Parmentier potatoes - very poor purchase. Instructions said cook for 25 mins. turning occasionally...............WELL, they never turned golden brown and spoiled what would have been a delicious meal. I tomber will avoid this product in future. Very disappointing indeed. (I would be delighted to hear from M&S if they care what a regular customer deserves!)

I shopped in M and S (Craigleith Retail Park Edinburgh) on 23rd of this month. Unable to carry heavy bags due to recent operation I asked at the checkout for help. The staff were so helpful and a very sensible charming girl called Detta pushed my trolley to the car and carefully packed the car. Much appreciated and many thanks

Orders from outside the UK are simple and have a free return possibility. The hotline is a treat and flexible in case of questions and special demands.

Bought two pairs of jeans at £29.50 each. Wrote a review saying the black has been ironed to death before sale and the indigo looked like it had been worn before sale. My review was rejected though not one if M&S’s guidelines had been breached. If products are “distressed” style, then that should be made clear in the blurb, but it was not. Never had a review rejected before, but have declined to rewrite it as it was the truth. I have not even had the courtesy of a response to my e-mail contesting their rejection. Seems like M&S is unable to accept criticism of their wares, but our opinions are meant to help other buyers so why should we bother any more. I am very unimpressed with their thought police and bad manners.

I was given excellent assistance by SUE G at Marks and Spencer at 16 East Street Chichester on Friday 13th September in helping me change and select some underwear for my wife who is unwell at this moment of time. Many thanks SUE it was very acceptable.

Autumn collection this year has got to be the worst collection to date. Whoever is in charge of buying, needs the sack. Who or what age group were they buying for..... Cos I don't know anyone between 18 and 75 that would wear anything in store

Bought a Hastings bed from M&S only 6 months old. Main beam has collapsed. M&S sent FIRA an independent inspections company to look at fault. Ridiculous response and says it’s because the bed is on wooden flooring! Rung M&S to ask for replacement as argued a bed should last more than 6 months and if their beds can’t be used on hard flooring then they should advertise this. M&S refuse to replace my faulty bed. I will never use M&S again. Poor customer service and poor quality furniture that can’t withstand being on wooden flooring and doesn’t last more than 6 months!!!

M&S food usually quite good but pricey. Just had the worst mashed potato ever (normally make my own but short of time). Texture of wallpaper paste, bland and tasteless. Even the cheap discount stores do better. Consigned to the bin. Waste of money.

My experience with Marks and Spencers Car Insurance was great. A very reasonable insurance quote. Very easily understandable the documents. Straight forward details. No hidden cost or confusing statements. Thumbs up

My wife & I were at the Peterborough store on Tuesday and was served by Jaki Walker who was polite and helpful. Nice to see that you can get service with a smile still.

I was in M&S Worcester store on 27th August 2019 and I had an assistant by the name of Wendy Evans who was extremely helpful and gave me excellent service, I was very impressed. All of your staff are very polite and courteous but, this lady went the second mile.

We visited Parc Trostre, Llanelli store on Saturday 31st of August & my husband lost his wallet. The staff here were absolutely fantastic and extremely helpful. One lady in particular (her name began with M and is of Pakistani descent (so sorry that we can't remember her full name)was kind enough to have safely placed it behind her till and in a bag. My husband is so grateful for the kindness shown by her and all of the staff that dealt with him. As always, a super friendly and helpful staff at Trostre M&S. Thank you so much.

M&S use DPD for delivery. These couriers are notorious for cancelling deliveries last minute and not informing customers of this. I booked a delivery for a date and DPD changed it without informing me. When I changed the date back to my nominated date for delivery, I got an email confirming delivery. DPD then changed it again without telling me. I enquired with the M&S helpline and they took no responsibility for this and went so far as to accuse me of changing my delivery date (I merely changed it back to my nominated date). This is shambolic for a company that claims to pride itself on customer satisfaction.

Took my 13 year old granddaughter for a bra fitting today. It was her first one. From measuring to trying on the whole experience for her was great. We were looked after by Gill very well. My granddaughter was very nervous but was put at ease by Gill. Thank you

The new range of meals for £10 in a net bag are very disappointing. The ingredients don’t gel well together. We have tried the paella/chicken and truffle pesto and the chicken with loads of parsley. There is a lot more work to be done on perfecting the recipes.

I placed an order early July on line for a bedroom furniture set. All was in stock when ordering. I then receive a text to let me arrange my own best date for delivery. The first date it gave me was 27th August! After many calls between myself and customer service, they discover that half the items are not in stock until then but I can have part of the order delivered that week. Today, after a 6 week wait, my two wardrobes are delivered and built by the delivery men. My son was shown a picture when they came downstairs and all looked fine. I get home at lunchtime to find packaging strewn all over the house from the front door up. Then a piece of wood laying across my bed. This was the hanging rail. Not put in due to the fact that the fitting on each of the wardrobe had a two inch height difference - meaning my hangers will all fall to one end!!! After a lengthy conversation with the Customer Service department, even escalating this to the Manager, I am told I will receive a telephone call in 48 hours to let me know when a third party technician, employed by M&S, will be available to come and see if there is a problem!! Yes, there is a problem. How dare I be doubted. I have been left with a wardrobe not fit for purpose. I was told to store my clothes in the wardrobe if I was upset they were on the floor! Where - the rail is not working? Fuming! I bought from what I thought was a reputable company and would get better service from an Amazon supplier at half the cost.
