The Kohls stores are amazing. Kohls.com on the other hand is terrible. I ordered an item for Christmas on November 21. It says it was to be delivered on Nov 27. The tracking said it was 30 min away from my house on November 27 for about a week. I contacted Kohks.com on December 9. They told me I could not just have the same item sent back out, but had to return it and if I wanted I could repurchase the item. I had used $50 of kohls cash so I could not repurchase the item, but they told me 3-5 days, so I just waited. After about a week of no refund I called back. Still no refund. So they then told me it would be up to 30 days. So I bought my son something else (luckily he is 21 and understands). After over 30 days I contacted them back. This time I’m told that because I didn’t use my kohls card, I had to contact my bank to get my refund and that Kohks couldn’t do anything. They said the bank was already made aware and I had to contact them. As soon as I did that I would get my kohls cash back (the amount on my debit card was $31). I asked to talk to a supervisor and then they hung up on me. My bank, of course, had no idea what they were talking about, but they are trying to stop charges on it. I will NEVER order from Kohls again. Be AWARE.

Today is 1/12/2024 - I purchased 2 crossbody purses on-line on 12/30/23. They were subsequently "lost" after being scanned in by my local post office. Post office could not tell me where the package was and to place a claim with Kohls.com I called customer service and they said tracking states on 1/10 that its on its way to the next facility. It should not have to go to another facility, just to me. Kohls told me to wait after the last scan before they will consider a credit. I asked to talk to a supervisor, they said he would call - he still has not contacted me. My Kohls bills has come to pay for the purchase, which I still have not received the products ordered. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED WITH THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Kohls Cash - what a joke!! So far this year I have had over 200 bucks in Kohls cash that I was not able to use... Totally got the runaround on the website to get them in my wallet and was not able to use. Very disappointed in their tactics. Won't be doing that again. Sad that these places do that to hard working folks!

Incorrectly profiled my wife as a shoplifter. No apology and very poor attitude even after the clearly false accusation. Done with them for life and I always let others know it.

I placed an order for Christmas presents on Kohls.com on November 27 2023. It never arrived. I went to the store and they said they couldn’t help me. I emailed ontrack several times and they said it’s on its way. Tracking said they received data but not package from seller. No tracking information. Automated system says on its way. It never arrived. This order was Christmas presents for a family member that came home for Christmas to no presents. I got to talk to a customer service representative finally after several attempts and being on hold for 30 minutes. After explaining the situation I was put on hold again. She then said she would cancel my order and request a refund. I said that’s it? I’m supposed to be ok that you ruined someone’s Christmas and accept no responsibility? Not even an apology. She put me on hold again and then came back and said she credited my account for compensation. I said how much and she hesitated then said $8.00 I said that’s all my business is worth to you is $8? Worst service ever

Yesterday I bought a pair of shoes and noticed the following day that they were two different sizes. I took the shoes back to the Middletown store but they didn't have the matching pair. I'm assuming someone is walking around with two different sizes. They looked the shoe up online and it was out of stock. I decided to go to the Tylersville store a d they did have the size I needed. Walked up to customer service and the show is ringing up at a higher price. The customer service rep- Robert would not honor the sale price. He said I'd have to purchase the size I needed and go to the Middletown store to see if they would honor the price. I wish I would have asked for a manager because Ashely at the Middletown store was so friendly. I told her what had happened and she was so apologetic for what happened. HATS OFF TO THE MIDDLETOWN store- they are always so nice and helpful!!!

Kohls sent a pair of pants with a different SKU # from the pair I purchased online. Tried to return and they wouldn't return because of wrong SKU. I called 5 times to customer service and visited store 3 times. I had to call customer service while in line at store so they could communicate on how to refund item. The customer service told the store to keep pants and they would issue refund on their end. So finally I thought problem resolved but it's been almost a month and no refund. So I called customer service about refund and they basically said sorry about your luck it shows we refunded the money but it does not show up on bank statement. So basically they stole money from me and said there is nothing you can do about it. I know why they received a 1.5 star should be 0 star. Calling attorney general office next.

Came into store to purchase items for my wife and was accosted by three police officers telling me lost prevention assumed I was going to steal was questioned and told not to steal very embarrassed and disturbed. Had to keep my composure. If you are black please be careful at location hwy 100 West Allis Wisconsin. Stand behind review 100%. Still profiling sad to see. Please disregard the one star they don't deserve.

Never again. They should get a half star. If you try and return something from Black Friday sales they will refund you the amount minus the discounts they give you for BF item, totally ridiculous, but they will let you go through the department and find an exact value item. I spent over an hour trying to find two 9.99 items and I could not even combine the two items (9.99 x 2 = $19.98) and find one item for this price (much easier to do if you think about it). Even after the store manager got involved, so I had to take two LT shirts, which do not fit regular sized men, but Kohl's has most of their men's clothes as Tall. Everything on sale at Black Friday was Tall--what a scam. Then on top of it, after I voiced my frustration with the transaction the manager, he gave me the refund Kohl's dollar speech that someone in the comments experienced. Their policy on returns is a rip-off, and I will not buy anything else from Kohl's. Theses are the rules for returns that are not clear; If Amazon gives me a discount and I return the item they refund me the line item price I paid. Kohl's takes your refunded amount and takes away the discount from the line item price and refunds the balance----not cool and deceptive marketing. Never again. Here are the reprinted rules: 1. The item must be the same price, it cannot be over and cannot be below, it MUST BE THE SAME 2. If you used a discount code then you WILL NOT be able to return the item 3. If all the of above are met then the item needs to be the EXACT SAME BRAND of the clothing item you are exchanging (this is close to impossible). Smarmy management and shady sales practices. Now I'm stuck with 2 jerseys sized LT that do not fit around the torso and can't return except for another Tall size that will not fit the torso of most men who are regular L or XL. Ironically the website infers that you can wear the LT like a regular size. Misleading and not the case.

On 11/30/23 I called customer service regarding an order I placed because I was overcharged. I wanted it corrected. When I called Kohls CS no one would assist me because I "don't have a Kohls Charge Card" I attempted to explain I was overcharged and just wanted a refund for the overcharged amount. However, Kohls makes the process EXTREMELY difficult when their CSR's can't speak English well or understand English well. After being on the phone for over 82 minutes, I asked for a CSR Manager, the CSR hung up on me. I called back, re explained the issue, requested a refund, and to speak to a CSR Manager. This time I was on the phone another 46 minutes. Once again, I was hung up for requesting a CSR Manager to assist. I called a 3rd time, re explained the situation and how I've been hung up on, was over charged and asked for a CSR Manager (especially since, calls are recorded) the CSR told me there was no CSR Managers, and that my order had been completely cancelled without my knowledge and or consent. I looked on Kohls website and it did not show my order as cancelled. On 12/1/23 I called back again, I re explained the over charge, being hung up on and asked why my order didn't show on their site it was cancelled the requested both a refund for the overpayment and to speak to a CSR Manager. The call needs to be escalated at this point. I was told I will have to re order the entire order, I'm unable to use my now expired Kohls cash and 20% coupon and it will take 5-7 days for the ccard I used to be reimbursed. No wonder Kohls is going down the toilet. Kohls, as a CSR Manager myself, you need to listen to your calls, keep wait times down to a decent amount, provide proper training, and escalation options, and hire employees who can understand and speak English and other languages. God help any customer who has to deal with this company!

Horrible customer service! I did an online purchase of $210 but the online receipt I received shows the price as $0.00, which is ridiculous enough. However, even more ridiculous thing is when I called their customer center for issuing me corrected receipt, they said it is not possible. I don't understand how come you operate a business if you can't produce a receipt correctly which is the very basic part of trade! The customer support people talk like robots, awful experience!

I purchased a suit coat for an interview, when I got home and opened the bag I found that the security tag had not been removed. I had to drive 30 min back to the store to have it taken off, when I asked about compensation for my time, fuel, and I convenience I was offered $10 Kohl’s cash. Wow very disappointing. This was 100% your error and all you can offer is $10 Kohl’s cash?

I ordered a sweater and was excited to receive it, however when the sweater arrived there were three whole on the left sleeve and a hold at the neck. Also, I ordered a couple sweaters last week which was scheduled to be delivered on Saturday, 10/14/23 and Lasership delivered the package to the wrong address. Now today, 10/17/23 and once again the package also was delivered to the wrong address. I give up on Kohl's and will no longer shop with them.

If you have store credit card open don't get married. I tried changing my name twice and they refuse to change my name even though I am providing them all information they asked. First time they saked to send a copy of the curt order with driver license or social security card I did next time they asked me to fax it to them. I spend $8 trying to fax it to them and ones again I received a letter asking me to fax the proof to them. I'm done with them. Horrible service when you need it.

At the Aurora, Illinois location, I had a negative experience with a very rude associate. When I was next in line, she told me rudely to go to the self-checkout. So I went to the self check out, and when I was there I had trouble with the machine. The same lady came by and acted like I was trying to steal something and being very rude and talking down to me. If she bad time to come by to be rude to me at the self-checkiut, she should’ve just rung me up at the desk to begin with. Worst experience ever at a Kohl’s store, please teach your associates to be treat customers with respect!!

Kohls customer service is awful. Fraud detection unit is excuse to harass customers. Difficult to work with, no 2 reps will tell the same info. They approved my credit line, let me charge items, sent me a card, and immediately blocked it. Incoherent customer reps don't help. Refused to help me and different reps had different reasons. Unorganized. Go to Walmart or Target and save yourself aggravation.

They have no verification measure to check emails when you create an account. Anybody can enter anybody else's address...and bam...somebody else have an account on their site with your email address. It happened to me: sombody entered my email address to create a kohls account, for security reasons I went and changed the password so whoever did this could not get access. Getting an account deleted it's near to impossibile, once you're in you won't get out, your email is in their system, you will get promotial spam...the whole 9 yards. Chatting with ther customer support is like bouncing up a wall, they refuse to delete your account, they start asking your for your data, name, telephone number and address, I refused to give them my address and telephone number, I just told them my name but in retrospect I think I shouldn't have. They will just deactivate your account but your email and name is in the system and you will continue to get spam email without consent. I think it's ridiculous that a company do not have systems to validate email, and will refuse to delete accounts.

Kohl's continues to run 30% off coupons that are not good on most products in store or online. Seems like everything is excluded except their store brands. Their store brands are much lower quality than national store brands. Kohl's Cash is a total joke - you have to use it the following week (after the sale ends) or lose it. The stores are dated, disorganized, and dreary. I won't be back.

I made an online purchase I receive my order. It was too small. I don’t have a car. There is no store in my city. I am disabled. I explained that over and over. I asked if the email return slip can be sent to me. I was told that my purchase had to be over $300 in order for me to get a return slip. This was not stated on the online service it wasn’t stated before my money was submitted. This is unfair. It will cost me $50 $25 each way in order for me to get my money back so I will end up with six dollars this is. Horrible as a senior citizen A disabled citizen Citizen and the person that tried to help me was working from home, and the supervisor would not even talk to me open that they would understand. This is the worst treatment I have ever received. I will never ever order or come into the store again the policy needs to be changed. Or either it should be stated online there was no customer service for me at all
