Found these guys through a comparison website. They stood out because the excess on their bike policies was £500 instead of £1000. The service was good and the documents came through fast by email.

Very good service on phone and excellent quote. Disappointed though that broker fees not clearly shown anywhere. Thought this was law.

my request was handled efficiently. I found it difficult at times to understand the consultant due to accent but he was most gracious and repeated himself when necessary. i did find the phone call quite long as i was at work.

Can only comment on setting up insurance as have never used this company before nor made any claim. Found call centre staff efficient and courteous.

All my calls to BT landline no's. are free so your 0845/0870 no's. are expensive I had a job to find a direct dial no.

I have found the customer service that I have received to be excellent. When I recently moved house and found out that my insurance didn't cover me at the new address, and that my current insurers wanted more money for me to remain insured at my new address, I became quite cross! The staff member that I was talking to immediately explained the situation to me and talked me through my options in a calm and sensible way. She helped me to switch to a different insurance provider without having to pay the £75 that I would have needed to pay to remain with my previous one. I was very impressed by her knowledge, her professionalis, her patience, and her general manner which made me feel respected as a person and as a customer, even though my own manner was quite angry initially.

Initial arrangements were straightforward, but I did need to phone to correct a 'forced field' from the online system. The price quoted on the search engine was increased by the time I had finished the application, which was disappointing. By the time I had gone through the full application I wasn't willing to start again elsewhere and paid the extra...

When you ring Lexham you get through to a real person straight away. None of this hold nonsense. They offer an online chat system which again is answered very quickly by a real person so as far as customer service goes they are pretty good. However the main negative for me is the high and none negotiable prices for Learner Motorcyclists.

The whole process to get insured was really smooth and the only problem I had was easily corrected via phone. I would rather they have a better website where the customer could manage themselves the policy and any changes required. I had a claim 4 months ago and again the whole process was really smooth and the staff in the claim department was very helpful and efficient. The only drawback is the communication across different departments: while I was dealing with the claim process, someone from their call centre called me regards the policy renewal for the stolen bike and also I've received letters from them about it at the same time. Overall, the have reasonable prices, a good customer service and I would recommend them.
