Established in October 2000 Lexham Insurance was originally formed as a specialist broker handling Moped, Scooter and Motorcycle Insurance. The operation has rapidly expanded and now handles polices for tens of thousands of riders and drivers in the UK and Northern Ireland.

“Was competitive quote for my 1st year and no problems setting it up and getting policy details. 2nd year quote wasn't as good as I wanted so shopped around and found cheaper. One criticism is - make sure you are aware that 5 days before due date they will take payment if you don't tell them you want to cancel (it is in small print) I thought I had a few more days to sort so had to ring them to cancel once they had already took money.”

“Quote was pretty average, call center staff are a pretty mixed bag, some of them are really helpful while others really don't appear to care. Retrieving documents online is a nightmare, clicking the link to the required document will either take a considerable amount of time, time out in the browser, and/or abort your whole session - thus requiring you to log out and start over.”

“I've contracted this insurance last year for my bicycle and I never got a confirmation e-mail, contract or policy. This year it apparently renovated automatically (which was not my intention) and I got all of the above. I'm glad I didn't have any problem, but if I'd have needed I'm not even sure I was insured.”
