Just collected a "prepared meal" from M & S Cribbs Causeway which proved to be merely 2 Gastropub meals put in a cardboard box. I could have picked these from the shelf myself without the seemingly inevitable long wait at understaffed Click and Collect. Then I visited the new "improved" Deli counter. Most of the items that were previously carefully served by a member of staff, after the inevitable wait, are now wrapped in cellophane. Otherwise there are large bowls of salad unprotected from customers' breath. Also please bring your own plastic containers in future. Obviously Marks and Spencer are dealing with the current retail crisis by employing fewer people and making customers do it themselves. How glad I am that I have discovered Morrisons Deli Counter and well staffed check out facilities

I shop in bishop stortford store often, mainly food hall. Served often by a friendly lady called Sue, always helpful & chatty. Always says hello.

Found a brown hair (I'm ginger) in my plant kitchen chocolate mousse. Complained to M&S (they make this as difficult as possible) who never bothered to respond. I made it clear I wasn't after money or replacement, just confidence that the issue would be investigated. After this disappointing experience I'll move my custom to Lidl and Aldi. I won't mourn the demise of M&S.

I have been an M&S card holder for several years. Love the sparks offers, and recently took advantage of the 20% off lingerie. Typically, I was wearing the wrong size bra, which prompted me to invest in new ... but I was shocked at how many women came to the fitting room asking for the bra fitting service - inline with this promotion, but the M&S attendant explained they were fully booked. The lovely "Jackie" M&S lingerie expert, was kind enough to help me (without an appointment), and as a result, I spent over £120. I really do feel that M&S Aintree Lingerie Department are missing out at this store in particular .... there was a non stop conveyor belt of ladies needing assistance.... with a shortage of staff, a shortage of changing rooms, and a shortage of appointments ? No criticism of the staff - Jackie was very professional indeed, helping as many as possible - However, those higher up the food chain would benefit by looking into this. Ive must also add : I was very disappointed that I didnt see the "Lorraine" (morning show host) Change & Check Breast Cancer awareness sticker? This is important stuff! It could be a life changer! It wouldnt be a bad idea to send staff on a breast awareness course whilst their at it - instantly, M&S are more than a bra fitting service, selling your wares.

Pants. That's right, womens pants to be more specific. Can someone tell me why the gusset width on M & S pants is shrinking in size? I'm only a size 8 to 10, but I do require a gusset that's wider than my watch strap, without having to resort to a full brief that restricts my waist. I just bought 3 for 2, but I didn't realise that meant only 2 gussets between them! When I got them home and tried them on, I found them pretty uncomfortable, so compared them with a pair I bought last year - yes, they're narrower. What's going on??

Very disappointed recently with food quality in M&S. Firstly a visit to Manchester store to the cafe. I am gluten free. The sandwiches have been the same two choices for years often none at all. My last visit there was gluten free soup advertised with a gluten free roll only to be told no bread rolls. It was only 12 miday!!! Asked if they could get bread from shop floo The answer. We never do that. Net bought a chicken breast joint so tough my knife would not go through it. Wasted it. It cost £10 50 to go in the bin. No more shopping there for me

Very very disappointed the quality of M&S past has really lowered in their food department. Fruit perishes very quickly that is if you lucky to get 50% of a punnet of soft fruit in good condition to initially use! The readymade foods also are not what they used to be either..... As a seasoned M&S shopper as is my partner I have begun to shop elsewhere and was stunned to find great fruit and veg in places like Iceland, Aldi and Lidl, they are far more competitive and the standard amazing!!!! M&S you need to pull your socks up this is NOT acceptable....

The shopping experience at The Moseley M&S store is consistently poor. They are putting out the goods for hours after the store opens making it impossible to get down the aisles to buy food. The worst thing is that they don’t put anyone on the tills prioritising putting out the food. If someone eventually turns up at the till the queue is really long. I hear the mama her telling an old lady that they will not be manning the tills before 10 am. I usually buy a fair amount and even if I didn’t this is high prices and bad service. They put back the opening times of the store without customer consultation and there are always beggars outside the front. Sometimes they are aggressive. A sore which runs for the benefit of its managers. A poor supply chain and bad attitudes by staff who ignore long queues at the till.

I am stunned that my order of six pairs of cotton knickers arrived with six plastic hangers. How on earth is M&S still doing that? Does anyone keep their knickers on hangers? How can M&S continue to contribute to plastic pollution in this way? These hangers are useless, ridiculous, and betray an appalling lack of consideration for corporate environmental responsibility. Putting the onus on the consumer to return these crappy hangers in-store is unethical and preposterous.

Today I treated myself to Coronation chicken. Not the sandwich filler, the meal size. On opening it I was angry to see that the lovely big pieces of chicken have been replaced by scrappy little pieces! I suppose this is M&S economisng. Bad move. It's no where near as good and I shan't buy it again. Come on M&S stop penny pinching!

My 15 year old daughter just bit into a staple is a philly steak out pizza and I am beyond disappointed and not to mention freaked out! It's a staple! this could have ended very badly! This was my first time and now my last buying pizza from M&S because I dont want having staple worries while chewing my foods especially if I had served this to younger kids. M&S This needs to be looked into..I still have the packaging so a follow up would be much appreciated especially on how you would make sure this does not happen again!

I ordered two large cheesecakes for my sons 21st. Received an email and a text to confirm that they were ready for collection. When I went to the store they advised me they hadn’t been delivered and suggested I could have some of their cheesecake slices instead. I explained that it was for my sons 21st and slices wouldn’t work. They didn’t care just said we will give you a refund. Nothing I could do at 5.30 pm on a Saturday afternoon. So much for customer service.

Reviews can often be negative as a means of complaint, so I thought I would share my positive experience whilst out with my baby. Firstly, the store is easy to manoeuvre around with a large pushchair, the lifts are not a squeeze and the toilet/nappy facilities as well as space is good. The service in the cafe in the Leckwith site, Cardiff was outstanding. They offered to carry my drink and food to the table, provided hot water to warm baby food and also offered to bring me anything that I needed in order that I could see to my baby without any inconvenience, thank you

Why are we subjected to miniature “ toys “ in the food hall ? This experiment must have cost many thousands of pounds to “roll out “ plus advertising. How thoughtless when many loyal staff have lost their jobs due to store closures. Due to lack of money ?

On a hot day in July what a lovely experience to arrive at your Cafe in Chineham. It was cool and Tracy your amazing Cashier/Barista remembered me from a previous visit, remembered what my usual was. I was hot a flustered and her calm expertise made for a very pleasant, stress free experience. Thank you Tracy :-)

Sack your marketing director! Your sales promotion of little plastic products aimed at kids is offensive. You rely on your lofty environmental policy that frankly never really results in the reduction of single use plastic in store. It still remains impossible to buy products for a meal without taking home more single use plastic than food. Enough is enough, I'm taking my 20 years of M&S loyalty and £7,000 annual food spend to a more ethical retailer. Your attempt in the media to justify your promotion is sickening. Utter disgrace!

I purchased two crab and prawn cakes from west Bridgford store deli counter they looked delicious and at £3.70 each not the cheapest all I can say is avoid at all cost NO flavour what so ever in fact a ball of flavourless mush in breadcrumbs will not be shopping in the food hall again M&S used to have such high standards you could always rely on whatever you purchased would be top notch but not anymore sorry M&S you have lost the plot and customers

Extreamly poor. Customer service is a joke as you cant get anyone to take responsibility for non-exsistant customer service. I'd award them 0 but the system only goes down to 1 - that's how bad I feel I have been treated.
