I have to say I have shopped in the Torquay food hall for some time now and found most of the staff there lovely that was until I had the horrible experience of meeting this supervisor Nikki she was at the customer service desk and I said can I buy a gift card from here or do I go to the tills she just looked at me and pointed her finger and said there I thought you rude ? and picked a card and said can I put £15 on it please and gave her a £20 note she snatched it out of my hand and just slid the change and card towards me and didn’t say a word no please no thank you I was shaking with anger she is absolutely horrible and disgusting 🤢 but when I read what she and her girlfriend did to that poor man it’s even more idisgusting they say what goes round ? I still shop there but wouldn’t give her the time of day even her own team say it was horrible what she did and that she thinks it’s funny she even said he got what he deserved poor man 👨

i took something back to Marks and Spencers Household Department in Torquay and had dealings with Nikki's Mum Jill and unfortunately its a case of Mother like Daughter her mum treated me like i had asked to pay with my unemployment Giro she was HORRIBLE to me for no reason what so ever i said to a member staff who is the poison Dwarf upstairs she said her name is Jill she is the one who puts the uniform on and becomes the three bob millionaire i couldn't stop laughing all the way home i did complain like every on this site has and got nowhere in fact every time i went in and unfortunately saw Jill she made me feel sick and very uncomfortable there's a saying at work be nice to the people on the way up because you will meet them on the way down for me they are two Nasty bits of work that have lost TORQUAY Marks and Spencers a lot of customers

I Would rate this review nil star rating if it was possible. But just like their online returns procedure which is also impossible when returning items as a guest. Stop harping on about how good you are with your paperless systems and online shopping to save the planet, when you are closing stores and we have to travel extra miles to return online goods to store because your online returns system is so bad it doesn't work.

Have to say regards Torquay food hall reviews its so lovely to read that other customers have had issues with this Nikki section so called manager she was so rude to me when this lovely member staff referred me to her she was so horrible to me i had to put my shopping basket down on the floor and just walk out of the store i was going to complain but after reading what she did to Dale i am so glad i didn't but the next time i want in the store i put my phone on record because i thought if she spoke to me again like she did i am sure head office would have had something to say about it i have her recored on my phone walking out of the warehouse towards me with her arms folded what stance is that saying to a customer staff there said just ignore her she has worked there for 30yrs and is untuchable i now stopped shopping there two

Two orders placed on 12/10/2022 and 14/10/2022 show confirmed in Status. But, on repeated calls and mails.. do not say why the order has not been dispatched or cancelled. The money was paid through my credit card. Very disappointed.

Wanted to by a make up kit for a present at The Wakefield Branch in The Ridings, but there was no price on it. Took one to the tills, but there was a masive queue. Asked an assistant how much they were, and they snatched it off me and marched back to the shelf, where there was no prices! She said " you will have to go to the checkout and have it scanned" I said there was a massive queue, to which she shrugged her shoulders, gave me it back and walked off! Sorry, but wont be calling in here again, and when it shuts down, the staff will wonder why!

What is going on in the Torquay Food hall after reading there reviews i would never shop in that store again for a customer to leave the store in tears what kind of manager would bring a customer to level its so upsetting and after taking the time to read her reviews what can you say accept what a nasty cruel person but it sounds like it start from General Manager down to the horrible section Manager clearly HR and the Executive team don't care about there so called flagships reputation and there own jobs any more they need to wake its all over the southwest Nikki must have lost that store so many customers i personally if you bring a customer to tears do the right thing and look for a new job

For years I have bought your basic large size mens cotton polo T shirts and have been very pleased with the quality of them. Recently I purchased several of colour variety and these have been a disappointment in fact I took some back......a first for me at M & S. The material is course in feel, the sleeves are too short and tight under the arm, the sizes have varied in both chest width and in length and the hems have loose cottons. What has gone wrong with your quality control? They feel made of cheap rough cotton, are poorly manufactured and are not the same standard LARGE size of my previous polos. Perhaps you changed manufacturer...bad choice.

I have to agree with Alison I myself had to take two items back and Nikki section manager looked at me like something she had stepped in in the park and she was so rude to me I left the food hall in tears I had to stop my husband from going in to see her I now shop in Tescos but reading her reviews how has she kept her Job at Torquay marks Spencers

I went to my local marks Spencers to take a food 🥘 item back which was clearly off they left me with this section manager NIKKI to deal with me she was just absolutely horrible to me and made me feel sick to look at her smug attitude I will never shop there again and after reading her reviews what she did to Dale I think I got off lightly my advice to all shoppers avoid her at all costs

The package and delivery of a maxim porcelain roaster was appalling. The roaster was covered with a thin layer of bubble wrap within its thin cardboard box. The plastic outer bag had no mention of the item being fragile inside, and the need to handle with care/ fragile/ ceramic . Well it doesn't take a genius to work out what state it was in when it arrived. It looked like someone had taken a hammer to it and smashed it into a hundred pieces.

Have to say I have worked for M+S for the same amount of years as this unprofessional moxhay it is a great store but Claire Andy and Nicola have not only destroyed the name of the store but divided all the staff what she and Dawn did to lie to the police and send them to his house no one in store will ever forgive them it was HORRIBLE

The cafe standards in your Bexleyheath store has has been slowly going down hill, a few weeks ago my partner and I visited the cafe at 13.00 on a Saturday to be told "no sandwiches, no toasted tea cakes, no jacket potatoes, no toasted paninis, this was lunch time, we visited again today (for the last time) the staff were rude, no please or thank you and had attitude. I normally dont complain but to have 2 complaints in as many weeks seems to me there is a problem somewhere

After purchasing a sofa from M&S, it arrived badly damaged. We were offered a staggering discount of 5% to keep it or we could hold onto it until a new one was delivered, we chose option 2. Some weeks later, the second sofa arrives damaged in exactly the same way. Very little sympathy or understanding from customer services. An employee accidentally initiated a refund meaning they would have to collect the sofa and then I received a very threatening letter from their legal team with all sorts of accusations about deleting account etc which was untrue. In short, the Sofa is being collected, I have wasted three half days for deliveries and collections, 6 months after purchasing the sofa we will be left with no sofa and there is not so much as an apology or an offer of good will or money for the time wasted. I chose M&S as I believed them to be a quality brand with exceptional customer services, this is why I was happy to pay the higher price. However my experience is that their customer service is so far behind and apathetic compared to other companies that I will not be shopping with them again.

have to say how very sad it is to here Marks + Spencers are to close more of there fantastic stores but when you read how the General Manger and her food hall Manager Andy spoke to the shopper of 25yrs to say Marks and Spencers HR Department do not care about the customer they will just pay lip service with you they look after there Managers its Arrogant and patronising and rude is it no wonder there having to close some of there great stores people like this should never have kept there jobs or still be working for such a fantastic company and should have apologised to that poor customer but you have to say Andy was only speaking the truth and new nothing would happen to Claire and himself not even made to apologise to the customer good luck M&S you will need it with reviews like that

Staff in store seem pleasant enough, cant get anything correct when ordered, wrong size, wrong colour it all happens, called customer service to ask about suits in Glasgow stores?,girl on phone was so rude and didnt know anything ,so instead of letting me know if the store had suits she told me to go in and find out(this was the whole reason for the call)went to Slaters instead, treated well and everything in order, another customer lost.

OMG after reading the reviews about the general manager Claire that took the gentleman outside the store after he put in a complaint about the arrogant commercial manager and the way he spoke to him to the HR department how dare Claire say my role here is to protect my managers and the good name of the store and i take it very seriously when you complain about my staff any good name that store had the three of them have destroyed Moxy /Harris /and Thomas but it must seem clear to everyone reading the reviews Marks & Spencers don't value customers that shop there for over 20yrs or more it seems three very very nasty members of staff but i personally blame the HR for allowing them to treat and lie about someone in this vey unpleasant way Torquay have also lost me as a customer

A company to avoid. 2 Rochester sofas, 3 complaint letters, calls to their customer referral team, dropped sofas, wrong material, in store advisors that you never hear from again and still despite taking money in March 2022 I still don’t have a satisfactory sofa! Stuart Machin take note, customers are not happy, please start to care!
