I ordered size 2XL meditation pants. They arrived in the UK with the label stating 2XL however when put on they are the equivalent of a UK medium. As for customer service, when after receiving about 60 automated response emails from them within a 24 hour period, I finally got an email stating that they are based on chinese patterns so selecting 2XL would not work as i need to go into the sizing guide which details the length etc. That may be a fair point however the response is the equivalent of saying you should have read line 84 on page 221 of the terms and conditions. What is the point of selling to the western world when they can't align to the western market standards. Know your market. Look after your customer. Simple. I should have stopped when during the ordering process, the system asked me if i want to insure because of import duties and process. That was the warning i didn't listen to. The business should sort that and not try and dump the risk on the customer. Very arrogant company. Don't use!!!

SCAM SCAM SCAM SHITTY ITEMS AT EXTORTIONATE PRICES THAT LOOK NOTHING LIKE THE ITEMS ON THEIR FAKE WEBSITE. THERE IS NO SUCH A THING AS “lightinthebox uk” They ARE BASED IN CHINA and run by LITTLE CHINESE SCAMMERS. They are CHEATS AND LIARS. DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED CASH ON THESE LITTLE CHINESE CUNTS WHO GIVE THEMSELVES ENGLISH SOUNDINGS NAMES. PS, THEIR “POSITIVE” REVIEWS ARE ALL FAKES.

I wish I’d read these reviews before ordering. It took ten days before I received my item. It arrived while I was away. What I opened was dreadful. It was supposed to be a gilet but I wouldn’t have used it as a rag so bad was the quality. I asked for a refund but was refused I should have applied within seven days. Consumer law states quite clearly it’s 14 days. The battle continues. Please don’t order from this company.

I made my order on the 28 th April. Still haven’t received my order. I have asked over 10 times now for a refund and no response. Please don’t waste your money here. There a complete sham

When the items arrived they didn’t fit. Two weeks later and I am still trying to get a refund that the company just don’t want to give. Apparently I should have checked the size guide. I did it just doesn’t match what was sent. Don’t order from here as you might as well just put the money straight in the bin which would be far easier than trying to get a refund.

Deceiving delivery time at first order. 4-7 days. After ordering it then states dispatched from China. Never would a delivery from China arrive within that time frame. Website purposely prevents you from logging in. To track a trace. What ever password option you select it says incorrect. Thus preventing you from checking complaints or refunds. I would be shocked to see my order and if so the quality I’m sure will be questionable. Keep away from this company

I received my order and it was nothing like pictured on the website, not to mention about 2 sizes to small. I have tried to get a refund but they responded saying its a custom order??? Which it's not!!! No custom measurements were asked for or given.!!!! This website is such a scam and customer service is appalling how is it legal to do this to hard working people??!!

Very poor quality shoes, looks great on picture but couldn’t say what they are actually made of. If you want to return, it has to be within 7 days, you have to pay shipping to China and most items are not refundable anyway under their categories. (Clothes, shoes...) wasn’t cheap either. Decided I wouldn’t loose anymore money by trying to send them back and wait a year for my refund! Lesson learned!

Absolutely unacceptable customer service, I am still waiting for a refund was supposed to get it back weeks ago, I have asked them to let me know how and where to send an official complaint but they totally have ignored me They have received my returned items but still for absolutely no reason not refunding me back, really worst experience ever I have had with any retails

Rip Off China. This company is shameful. They send a poor quality product which sizes are COMPLETELY wrong. As an Example size L is more like a size Small for best Medium. They will not refund.

Wish I had read these reviews before using this company. Want to return a dress that started out at£105 but cost £129.42 I have found it impossible to get a return address. After reading the reviews I don’t think I will bother. With the cost if return and the original shipping cost I will be seriously out of pocket. Service lousy product inferior.

CLOTHES ITEMS ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH I ordered from Lightinthebox and when I received my items they are absolute rubbish quality. There was not one item I would wear. The material is the same for all items just like lining. I have emailed them several times but the suggestions I have got back from them are a joke, I wouldn't even give them to a friend as was suggested to me. I will keep emailing until I get a response. Not giving up until I get my refund. Its the worst company I have ever dealt with and obviously won't be ordering again. Dont know how they are still operating. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL SITE. DO NOT USE.POOR QUALITY. MAKING ME JUMP THROUGH HOOPS TO TRY AND GET MY MONEY BACK FOR THE VERY POOR QUALITY. ITEM RECEIVED. Purchased a cycling jersey from here. Terrible quality for the money paid, and did not look anything like the advertised pictures. I have had to send numerous emails, adding photos to show the barcode and tags on the item, despite the item arriving and just completing the returns ticket to send straight back. I have sent 4 emails now simply asking for a returns label so I can get a refund. They emailed me today asking if I’d be prepared to keep the item and receive a 35% refund? Why?? I can’t use the item so I just want my money back. Think this is a scam as the product takes about two weeks to arrive from China (not advertised clearly as the country shipping the item) on the UK website. I think they want you to give up returning the product as they make it so difficult or that you’ll just keep the item and get 35% back. Absolutely awful!!

Dont even go close to them no customer tlf number they will send you wrong item them you will go into a spiral of one email 1 working day for email response with no solution over and over till they wear you down and you kindly give up your money

LightInTheBox... more like YourCashInTheirBank! Truly horrendous after sales customer service, in fact that is completely under selling the point. They have zero after sales service. They are an absolute disgrace! Their returns and refunds policy is a joke. They have deliberately made product returns, exchanges and refunds impossible. It's practically invisible on the website. You will spend an age trawling through their website, trying to locate their policies and all you'll find, after what you'll find feels like hours, is a contact box, which invites you to leave a "Ticket" with reasons why you want to return your items etc. No return address mind. They only want your money! If and when they get around to replying, they will try to suggest that you have not met the criteria for their "Ticket" as they refer to it. There will no doubt be a suggestion that the files, or photos (of your purchase) are not in an approved format, or your email exceeds the 40MB file size that they can accept. Regardless of whether you met their parameters or not. I have to date sent 4 emails and now, only because I gave them an ultimatum and 7 day timeline, they have tried to be more amicable in suggesting that, as the postage to China is expensive, I may prefer to keep the junk they sent to me and accept 10 or 20% of the original value in return as my refund. Still no return address or instructions mind! In one area of their website, there is a suggestion that European customers can return products back to their EU wharehouse... why China us quoted in the reply I got, is beyond me. Do yourself a favour. Avoid these guys!

DO NOT BOTHER WORST ONLINE EXPERIENCE EVER. Signed up , ordered 2 shirts, no confirmation of the order, no reply from customer services , cannot get back into my account, money has been taken ...... NEVER buy thru them again ...don’t even know if I’ll get the goods, can’t talk with anyone.
