Bought a selection of Chinese food for 2 today. Chicken was as tasteless as Macnuggets, ditto prawn toast which was soggy. Only good thing were the spare ribs. Looked round men's dept at same store (Welwyn Garden City). Dismal selection. Shirts are mainly slim or tailor fit. Floor space reduced to accommodate a coffee bar. M&S has truly lost its way.

Bought ankle grazer joggers today size12 short Length was 29 ins left leg and 291/2 ins right leg. Noticed size 14 goes up to 31 ins. I am 5ft tall and size 14short used to fit perfectly. What has happened to your sizing l have heard lots of people complaining about the short length being longer. I should like to see this rectified so I can continue to buy from M & S.

Feeling very low I have received a email from mark's and Spencer about the family meal deal for mother's Day but it is in-store only and we are all shielding and no one can drive in our house and we do not have any transport or family to help us so we miss out yet again on a amazing deal

I love shopping for food at M&S (Haverfordwest) but it may be time to bring the checkouts up to speed Last week the till froze after all my shopping had been scanned, my son had taken the goods out to the car and I was told I would have to bring it all back and re-scan it - this I declined to do (I am 76 and have better things to do) This took over twenty minutes to rectify. This week my shopping totalled over £170 and even when beer was removed from the total was still far in excess of £140 but the till would not accept my coupon for £14, after ten minutes I gave up and paid the full amount. The staff were excellent but found it hard to deal with the problems with the tills and I am £14 short. Please sort this out.

I bought the lamb tagine for dinner , having had tagine before was looking forward to it , very disappointed it tasted like the tinned lamb curry with a few apricots thrown in . £6 wasted we ate half of it because we were hungry won’t be buying any ready meals again 😔

Having been a regular shopper with M & S for many years I am increasingly disappointed with the quakity of the items now been sold. In the past 2 weeks I have had to return 4 pairs of trousers due to very poor fit in what are clearly 'skinny fit' and not 'regular'. Previously this exact item had been bought and worn with ease. The fleece jacket also had to be returned and 2 sizes smaller ordered. The blouse I ordered was 2 sizes too small, the fabric felt cheap and the buttons poorly stitched. To add insult I then had to print off my own returns label and a postage label. This wonderful store is sadly on track to follow so many others, but this is not due to Covid. It is down to the buy cheap mentality when M & S has always been about quality. You want cheap - the market is flooded. Quality? Go to M & S, buts its a gamble.

I returned items due to sizing, but received refund for only 1 of the items. M&S return label shows both items, however M&S distance selling platform makes it impossible for me to proof that i requested 2 refunds rather than one. A deficient online platform if compared to retailers such as amazon, where you always have individual tracking for each item.

This review is in relation to M & S Skippers Lane, Middlesbrough Branch and would possible have been allocated at least 4 stars, apart from one serious compaint. There are no complaints whatsoever regarding staff, or social distancing etc. It is difficult, however, for many people to understand why the toilets are closed in this store and yet only a few miles away in the main Middlesbrough store, the toilets are open. My family and myself follow, to an exceptionally high level, all the safety regulation re:covid, but feel that the toilets are closed, without justification. The toilets are spacious and if necessary, one cubicle could be closed. Furthermore there would not be a problem with marking one washbasin 'out of use'. Customers in store, are far closer in proximity to one another than they would be when using the toilet facilities. My elderly mother.in.law, and many more, are very concerned that she would not be allowed to use the toilet facilites. At Christmas time, customers doing a large shop were more likely to spend a longer time in store than they would normally. We very much appreciate all the safety precautions that this store is taking, however, the closure of the toilets is a step too far. Customers are informed that they can use the toilets in B & Q at the opposite end of Skippers Lane Retail Park (a fair distance), only to find that they are also not allowed to use the very spacious toilets in that store. Obviously, there is lack of communication between M&S., Linthorpe Rd., Middlesbrough and M&S Skippers Lane, Middlesbrough. There is also a difference in the judgment skills of Management in the two M&S Middlesbrough stores. Management in M&S Linthorpe Road, Middlesbrough branch have achieved the correct balance.

We had queued for some time due to an error the cashier had made with the previous customer. We never said a word about...but neither did the cashier instead he practically threw my shopping to the furthest point away from me. I was unable to pack the items without full reach and bending over the packing area. He was clearly aware I was struggling but continued to put my items out of reach. Never looked at us or spoke to us, very ignorant.

The new recipe for your fresh pea and ham soup is disappointing. I loved your original recipe only one I would buy now it is thinner and tastes sweat and has the taste of garden peas rather than proper soaked marrow.peas. Please change it back. Sorry if this is wrong site but couldnt find where to complain.

Best Ever Macaroni and Cheese? I don’t think so. Far too dry and not as good as the individual 3 for £7 portions.

I am a regular customer of the Gateshead Metro Centre Branch of M&S. However today in the food hall it was Dangerous. Far too many people, no queuing in place so no social distancing, and if there had been a fire, I dread to think what may have happened. This was about 11 am today 3rd December.

I too complained about toilets being closed..received quick reply to say it was in line with government guidance.Nonsense-public toilets did not have to close this time so why should private ones? No chance to wash hands when one has gone down an alley! Were staff toilets closed?

I bought a pair of the 2020 mens cord trousers and am disappointed. I last year I bought four pair of these cords and was very pleased but this year you have reduced the circumference of the leg by 3cm thus as I move and particularly when I come to sit they pull down. Horrid. I am a Marks and Spencer fan !!!

I know that all stores need to be careful..but please remember all customers are different toilets are a necessity if people who have a bladder problem..They need toilets to be open especially while covid is around..there long queues .my wife and I had to leave the store in Longbridge. We had driven 45min to get there..we are regular customers ..there thousands of customers like us who you will find avoid you and go elsewhere toilets are an important factor when shopping..Mark my words you will lose customer during covid

Your men's cotton v neck sweaters are 1 size smaller than labelled and at least 30% thinner than previous iterations for virtually the same price. Will not buy again or recommend.

Ordered 'Tropical Sunrise Bouquet' to be delivered for a friends 89th Birthday. Late delivering, did not ring the door bell or leave a calling card, so she did not know they were there. When she eventually found them there was no message card, as was requested, in the box so she did not know who they were from. The flowers were ok but the delivery service poor.

The young lady at checkout was lovely and offered a great service in Elgin store. HOWEVER, it is unacceptable to be asking people for a donation to a charity at checkout (when you are unable to have charity boxes out). Some people already give to charities and do not need to be asked directly like this. When offered yet another free tote bag, that I declined as I have two. I suggested Marks and Spencers donate the cost of them to the charity instead as I'm quite sure it will mount up to more, be better for your declining reputation and stop awkward moments for poor members of staff having to ask customers face to face at checkout to donate. YOU donate the cost of those bags. Let people donate of their own accord, do not be asking people at checkout.
