Purchased Christmas Eve 4 prawn & cucumber mousse starters - shocking - reduced from £6 to £4.06 - really terrible - the plastic "shot size" plastic glasses had 1 prawn per item - with a horrible dill based sauce and M&S actually put the glasses on a cardboard and plastic plinth to make them look bigger. The Roasting Potatoes in Goose fat and butter did not brown - did not cook and were inedible - for M&S to produce this type of food with the charges they charge is ridiculous - ruined our Christmas meal - a starter inedible and a main with roast potatoes being a great favorite - put in a claim for a refund - terrible - alright for them to give me the money back but nothing replaces the embarrassment and disappointment of firstly being overcharged and secondly whoever M&S quality control person for these items being passed for value need to rethink the whole process

Odered Christmas hamper for delivery Saturday 21 December. No delivery. Customer service first said it had been delayed and would be delivered Mondy 23rd. No delivery. Customer service then said it had been returned to the depot, then it was out of stock, then offered to re-deliver. Basically, they had no idea what had happened or where the hamper was. I obtained a refund. That was given promptly enough with the message: hope to see you again soon. No apology though for their lousy service. No, you won't be seeing me again. In addition, my complaint on their online review board was refused as it did not fit their review guidelines i.e we only print good/great reviews.

Have just finished (the edible part) our christmas dinner of beef and marrowbone pie, honey dressed parsnips, carrots with clementine, sprouts with chest nuts, roast potatoes and beef gravy. Based on what we have just eaten we will not be shopping for specialty food from M&S ever again. The pie consisted of over thick pastry which did not fully cook through (even though it was cooked as per instructions). When the pie was cut open it was just full of runny brown liquid, hardly any meat. The parsnips tasted awful, not sure what the flavour was meant to be. Carrots were OK but no better than that. Sprouts were nothing special, would have been better off with a 19p bag of sprouts. Roast potatoes were OK. The ultimate beef gravy was very vinegary, would have preferred Bisto gravy granules. All in all an extremely expensive and very disappointing christmas dinner 1 out of 10 I’m afraid. Now worried as we have ordered food for New Years Eve, hoping we can cancel it and give Aldi a try.

Bought a pair of black jeggings on Christmas eve from the store in Macclesfield cheshire while visiting family . I happily tore the labels off to wear them as i already have 9 pairs in different colour and no problems ,but on Christmas day I was very disappointed with the quality they have been badly sewn and are very very puckered and terrible looking.I paid by contact less card and as there has never been a previous problem I never collected the recept. ...I won't make the same mistake again ..but won't be buying jeggings from M&S.again .I live in Morecambe and we don't have a store there ..

Ordered a nightgown as a present on 29th Dec with delivery scheduled for 23rd. Went to store but not arrived. Was assured it would be here 24th Dec. Chased for update today and told that it would not be arriving until 27th as damaged by the carrier. Standard answer I guess. How can a night gown be damaged by the carrier? Need to come up with something more convincing. Not good enough! That makes it ok then!!! Very poor service. Was a present for my mum and it is now Xmas Eve. Need to do better M&S to keep up with competition particularly with a business that is clearly in decline. Plenty out there who will do better.

Ordered our turkey crown on line thinking it would be quicker to pay what was owed on collection at a seperate till only to find we had to que with all the other shoppers with mountains of food. I will definately not be doing that again I might as well go some where more local!!

Ordered the Christmas cake with woodland scene. It looks like a 3 year old child has made it! It is ruined at the side from being put in the box wrong and the scene itself, is totally laughable. Never again.

Paid online for a turkey a week ago,picked it up today and they have charged me again at the til,I didnt realise because I had other items in the basket that I was paying for,when I got home after being in a que for half an hour all around the store I checked the receipt and saw I was charged again so I rang them,they were a bunch of absolute prikcs,I asked for the manager 4 times I was denied that,I asked to complain I was denied that too,what a siht service,I wont be shopping with these dick heads again

I popped into the Cambridge Foodhall to buy a few items and bought my 10p bag which had recently broken to be replaced. Apparently unlike every other 10p bag at other supermarkets thiers are not actually bags for life! When I originally bought it I asked for a bag for life and no where I could see in store did it state single use. M&S certainly fooled me, yet alone the environmental impact these bags will have.

Went to M&S Malvern store this week, hardly any staff around to help, especially at this time of year, you’d think they’d have more staff! Anyway finally found a member of staff who seamed “off” didn’t want to help at all, and just walked off. So whilst paying at the desk I asked who she was and I was told her name was “Sophia or Sophie” and that she is the manager!!! No wonder there’s no staff if that’s how she treats a customer.

Purchased a further two packs of Scottish hot smoked salmon as the previous guest comments praised it highly. What an eye opener this time, one of the packs was just mush, awful product this time from Pity Me

worst service ever order an item on click and collect and it dosnt turn up on the day you pick then they loose half of the order and dont let you know. also ordered on next day delivery paid the extra for delivery and it dosnt turn up on the day you pick and they have no idea when it will turn up worst service ever used to be good but now rubbish

Tried to order Xmas food at Bluewater. Staff unaware of sign on order desk notifying customers that there were no collection slots available. Didn't offer alternative pick-up locations until asked. 2 items unavailable (although they will be available in store from 19 December, makes no sense!) no alternatives offered. Basically staff not interested. Ordered food, with a couple of changes, online outside store. Should have ordered from Sainsburys like last year. No hassIe there. I predict M&S will not exist in 10 years especially if their staff are as useless as those on the food order desk at Bluewater!

As a coeliac I have to buy gluten free foods sorry to say marks are way down the list of preferred stores recently bought four mince pies £2.50 tasteless white pastry and mincemeat was minimal. also bought four chicken burgers £3.00 ?well they said chicken never again thru them in bin What I could imagine cardboard. To taste like. Then of cause I got lock muir Salmon fish cakes ( no such place as lock muir. Brand name ) one piece of salmon not sure what rest of filling was but it’s taste less .sorry marks I’ve had enough of over priced gluten free foods from you .They are not value for money they are no where near as big as they used to be ,so I will stick to a Tesco And Asda for my foods in future

Awful customer service. Absolutely shocking. Wasted too much time trying to get part of an outfit that was never delivered. Will never do online shop with M&S again or set foot inside it’s shops.

Last week purchased a chicken tikka masala as part of the £10 Indian meal deal. It was dreadful, one of the worst chicken tikka masala I have ever eaten, it was tasteless, and so very disappointing. In fact it was so bad I was hard pushed to finish it, the chicken had not been anywhere near a tandoori oven and the sauce was bland and devoid of flavour. Will not buy again.

Wears company ever FATHER had phone to cancel account and asked for the money returned when he ask for money back was told to give it to charity WITCH WAS OUT OF ORDER NOT EVERYONE HAS MONEY TO GIVE TO CHARITY MAKE ENOUGH MONEY AS IT IS NOT RIGHT THAT A COMPANY SOULD NEVER FORCING CUSTOMER TO GIVE TO CHARITY IT A LECAL YOU SHOULD IN FORM YOUR STAFF BE FOR YOU END UP IN COURT BEHAFE OF MR MITCHEL LUCKY HELL NEVER BE BACK AT ANY OF THESE STORES EVER NO WOUNDER YOU ARE LOSING CUSTOMERS

I visited Fosse Park Marks and Spencer’s cafe on Thursday 21st November. The cafe needs managing as the staff are over worked so normal hygiene procedures are not being followed.At one time the flow of customer was managed at the entrance , if this doesn’t happen you willing have a bad accident. Also the counter and service area needs a good clean before you get a Environmentally officer visit . The counter is badly cracked and black where germs can multiply. The Staff are very cheerful and helpfully under very difficult working conditions.
