“Buyitdirect...just not from them Bought a monitor online (Lenovo ThinkVision) from Laptops Direct which was delivered within days. This is where the bang stops. The webcam was faulty. Asked for the unit to be picked up and it only took their courier "service" x3 attempts to actually do so, as they couldn't locate an address in W1 (sic !)... 2 weeks later and without even consulting me, they just sent me a refund (- shipping cost) when I had clearly asked them to fix the issue and ship back the unit. Pathetic from start to finish.”

“I've been waiting for over 3 weeks for a laptop to be delivered. My son started school 2 weeks ago and has missed out due this issue. Regular reassurances from customer services that they will follow-up and get back to me - no communication has been forthcoming and i'd had to spend significant time myself chasing this up. Other tech retailers can delivery within 24 hours - will definitely not be re-using LaptopsDirect and will advise others to avoid.”

“Delivery certaily went to plan. I wondered why this notebook was so cheap when compared to similar ones and the reason is that the keyboard keys cannot be read from an angle of anything less than 45 degrees. This really should be stated in the description .”

“I bought a refurbished computer with free antivirus. I picked up the computer shortly after purchase but had to go back for the antivirus software. Whilst I'm very pleased with the computer, it was not all plain sailing as initially, the web cam and microphone didn't work. I traced this to a driver problem and it's now fine. If I'd been aware of the terms and conditions of the antivirus, I wouldn't have gone back for it - Bank details are required.”

“After another supplier let me down by not stocking my order for over a month, I turned to Laptops Direct. Got my order within a few days, no fuss. Good communication throughout on the progress of the delivery so I knew when to arrange for someone to wait home. Only complaint (and the reason for dropping a star) was the follow-up call shortly after placing the order. This would have been great, and was certainly very friendly, but ultimately it was a hard sell for insurance which I thought was a bit grubby - if I wanted insurance I would have bought it on the website. Other than that, a good experience and I will be using them again.”

“I work in the IT industry and do some Purchasing with IT Suppliers, this transaction was i have to say a personal purchase and not for work and i do have a reasonable understanding of what should be expected in terms of SLA's in supply! put it this way they have completely surpassed all my expectations. Laptops Direct put the customer first in every way. other big service providers should come along and be taught how to treat a customer, lets be honest there is a lot who could learn a thing or too from these guys.”

“This phone is great and does everything I could want it to do. Delivery was faster then expected, I had no reason to go back to "Laptops Direct" so cant comment on their customer service. The price of this phone is brilliant and I have recommended this particular model to several friends. The only negative to me was when you think you are paying a certain price and then a delivery charge appears! However I suppose there are no vehicles using free fuel and none of us work for free but I prefer to see delivery charges built into the price. Saying that I am a happy customer overall and would definitely use "Laptops Direct" again.”
