booked a flight ticket on kiwicom, and then my flight information was sent to a Chinese public mailbox and a Chinese mobile phone number. I later received an unknown threatening phone call from China. I immediately contacted kiwicom to cancel my flight. As a result, they responded that there would be no refund for canceled flights. At the same time, they denied that my personal information was sent to China. Even when I showed them screenshots of the email and Chinese mobile phone number they sent to China, they still denied it. I reported the matter to the European Union police. The European Union police responded that they had accepted the case. However, searching for related keywords such as kiwicom found that similar things happened to people every day. I hope that if you encounter the same situation, you will actively report it to the European Union police. In this way, more people will be more likely to cause the relevant EU agencies to thoroughly investigate the illegal behavior of the website.

One of the worst service that i have experienced in my entire life. Response is very very terrible and most of the representatives don’t have an idea about the solutions. If you have any trouble in your travel they are there just to mess up your time and increase your mental stress.

PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE! AVOID KIWI.COM AT ALL COSTS!!! As others have said, they do not help at all if anything goes wrong (and I'm only talking about things that are within their responsibility. I'm not someone that expects anything extra, because of x, y, or z). Instead of helping, they lie and frustrate you. In our case, they made us pay literally thousands of dollars more to be able to fly home! What made it tens times worse is, they had us believe we are booked on a flight, only to go to the airport, to find they didn't actually book any tickets! Only to then receive an email from them at that point stating they were unable to book the tickets, and to deal with the ailine directly! So we were forced to pay thousands to get on to the flight that they said was already booked! I cannot imagine what we would have done if we did not have the funds, or friends/family at our holiday destination! Absolutely disgusting and pathetic excuse of a company!

I will never book through Kiwi ever again. We opted to pay for Disruption Protection when I booked the flights. On our trip home on January 2, 2025, from Punta Cana to Edmonton, they booked us with 2 separate airlines. Our Flair Airlines flight from Punta Cana to Toronto was a half hour late. Then it took Flair 2 hours, for god knows what reason, to drop the luggage on the conveyer belt. As a result we missed our connection with WestJet. WestJet would not honour our tickets because Kiwi books in a way that they will not honour. So we booked our own flights home with Air Canada (because at this point we trust no one else) for $2000, which was the same price for every carrier that could get us home as soon as possible. We had to pay for a hotel, meals and an extra day for our 5 pets at their pet resort back home. I have been communicating with Kiwi through my husband’s account because I book everything but under his name. The final word from kiwi is that the Disruption Protection does not cover baggage delays. I quote right off their Disruption Protection description “Disruption Protection covers you if your trip gets disrupted because airlines changed, canceled, or significantly delayed any part of it.” There is NOTHING mentioned about baggage. The terms outlined are in one paragraph - so, I certainly didn’t miss the small print. We paid over $3000 for the one way home when we originally booked through Kiwi. Then, had to pay another $2000 to get home from our half way point. Do not use them at all, ever.

Completa estafa.

I have an upcoming trip and I totally understand that I didn’t get the trip interruption and I don’t qualify for the refund . But just a day before there is a death in my immediate family and lost my dear one . Needed money badly so tried calling Kiwi and see if there could be 1 time exception since very unfortunate situation came up . But instead of having a heart and feelings they simply said that they can’t do anything as i don’t qualify for the refund . All I want is think differently and do have some exceptions in some situations . Would have appreciated if they could have atleast given me refund some portion if not all as I very badly needed financial help . Plz try to help people which kiwi.com agents never tried .

Worst Ever. Do Not Fly with Kiwi. The ‘Flexi Fare’ is a make believe fairytale which they will not honour. Their app incorrectly booked me on a crazy 3 airplane, 2 airline, 12 hour journey instead of the direct flight and then they refused to fix the itinerary and refused to offer a refund or credit. They are straight up lying criminals. Never again.

I had a horrific experience with them also. I’m traveling within Canada and found them on Kayak. Kiwi listed their price but failed to clarify that the currency is in Euros, so when the charge hit my credit card it was much more than I agreed to. Worse yet, their customer service is horrendous. They’re petulant, argumentative, ignore what you’ve told them, repeat themselves and refuse to fix the problem whatsoever. I’d NEVER USE KIWI.COM AGAIN.

Kiwi booked a transit for me between Medellin to London where I was late to check in, so I had to rebook for next day with another airline. Kiwi waisted my time and cost me money and I had be at work too. Thank you for your bad service kiwi. I don’t want to use kiwi again unless it finds a way to resolve this issue. It’s soo stupid, how can it not tell there would be check issues with my booking. So dull kiwi.
