“I know a lot about fitness and nutrition, but that doesn’t mean that I didn’t need a coach.
I did a cut a few years back and I was at maintenance for about a year and a half and then a bulk for over a year. All this was on my own. I was having trouble getting back to a cut and I knew if I hired a coach, I would be successful.
Things that are free don’t have enough value for me. I needed to pay
My coach is Braden Ripley and I was surprised he didn’t talk about my weight loss as much as - wanting to know more about me, and offering me life suggestions. Reminding me that I can eat certain foods anytime, but spending time with family is more important. He talked about mindful eating and my struggles with past eating issues.
We also talked about allowing myself permission to just slow down in life.
I did three months of nutrition and dropped 10 pounds which was decent for my 5’5 frame. I followed up with four months of training. It’s so nice not writing my own programs. Just because I’m a personal trainer doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate a fresh pair of eyes and someone smarter than me riding my programs for me. I love that I can send videos and get proper queuing. And suggestions on my lifts.
In the beginning, I wasn’t reaching out enough because I’m so used to doing things on my own, and I had to force myself to be more vulnerable to get more out of my coaching.”
“Honestly I don’t even know where to begin expressing my gratitude to Brittany! When we started working together I was probably about 60 days into a 75 day “soft” situation.. I was doing HIIT CrossFit style workouts 5 days a week & active recovery days the other 2 days, tracking meticulously & while I had lost a few lbs & inches over the 2 months I had been stalled at the same weight for 3 weeks which caused me to take the leap & sign up for coaching and I am SO GLAD I did!! “I find great value in having a nutrition coach to help support my athletic goals. I have a good system in place for training but I need my nutrition to line up with my training goals. Sometimes that’s slowly building muscle and sometimes it’s leaning out. Through it all, having a coach has improved my relationship with food and helped me to improve my physique and preformance in the gym.”
“I signed up and worked with Coach Andrew for over 6 months with an initial goal of losing 10 pounds, which seemed SO hard to achieve & i had tried everything i knew & could have. I must say, this investment in coaching with MAcros Inc. was life changing. I wasn't just able to lose those 10 pounds but 10 MORE on top of it. The process and the start was very challenging - just to get used to what and how to record, how to stay on track, and just the anxiety it brought. Yes - i could get very anxious (just me). there were many battles i had to fight at personal level - hitting protein goals, using the app, and in general just deal with LESS calories in general. He was always there to listen to the issues (and me complain) and provide his approach - that actually worked. It's about what we do MOST of the time, and our average habits.
I have learned so much and i am very appreciative of this platform. MM+ APP was excellent - i have gotten SO used to it - i almost can't live w/o it. I love accountability and i will continue to use it to hold me accountable.”
“Brittany Suplicki is an excellent coach! I worked with her on nutrition and training. She made my experience enjoyable and very successful. Brittany was easy to develop a rapport with and we talked about everything; I think this is why I’m able to go solo. Brittany had a way of making me think about what I wanted and how I, personally, would be able to get there. She didn’t ‘solve’ my problems but helped me think through them and problem solve for myself. Macros, Inc, for me, was so much more than learning to count macros and track food. “I’m so glad I finally pulled the trigger and signed up for coaching. Andrew has been very knowledgeable and supportive coach. I lost almost 40 pounds using macro tracking on my own but became inconsistent and wasn’t seeing the changes I wanted to. Having Andrew as a coach to keep me accountable and remind me of my goals when I needed it is 100% the reason I’ve been able to make the progress I have the past few months. “I was fortunate to have Connor as my coach for the past year and a half. I didn't have much weight to lose, but I started with nutrition only for a few months. Learning more about how to eat balanced meals and tweak depending on my goals was eye-opening. I decided to include training as I realized that muscle was needed to gain some strength and really change my body composition. He is a great listener and gives encouragement which I needed to succeed. He created a template for the training I needed to build some muscle. It worked! When I had a surgery he modified my program so I could slowly build back up to previous exercises and weights. Eventually I surpassed my goals with my initial training program so he again made changes which was challenging but so worth it. I'm very happy with my results and I am confident going foward that I know how to continue building muscle and strength (which I really need post-menopause)!
