“I bought a refurbished chromebook for my daughter. The website was clear and the email notification of the sale came through quickly. There was an issue with the payment at my daughters end, but this was resolved quickly. My only issue was that although I got an expected date when it would be ready, I didn't receive the email saying it was ready to collect until after I had collected it! Otherwise all good and the service at the shop on collection was great.”

“I bought a monitor and the estimated delivery was before or on December 31. I'm here waiting the delivery that obviously won't show up today and I can't track the package. I'm thinking about ask a money refund to buy other monitor in another store.”

“Speak as you find.....this was my second purchase from laptops direct and I am happy. First purchase was a recon laptop 3 years ago, happy with that. This purchase is recent and so I cant give much info other than this recon phone was a good price, described accurately, fast delivery and it works ..... so far so good.”

“Pleasantly surprised. After twice being disappointed after buying refurbished laptops from separate companies which didn’t actually work, I was a little hesitant but decided to give Laptops Direct a try. Can’t fault the laptop. It was well packed, arrived quickly and happy with the price too”

“Cancelled my order as they claim they ran out of stock. Checked the website and its available at a higher price! I had to call them numerous times to find out what was going on. They lied about the real reason, it was an error, they lied about calling me back, they lied about the refund. Refunded immediately once I called Amazon payments. Trading standards are now involved. Avoid this cowboy company at all costs. You have been warned”
