My only slight criticism is that there is not of the specifications and dimensions on screen to help with the site preparation. A little more information would have been helpful.”

Dispatch and communications are excellent. the courier they used was awful and arrived a day late which was terrible. The customer service people at Matalan were very good trying to sort them out. “Our order was despatched quickly but we had small problems with the delivery. To cut a long story short, the driver did not call ahead as requested and we almost had a 2nd failed delivery had we not jumped in the car immediately to rush home. It was a little stressful. However, I appreciate this problem occurred due to the delivery company, rather than Matalan Direct itself.
On a different note, I found Matalan Direct' prices extremely competitive and despite not needing it, found the returns policy of having the goods picked up from customers in case of a refund, very reassuring.
One of my items were found cheaper elsewhere and a quick email solved this immediately with the price match gauruntee that Matalan Bathroom offers.
Overall, a positive experience and I'd use again.”

The baskets have a 10 year guarantee, they look good, so I hope they will not rust like the one I replaced. The four mounting screws were missing for the shelf although I informed the company it was not resolved.”

Really sorry that we’ve not been dealt with your problem as quickly as we should do. It’s not the standard we should be delivering and I’m going to look into this to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
I have arranged for some replacement screws to be issued, and these should be received within the next couple of days.

“Good service, our items were delivered quite promptly. The sink and the pedestal are of great quality. The taps look well made, but of course can't comment until they are fitted. The only thing which stopped me giving 5 stars was the delivery tracking. The e mail had a link which didn't work at all, after trying for 2 days I missed the delivery. I rang the delivery team, and they said oh yeah we do have problems sometimes the link doesn't work, so I think Matalan should really use another company or sort out the issues, as this is t the first review to mention re the delivery. It didn't cause much bother but still needs addressing. Otherwise fantastic service and good quality products.”
