Absolutely terrible experience we were put through by Love-holidays, arriving to be informed by a Spanish builder the hotel we booked with loveholidays.com had been closed since December 2020, After the bus driver dumbing us outside a locked gate, with no knowledge about any change to our holiday? Or what to do next? Left outside in the baking heat panicking & left wondering if i had been completely ripped off by loveholidays.com? (Booked July 22nd 2021, 2 days before our holiday) Never again will I risk booking with this company or risk booking a stay with a coral hotel company, after loveholidays blaming Coral hotels for miss-informing them about re-opening on July 22nd 2021? Later i was informed by another guest that they had the same issues one week before we arrived, again being informed the sister hotel was still closed and offered this hotel as a replacement (one week before they travelled) So, both Loveholidays & Coral ocean view Costa Adjei Knew the hotel was closed & would remain closed, way before we made this booking yet failed to inform me or give me any option of a full refund or change of holiday. Sat outside on a wall in 32c heat i send a message to Loveholidays about the matter, to be called back, stating on July 22nd when we booked loveholidays were told the hotel was reopen from that date? And sent us to a sister hotel 25 minutes away, when I asked the sister hotel (Coral Suites) About the closure they also confirmed the hotel had been closed Since December with no intension of reopening any time within this season? This had been confirmed by 2 different staff, one from each of the two hotels and confirmed from another guest who had made the same booking one week before our arrival date, But the other customer was offered the change 1 week before arriving? We were offered nothing and NOT informed until mid-way through our flight! The rude customer rep i spoke with on the phone to love holidays, replied why have you not listened to your voice mails about the matter? Because i was on a plane! 2+ hours in to our flight on the date of our holiday when you decided to let us know? You cant offer us an alternative 2 hours after our holiday has started! While on a Plaine with no point of contact! One weeks Parking paid for; A hotel stay in Manchester for 4 people the night before, Fuel & travel costs, Holiday insurance, Emergency return flights home? You offered nothing! Not even a full refund! Not only is it illegal to change our holiday without us being offered a full refund under the right to cancel act, you blatantly lied to me in the phone call stating it was fault of the original hotel for not telling your company the hotel had decided to remain closed?! I refused your option of transferring us to the sister hotel and requested a full holiday refund as you had failed to inform us in time before our holiday started and by doing this had broken the law under the customer consumer rights act. I was then called back and told I had no right to a refund as a i had already used the flight ticket to Tenerife and only qualify for a part refund covering the hotel booking itself. Had i known you were going to fob me off with a different hotel the day before our travel i would have requested a cancellation and full refund. Then you break the law a second time by saying I still dont have any rights to a full refund & I’m offered a part refund of £250? Which I still dont have to this day! Feeling forced by your company to take it or leave it? while stranded in Tenerife without warning, and being told i will lose a huge about of my original booking price paid should I decline this offer and be prompted checked out of the hotel by loveholidays.com This is blackmail, being left with no choice to accept this after arriving in Tenerife is illegal under UK law. I have taken a video interview of this being confirmed by hotel staff, about your lies including a statement from another guest confirming you knew about the hotel closures 5- days before i even made by booking, you will be held responsible for negligence through the small claims court. So, we tried to make the most of this forced holiday, the rest of our party that come with us were quite worried we would not have any return transfers? So once again i had to contact loveholidays about this... I was told it will be confirmed in email to me and reassured me we would not be left stranded again when it came to return transfer? With less than 24 hours until our return transfer and still no follow up email or any kind of confirmation.... I contacted them again through the previous message conversation and asked for an urgent reply! Now starting to panic again! Morning of check out still no reply and nothing at the hotels transfer boards confirming any return transfer? wondering if we would be left stranded again and forced to pay for a taxi to the airport? Yet again stress levels peaking and running the holiday for second time. Only the day after we arrived home could they be bothered to reply about our return transfers? Very rudely saying provide proof of taxi receipt and proof that i made every attempt to contact the transfer company we used? And they would look in to the matter? We booked transfers with YOU loveholidays.com through a complete holiday package jus the same as the hotel you illegally ripped us off with. Not a third-party company! What kind of trust, if any? Is this for customers and 2 criminal lying companies? You will not get away with this.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY…. They do not refund due to Covid despite website claims and have resigned from ABTA to avoid being legally liable for refunds. Many thousands of customers has lost hundreds if thousands pounds.

Liars … told me that I can change my flight due to Covid , trued and told no can’t by Veuling go through Love Holidays, back to love holidays and they said no it is not a package so nothing to do with us !! Can not get through by phone and live chat 3 times then get cut off after waiting over an hour … keep away from them

Your company is garbage and is stealing peoples money, I am being charged 400£ from my refund for canceling my holiday because it was moved to amber out of green even when I paid for the special covid insurance you offer which turned out to be a completely useless scam, The representative I spoke to was completely unhelpful, might as well have been talking to a bot.

The review below this review is a pack of lies from a staff member who work for this disgusting out fit so members of the public be very careful when you book a package holiday you wont receive your money in full if anything goes wrong because they lie rob you and have your eyes out .and this is too the staff member who put the fake review below get back on turstpilot like you and some of you work collaegues do so and put fake reviews on they ,disgusting behaviour yet again form a staff member form loveholidays you should be ashamed of yourselfs robbing old age pensioners and disabled people

I have used love holidays twice a year since 2012 and can honestly say I have had no problem with them at all I have always payed the price I booked for never anymore and the 2 holidays last year that couldn’t go ahead because of COVID I was refunded in full back into my bank for the hotel and was payed back direct from jet2 for the flights within 4 weeks I will continue to use them as I have no complaints and they have always communicated with us through email also we pay a lot less for our holidays

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Wrong flight dates, wrong board basis they pit us on all inclusive PLUS which didnt even EXIST, we arrived to our hotel and love holidays booked us for 2022! Luckily they could take us in and had a spare room but if they didnt we’d of been absolutely f*cked… couldnt check in to our flights which were already on a different day which love holidays did not tell us about. To get through to them is a challenge and a half as there is no answer on the phone and only a ‘live chat’ everything was wrong. Do yourself a favour and dont book with them!

Keep changing my hotel saying my original hotel was closed yet friends that are there are saying different every time I ask for confirmation of my new hotel they keep sending me confirmation of the old one

I have read a lot of negative reviews RE: love holidays, So I must be one of the exceptions, because I have found Love holidays to be reliable , honest, and very helpful, I live in Australia and I thought after reading the reviews that I had little to no chance of getting a refund, because the Australian Government has banned all overseas travel necessitating me to cancel three holidays I had booked through Love holidays, and to my absolute delight , I have received all my monies refunded into my credit card account. If and when Things settle down ( COVID19 ) I will have no hesitation in booking through Love holidays believing them to be a company of integrity. D.Mcc. (Australia )

I wrote a letter of complaint to look ve holidays due to being unable to speak or online chat to anyone , I sent it first class and paid to have it signed for.I have just checked the tracking number and it says they have refused to accept it and it will be returned to me. Easy way out to just ignore everything to avoid refunding anyone.

If you value your sanity please stay well clear of these thrives so called Love Holidaysore like love holidays rip off. Had to do a charge back through my bank as they refused to give my money back now 19 months later they are threatening me saying I owe them money my god how they get away with it.More stress to deal with. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GO NEAR THIS SO CALLED COMPANY.Also they write their own reviews. STAY CLEAR PLEASE.

Wouldn't book a tent with this company booked a holiday last August 2020 cancelled cos of covid they have refused refund for flights £1209.96 bunch of crooks .

Dreadful company! We had to do a Chargeback to get deposit back because LH illegally withheld deposits to us & others. Later, LH also made refund, so our Bank debited us to balance it out to all square. 7 months later LH tried billing us for an odd amount for no reason, now our Bank is dealing with this. No communication from this tin pot travel agent even though we wrote to their CEO. Incompetence, negligence, deliberate scammers, don't ever book with them, & don't trust their Fake reviews on Trust Pilot written by staff!

The worst customer service we have ever, ever received. We booked our family holiday for September 2020 long before the covid pandemic hit and was left high and dry throughout the year with no customer service, help, options and in the end, (days before the holiday was due) forced to pay extra to change our holiday to 2021. Even though we booked as a package holiday, it was left to us to get in touch with Ryan Air (who charged us a small fortune to change our dates to the next year), and there was no help or customer service to make a stressful situation any better. Trying to speak to anyone was a nightmare as the contact number was removed, shortly followed by the live chat where we did manage to speak with someone once who said "it was business as normal" when it came to going on holiday. How, just how is going on holiday during a pandemic is it business as normal, when we would have to quarantine for 10 days on return and going against the government & WHO advise. We should have been offered a full refund and would have been in our rights to receive one however, LoveHolidays & Ryan Air had us in between a rock and a hard place, lose all but £150 for a £1000 holiday or pay £600 extra to change the dates. These 2 companies seem to think this is fair which is disgusting. I will never again book with them making sure I tell everyone I know not to use them. There has been no contact from LoveHoliday after we officially complained, nothing to make our experience better and no form of apology for the terrible service we have received. We have just received an email from LoveHoliday saying the hotel we booked is no longer available with an alternative which is nowhere near good enough for the money a self-catering week in the Mediterranian has cost us. For this horrible experience, we should be getting upgraded to a 5-star holiday home and reimbursed the extra money this holiday, through no fault of our own, has cost us. We want a full refund of this holiday and will be investigating all routes possible to get our money back. Please use a reputable travel agent to book your holiday and avoid the stress, hassle and loss of money we have had to deal with. Just look on their social media to see 1000s of other customers like us who've had the same experience, these guys are crooks!

Horrible to deal with. Extra costs added at every opportunity. Refunds withheld for as long as possible (still not fully repaid after 20 months). Terrible communication. Cheating liars. Don’t be fooled by the ATOL stamp - this company does not pay customers back. Best advice is pay more and go with another company. Never use these people. Am amazed they are still taking bookings and people are daft enough to book with them. Good luck.
