Established in October 2000 Lexham Insurance was originally formed as a specialist broker handling Moped, Scooter and Motorcycle Insurance. The operation has rapidly expanded and now handles polices for tens of thousands of riders and drivers in the UK and Northern Ireland.

“The customer support for purchasing and enquiring at least I can say is fantastic, the employee that helped was very informative and very helpful. My insurance was not the cheapest but it has the best excess of all my quotes and it was with a popular company, as of the moment I'm very happy with lexham insurance, haven't had to deal with any claims so if I do may (not) have to rewrite this review.”

“Firstly, I received a prompt and early reminder that the bike insurance was becoming due for renewal. It was about 4 weeks prior to expiry. The quote was very competitive and the renewal notice and statement of facts was well laid out and easy to follow. Only criticism is that the type-font was very small!! Once I decided to renew, a simple 10 minute or so phone call was all it took. I spoke to one person only throughout the process and was not "passed around the houses". The transaction was concluded in this phone call. Simple!”

“your agent was nice and courteous but neither he nor his supervisor understand the law as per CBT requirement for riding a 50cc moped...One only has to pass the CBT once and then as long as your regular drivers license is valid then your one time CBT covers you for eligibility to ride a 50cc moped. Any of the firms that offer the CBT understand this. Your agents at first wanted to hold back my insurance renewal, then finally said they would renew it but that I had to take responsibility for holding the proper license. It took me half an hour on the phone to get to that point. You need to know the rules.”

“Very good service Certificate of insurance was E mailed within a few minutes so we could get the motorcycle through the MOT & tax it the same day. The Insurance was on MID at the post office that day. Policy wording within a couple of days. I thought the person whom I spoke to was very professional & helpful with no stupid Questions or obstacles. I will certainly use you again. Thank you very much.”

“1. Good to actually speak to someone on the phone without "press this and press that". 2. Everyone we (Mum, me and Auntie) have dealt with have been very helpful and treated us as important - not just another person who wants to take out insurance. 3. Very impressed with last renewal - advised it wasn't worth insuring for fire and theft due to value of bike - so saving me money.”

“Very friendly and helpful. Quotes cheaper than anywhere else. Response to further enquires made by email very promptly answered. Only thing I would say is they did not advise that the fully comprehensive insurance was taken out with 2 different insurance companies, (1 third party fire and theft and one accidental damage) and so when paper work arrived I was a bit confused as to what insurance I had got. Query was answered promptly and efficiently. Would use again.”
