“I had my scooter stolen, they have done absolutely nothing and said this is due my security not being up to their standards which is the thickness or branding of the chain. I've had a lot of security on my bike and it was in a safe place. They declined any claims for me. Worst insurance I ever used.”

“Change of bike paying off 500 in cash for the new bike and they want money for the old bike that is rusting in the garden and wount start .... great staff can’t even give a canlelation price 🧨🤬🤬🤬”

“My son has held policy with Lexham for just over a year. I am the guarantor on the polucy as he us under 18 years old. A month before the policy was due for renewal my son was involved in an incident in which the third party admitted full ilability. As a result the thurd party insurers have made him a diabolical offer and decided to write his motorcycle off. Lexham have basically refused to have any involvement, saying it wont make any difference to the settlement offer. I have dealt with this solely on my own. Lexham have now decided, 6 weeks after the incident, that they would inform us that my sons no-claims duscount has been suspended. This has increased his total policy by 25%! They refuse to talk to me, regardless of the fact that I'm the guarantor and pay the insurance installments, unless my son is present. I've made countless phonecalls, left countless messages, and still havent had anyone that is competant of their job title contact me. Absolutely disgusted by the service, am left wondering why we are paying insurance to such an in-competant company???”

“Was insured with you for 9 month wanted to insure my new scooter by change over and got told by an arrogant young lad you couldn't do that even though you had been taking the money every month for my old scooter won't be using you again.your collegues need to work on their telephone skills”

“I have been charged a direct debit rejected fee as I’ve had no email or phone call telling me when my 2nd payment would be, I paid £300 first initial payment on the 29th of last month and now, they have tried to take out another £206 3 weeks after without any notice what so ever, rubbish customer service”

“Look, I think that you, as a large company like LEXHAM, should focus on hiring people who speak Spanish or Portuguese, knowing that 70% of London drivers are Brazilian, and hiring people without a strong accent, it was very difficult to talk to your attendant, a very strong manchester accent, me and my two friends can hardly understand her”

“I've contracted this insurance last year for my bicycle and I never got a confirmation e-mail, contract or policy. This year it apparently renovated automatically (which was not my intention) and I got all of the above. I'm glad I didn't have any problem, but if I'd have needed I'm not even sure I was insured.”

“I have been with Lexham insurance for a year. When my insurance was due for renewal I had a call with one of the representatives to make a few changes to my policy and he assured me that it will be automatically renewed. Few weeks after the renewal due date I have noticed that no money had been taken from my bank account. I called them and was told that my insurance hasn’t been renewed and that a new quote was £70 more. When I asked for a reason why it hasn’t been renewed on time I was told that someone has probably overlooked it. They agreed to waver the admin fees but I sill had to pay £50 more for my insurance due to somebody else’s mistake. So not only I was driving without insurance for 10 days I also ended up paying more for it. The response from the company was: “There is nothing more we can do for you. Take it leave it. “. Very disappointed”

“Have now checked following a 200 pound admin fee to change insurance to another scooter the same size as a motorcycle and double the price/quote from another insurnace company. Representative has said we cannot get a refund of payment so may have to take them to task through my credit card company. Price of small honda scooter insurance as much as a a teenagers insurnace on their 1st small car. Don't usuallay use price comparison companies but, will in future and so should you. Will complain to local bike shop as they recommended.”
