“My coach Mary Beth "Champ" was truly that. She was not just a wealth of knowledge in nutrition but also a sounding board to my daily struggles of life in general. Listening to how life was affecting me and helping me through it to make wise food choices and life decisions to improve myself and showing me I was worth the effort. Knowing I had to report back to a coach was a good way to remind myself to keep going. I wanted to make her (as well as myself) proud. I learned some tips and tricks to also keep me on the right path. Even though our time is up for now I am still implementing these strategies to keep going. I highly recommend coaching to anyone who needs a push. Doesn't matter how much you already know about dieting and health, without the motivation to get going, it won't matter. “Brittany was the perfect blend of supportive and accountable - and she knew when to lean more in one direction than the other. When I set out to renew my coaching subscription in 2024 I had no wild plans of competiting as a fitness model or dropping 20 lbs. I simply wanted to better understand what my body required to lose a few lbs of fat, gain a bit of muscle, and (perhaps most challenging for me) what it meant to "maintain". She was so great about helping explain concepts to me and keeping me in touch with the big picture, which is hard when you're so close to the progress (or lack thereof) every day.

My coach is Braden Ripley and I was surprised he didn’t talk about my weight loss as much as - wanting to know more about me, and offering me life suggestions. Reminding me that I can eat certain foods anytime, but spending time with family is more important. He talked about mindful eating and my struggles with past eating issues.
We also talked about allowing myself permission to just slow down in life.
I did three months of nutrition and dropped 10 pounds which was decent for my 5’5 frame. I followed up with four months of training. It’s so nice not writing my own programs. Just because I’m a personal trainer doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate a fresh pair of eyes and someone smarter than me riding my programs for me. I love that I can send videos and get proper queuing. And suggestions on my lifts.
In the beginning, I wasn’t reaching out enough because I’m so used to doing things on my own, and I had to force myself to be more vulnerable to get more out of my coaching.”
“Honestly I don’t even know where to begin expressing my gratitude to Brittany! When we started working together I was probably about 60 days into a 75 day “soft” situation.. I was doing HIIT CrossFit style workouts 5 days a week & active recovery days the other 2 days, tracking meticulously & while I had lost a few lbs & inches over the 2 months I had been stalled at the same weight for 3 weeks which caused me to take the leap & sign up for coaching and I am SO GLAD I did!! Brittany was so responsive & attentive, she encouraged me to pay more attention to quality lifting rather than doing 500 squats in one workout 😂 she was also incredibly patient with my mindset & helping me to switch focus & priorities. I literally lost 8 lbs within my first 3 weeks with her!
