“MIXED EMOTIONS I have mixed emotions when trying to write this review as the service received from ordering to delivery was nothing short of first class. The delivery company were excellent and phoned 1hr before delivery as requested as no one was living in the property after the December floods. The items arrived extremely well packaged (cardboard boxes with corner protectors and protective plastic) Why mixed emotions, I hear you ask? Well if you read the small print then you have to report any damge within 48hrs, however as we were not living in the property at time of delivery and when we un-packaged the basin it was cracked. Now as I said earler the goods were extremely well packaged and I can only assume this was cracked before the packaging stage as polystyrene were on the corners and it was inside a cardboard box inside another one and no sign of damge to the packaging. When I rang to inform them all I got was "you need to read the small print" Well I'm sorry Matalan this is not good enough and I will not be recommending you to any friends or family. Shame as the product is excellent”

“From the time of purchase & receiving the order,there were lot of confusions. There is still an outstanding item missing of which i am still awaiting. You should keep intouch with your purchasers until the orders has reached its address safely. i had a lot of problems in chasing the delivery”

“Never even got my product. Matalan Direct delivery was described as prearranged delivery, I was contacted told they could bring it "tomorrow", I said I couldn't be in tomorrow could they do it the next day, on a Saturday or early or late in the day. They said we can do a week next Monday. Is that a prearranged delivery or acceptable, how many people can get the next day off work? At a cost of £35 for delivery I should have been able to get it when I wanted, wasn't like I paid £5. It's a shame because the product looked good at a good price and I planned to order more from them.”
