“Purchased a new washer and dryer. They wouldn’t install, or even just lay on the floor underneath, the drip pan we purchased. They are stackable yet they don’t carry cords with them that are different lengths and the cord wasn’t long enough. Completely useless. Delivery meant nothing more then them just dropping stuff off. Still can’t use until cord comes in that we got on Amazon. They don’t even stock the longer cord at Lowe’s. Will never buy from Lowe’s again. $2k spent and horrible, not knowledgeable delivery and service. Also had to call multiple phone numbers just to get to the right person, since they have a 3rd party deliver for them. It’s an experience we won’t forget and will pass on as aweful! Hermitage, PA store!”

“I ordered 3 bags of fertilizer and 2 bales of wheat straw. I received 5 bags of fertilizer. BUYER BEWARE, do not order home delivery - there seems to be a high level of incompetence in home delivery.”

“I understand why Lowes only has 1. Star. The on line ordering was horrid. 2 month wait for NOTHING. They failed miserably on our $3000 order and we are NOT happy. We will never shop at Lowes again.”

“Ordered a washer and dryer.... Been waiting2 weeks.. still no washer still no dryer. Store has no idea where it is.. maybe next truck .... Definitely not counting on lowes when I'm in a pinch.”

“I usually skip closer stores and drive an extra mile or two to go to LOWE's, in Katy, Cinco Ranch, Texas. Today, I went twice for simple things. One, I was looking for ways to fix a broken drawer in the kitchen. Ralph and Brett went our of their way to find a solution. They didn't have the right clips at the store. Brett, took the step beyond the call of duty and found it online for me. Two, I went to the garden center for "growing bags." In the whole 100 acre place, there was one cashier, and nobody else to ask for help. It was a Friday at 5 and many shoppers...From the Garden Center to the opposite end of the store, I found Sylvia at Self Check area.....She called for help to meet me at the garden center. I walked back and waited...then left.”

“Ordered a washer that was supposed to be delivered to the store in one week..... It's been over two.... Still waiting... Nobody knows... It's just floating out there somewhere.... Idk... Had no problems transferring my credit card.... That went through no problem....”

“Had a privacy fence installed in Spring Hill Florida 12 months ago and went out there to power wash it and found it coming apart. The top beams were cut too short an not fixed to the posts allowing the panels to shift. Called Lowe’s and they said it was out of warranty. SOS Lowes”

“Worst credit card ever. Even though you pay your balance on time, they still charge a $2.00 'minimum interest fee,' even if the purchase was under a 0% interest promotion. It’s not worth the hassle for a 5% discount. I’m closing my credit card today and will never visit this store again!”

“My husband, who was 79 at the time, fell in the garden center of Lowes in Titusville, Fl. He fell flat on his face, splitting his nose and requiring 5 stitches. He broke his dentures and bruised his knees and ankle. Nothing life threatening. He was taken to the hospital be ambulance. We were given a claim # to get compensation. We were only looking to get compensation for his teeth, the hospital co-pay and the ambulance charges. After a year of trying to deal with the company that handles Lowes claims, we were notified the case had been closed. My husband did not receive one penny of compensation. We contacted a personal injury attorney but too much time had passed. So basically we were screwed. My advice to anyone who has an injury at Lowes, contact a personal injury attorney IMMEDIATELY!!! Do NOT expect Lowes to take care of it. They will not! Just an FYI!”

“I purchased a new gas grill and the assistant manager helped me load it in my pickup truck. We tied it down with elastic straps. Not thinking, we put it in with the lid facing the front. When I pulled onto the highway a big gust of wind flipped the cover up and sucked the thing right out of the truck and crashed it onto the highway in a hundred pieces. When I got all the parts back in the truck, I went back and asked for Michael, who had just helped me. I showed him the destroyed grill and said, "I'm not blaming you, can you do anything anyway?" He just shook his head and said he would have to call Ryan, the store manager. Ryan comes out and I told him what happened and said...."I'm not blaming you, can you do anything?" He thought about it and said, "everyone blames us. Give him a new one Mike." Whenever I tell this story, people always say, "where was that again", and I say Lowe's in Carbondale, Illinois. This happened last year, but I will be forever grateful to those guys. Thank you Lowe's. Bill.”

“Pressure washers cannot be returned after 48 hours regardless as to if it’s broken or not!!!!!! Not displayed on the receipt! So we now have a pressure washer that was almost $500 and useless!!!!”

“I ordered a free standing range and yes it was dropped and damaged in the back. Being since it was damaged in the back I was ok with that. I was NOT ok with loosing my warranty and would have never agreed to that. I didn't catch that the handle assembly was also damaged. I am a retired HVAC service tech of 45 years. Our company was nationwide.We also took care of all appliances. I sent them a picture of the handle trim and they refused to ship me a replacement part ten dollar replacement because I agreed to except the damages. Instead of doing it the easy way they said they can delivery another one. If you want to know why appliances are so high, this kind of stupid decision making only hurts the consumer. All they wanted to do was sell me an extended warranty. Shame on you! I tried to post a picture of the handle trim that was cracked but that doesn't work either.”

“Lowes Camillus lost our $100 on our gift card, so we called your support number and they did nothing. We basically had a $100 gift card from our children for Christmas stolen. At best it was accidentally lost.”

“Couldn’t find my receipt for three small bags of potting soil. I’ve spent over $2500 since January there, and would not accommodate an exchange for the bags I overbought for potting plants. $24 would break them. I can spend my money elsewhere, and I will. No wonder Lowe’s is struggling. Let them close.”

“After spending 3k+ for 2 washer/dryer stacks, come to find out that they did not include the one kits to make them stack. Got sold 4 other kits, but not the 2 I really needed. Customer service said order new ones and drive back or pay another delivery fee. No accommodation or consideration. So much for service.”

“Purchased a garage door opener with installation from Lowes for installation today! When the installer who Lowe's booked with Angi's List didn't show for their 5:00 appointment I called to see what the Hay! I was subsequently told that that the installation was for the a completely different day! Either Lowes or Angis list needs to get their act together because I AM NOT HAPPY!”
