Look, I think that you, as a large company like LEXHAM, should focus on hiring people who speak Spanish or Portuguese, knowing that 70% of London drivers are Brazilian, and hiring people without a strong accent, it was very difficult to talk to your attendant, a very strong manchester accent, me and my two friends can hardly understand her

I received many quotes from Lexham for a scooter. They gave me quote of £520 and when I wanted to accept it they raised it up to £625. They lie to do a sell, I didn't appreciate.

I am very sad and dissatisfied with Lexham. Because they canceled my insurance without giving me satisfaction of what happened and continue to debit the insurance installments of my bank account. I'll take the case to court if necessary.

I've contracted this insurance last year for my bicycle and I never got a confirmation e-mail, contract or policy. This year it apparently renovated automatically (which was not my intention) and I got all of the above. I'm glad I didn't have any problem, but if I'd have needed I'm not even sure I was insured.

I have been with Lexham insurance for a year. When my insurance was due for renewal I had a call with one of the representatives to make a few changes to my policy and he assured me that it will be automatically renewed. Few weeks after the renewal due date I have noticed that no money had been taken from my bank account. I called them and was told that my insurance hasn’t been renewed and that a new quote was £70 more. When I asked for a reason why it hasn’t been renewed on time I was told that someone has probably overlooked it. They agreed to waver the admin fees but I sill had to pay £50 more for my insurance due to somebody else’s mistake. So not only I was driving without insurance for 10 days I also ended up paying more for it. The response from the company was: “There is nothing more we can do for you. Take it leave it. “. Very disappointed

Have now checked following a 200 pound admin fee to change insurance to another scooter the same size as a motorcycle and double the price/quote from another insurnace company. Representative has said we cannot get a refund of payment so may have to take them to task through my credit card company. Price of small honda scooter insurance as much as a a teenagers insurnace on their 1st small car. Don't usuallay use price comparison companies but, will in future and so should you. Will complain to local bike shop as they recommended.

Just had my first customer service call with a lexham employee after starting the policy and it was like dealing with a robot. No help whatsoever and has left me feeling I wanted to cancel the policy 4 days after inception!

Insurance companies just look to take your money and dont want to cover you. My moped wasn't insured by the until I passed my CBT, the following day, even for Fire and Theft.

i agreed a price with the salesperson and paid in full the next morning i got a complimentary call asking if every thing was ok and i mentioned i had had a scooter stolen without a claiming a year before and on the strength of that i got stitched up for another 90 pounds so i lost my previous bike and got penalised by you also -discusting every thing with any insurance they penalise only the good motorists ,the scumbags pay nothing as usual

Poor customer service. The paperwork you sent me (“statement of fact”) asked if I had a medical condition that required the DVLA to restrict my licence. I don’t have one and therefore was not required to provide any other details of my medical conditions. Your payment team however refused to complete my renewal without me disclosing my private medical condition which the DVLA are aware of but it does not restrict my licence. I refused at first to share this medical information with your team because the “statement of fact” form (prepared by Lexham) didn’t require me to and I do not wish to share this information with any Tom, dick or harry. When I questioned their correctness they got extremely arsey with me on the phone and dug their heels in. After 35 minutes, the lady taking the payment accepted that the form was wrong. I then got an arsey phone call 20 mins later from her manager who did not apologise and would not accept that Lexham had made an error. Instead she tried to push all the blame on to me for not knowing that I have to disclose this information just because the DVLA are aware (which I still am dubious about). I think it’s a disgrace that the insurance companies charge what they do and get away with offering the service they offer. If Lexham Insurance was to remove the reliance on people completely and cut down the admin, it would make the experience bearable rather than me wanting to kill myself after wasting 1.5hrs on the phone to the insurance company each year!!! I would rather pay for 3 years Insurance and if my Bike were sold / stolen, then reclaim a rebate for the remaining duration.

Paid for my insurance today. They took £295.60 out of my bank account but gave me no email, call or text to confirm this aswell as no evidence that I am actually insured. Terrible, that customer service isn’t even open on sundays.

Stay well away from this company. I have just changed addresses mid policy and they charged me £41 for the pleasure. I moved to a house three roads away and my new place has off street lockable parking as opposed to street parking. No discount on the policy was reflected and they refused to wave the “change of address” fee. Read the small print. They know they have you in between a rock and a hard place and frankly will not budge, saying “sorry it’s our policy” When I renew my policy in October it won’t be with this company.

Cancelled my cover whilst I was away on holiday for no valid reason. Then charged £100 for one month of insurance for my bike which should have cost no more than £50. Stay clear of this company!

Not good enough. Sending threatening letters, demanding that I provide proof of no claims. The letter states that they have asked me to send it to them but this is an absolute lie as they never have. I feel that this kind of communication sets a bad tone with a new customer and I would need more convincing if I am to remain one for much longer.

What’s the point in paying insurance on your bike if when it gets stolen you refuse to pay out. Feel completely let down and robbed for the second time!!!
